After trying to arrange for granite countertops with an outfit just north of Ann Arbor on Zeeb Road…read moreand being lead on for weeks an Internet search for other granite installers lead me to Trusted Improvement in Livonia. I faxed in a rough diagram of my countertops for an estimate and an email was returned very quickly with a fair price. A call to the office later that day to schedule a measurement was answered by the owner and he came out to Ann Arbor the next morning and arrived right on time. The installers came out about 3 1/2 weeks after the initial contact and completed the job in an efficient, professional manner. They showed up on time, put down protective drop cloths, worked quickly and cleaned up after themselves and treated me and my home with respect! The only thing I would point out is that their website says that they will be done in 10-14 days, but I think now that the economy is coming back in Michigan, they are obviously much busier and it's just going to take a little longer to get the job done. But I'll take that as a positive sign that they are busy...so they are good...and I can confirm that!!

They installed an inferior kitchen sink, with scratches. After many calls and over a month later, Andy finally agreed to replace the sink and purchase a sink grid (at my expense) to prevent scratching the new sink. Andy gave me a number of one of his contractors (David) to call to schedule the installation. I called David and the install was scheduled for this past Sunday. David called me Sunday morning and said he went by the shop to pick up the "best available" (whatever that means)sink, but couldn't find the grid. He said that the granite fabricator (Radu) must have it at his house. I ask him to stop by Radu's house to pick up the grid and then come over to do the install. Well, David apparently called Andy and told him I cancelled the install because Andy send me a nasty email saying he was sorry I canceled the install and he's not going to replace my sink or respond to any of my emails, phone calls, or text messages. Is this the kind of company you want to do business with. I think not!

We let them know that we needed the driveway done and cured before that date so we could use a wheelchair on it . They were here the next day to take out the old concrete and prepare it for the new. These guys really knew their stuff and they worked long and hard and did an absolutely stellar job. Communication with Michigan Rose Construction was great. They were always available to answer questions and we enjoyed interacting with the men who were doing the work. We would hire them again for any construction project without hesitation.
