The steaks were delicious, but should include a small salad for the price. The house is very pleasant and quaint.

Scotts Grill - BBQ stuffed potatoe

    Scotts Grill

Sometimes, the true soul of a restaurant can be revealed to you without having tasted a bite of…read moretheir food. Today, my wife, daughter (2.5 years old), and I stopped into Scott's for a meal after a morning at the Discovery Park. We were excited to try the pizza and potatoes, but my toddler had other ideas. After going to the restroom with my wife, my daughter threw a massive fit in the middle of the restaurant. She was crying, hitting, screaming...basically every parent's worst nightmare. I knew that if we didn't calm her down, the cold beers that I had ordered for my wife and I would remain in their bottles to be consumed by the trashcan. Unfortunately, that was the case. My daughter wouldn't calm down and we had to leave the restaurant. Before that, the staff at Scott's tried everything they could to help calm my little one down. They offered her a snow cone, ice cream, and even an chance to wear one of the cool Fireman hats they had. While none of these things worked, it showed that the staff at Scott's is thoughtful and understanding. They never told us to leave or gave us snarky looks with the expectation that we would do so. They simply did the human thing: they tried to help. As we left, cold beers on the table desiring nothing more than to be enjoyed, they even sent a small snow cone out with my wife with the hope that my daughter would calm down for the hour drive ahead of us. She didn't receive that lovely, icey treat, as I don't believe in reward for acting up. She will one day though, as the next time I come to Union City, Scott's Grill will be our meal destination - even if I have to endure a cranky toddler to get it. Thank you to the staff for trying your best and showing that the soul of a restaurant isn't always with the food, but with the people that make it.

When I dropped off the order, the lady said she was missing items. So I went back, a blonde server told me I needed to read my "fucking" receipt and she ripped the bag open and looked through the customers food. Talking to me like I am an idiot. She told me that she was not remaking the customers food because the food was already there but it was incorrect. They made the customer the wrong food with a big price difference. She was very rude and disrespectful. Not professional at all and would fully recommend this establishment to immediately terminate her for how she acted

Miss Barbara is a most delightful hostess and owner. Looking for local color? This is the place. The entrance does not face the road so you will have to look for the building that looks like a body shop, but the spacious interior has a big bar and plenty of seating with several pool tables. Clearly this is a neighborhood hangout.

Local Bar with Massive Rib-eyes…read more Mcadoo's is an experience, and one you should explore if you are in the Blytheville area. I have, over the years, wanted to go and check the place out, but a combination of not being able to find it and not having enough time has always kept me from a visit. During my last visit to Blytheville, a business colleague and I decided to check this infamous establishment out and have a business dinner, beers, and rib-eyes. Mcadoo's is located in central Blytheville, across from the fire station, and it is in a simple metal shack, which can make it hard to find. There are no signs on the building, just the name written on the entrance door. Inside, you find a fully functioning bar with pool tables and plenty of tables to sit at. Mcadoo's has an old-school vibe as the inside is lit up by old-school red lights. Like bars of old, you can smoke inside; keep this in mind if you are a non-smoker or have allergies to smoke. Mcadoo's has a fully stocked bar, but it's mostly known for its rib-eye steaks. Our server came to our table and informed us that they had no apps and that our only options were rib-eye with salad, baked potato, and toast, or rib-eye with toast, as nothing else was available on the menu. The rib-eyes took about twenty minutes to arrive, and they were massive and cooked to perfection. The salad and the baked potato were fresh and okay, but the focus was on the steak. The steaks were juicy and tender, and they were also very affordable. The allure of Mcadoo's is the experience, the full bar and the affordable rib-eyes. It is also a favourite place for locals to hang out. Overall, a good experience and a great rib-eye dinner.

This is…read morenot the place to go if you are looking for mood lighting, artisanal coasters, or a bartender who calls you "sir" unironically. And honestly it works. The locals greeted me like I'd just come back from a long trip instead of walking in for the first time. Either they're incredibly friendly or they thought I needed supervision. Either way, solid welcome. Service was minimal in the best possible way. No hovering, life story, or unnecessary check-ins. Just quick, friendly, and efficient, like they understood I came to eat, not start a long term relationship. Now here's where things take a turn: the food has no business being this good. I ordered the Southside Supreme Pizza, and I'm still trying to figure out how a place that looks like it could host a darts league championship is casually putting out world class pizza. I've had pizza from all over the world and this place can hold its own. Thin, perfectly crispy crust, fresh ingredients, and enough cheese to make you question your priorities but not your choices. It's like the pizza didn't get the memo about where it was being served. So yeah, I give it 5 stars. Come for the dive bar charm, stay because the food quietly outperforms half of the "fancy" places that make you wait 45 minutes for a table and then serve you a disappointment on a wooden board. I'll definitely be back. Next time I might even try to look like I belong.

We walked in and ordered two steak dinners along with one bucket of beer. 95$, we obviously knew it was going to be pricey.. We gave the sweet lady with a short hair a hundred dollar bill.. we did not receive any change back. We stood there waiting and she told us to go ahead and have a seat anywhere. We sat at an empty table and got our salads. From our observation while waiting the blonde lady seemed to be the owner. We watched her for a while, talking and hitting a THC cart in front of the customers and blowing it with no regard to customers. A family of 7 was seated next to us about 20 mins later. They weren't even seated for 10 minutes and were brought out crab legs, steak, and a few other dinners. We realize this was the owners family or friend. We got our steak about 10 minutes later and it was absolutely delicious. About five people from the family left and there was only two, the owner proceeded to come over and talk crap for over 30 minutes. We had finished our bucket so we started buying just single beers. A lady charged us 5$ per beer. When we went to get two more, the young man only charged 4$ per beer. Odd. We decided to have one more before we left. We were then charged 5$ per beer. Gave the owner a $20 and she gave us our two beers and proceeded to walk away. No intention of giving us back our change. When it came to leave my boyfriend decided to talk to the owner about the dishonesty and theft of 20+ dollars. He let her know if you really need my money that bad then I understand, but it is still very dishonest. She proceeded to curse him out and use vulgar profanity. Mind you I am 25 and I do look a bit younger than that, my bf is 29. She proceeded to tell him to get the f*** out and she said she had been watching us all night. She then told him that he was an absolute creep amongst other disgusting words. She proceeded to tell him to leave or she would have two of her regulars get him out if not. I am absolutely shocked at the lack of customer service this woman had. This is a grown woman that is definitely over the age of 60 and lacks just simple etiquette and kindness. She was completely OK with stealing and admitted it as well. In the beginning, she said we can make it right but then in instant became hostile. We can confidently say that we will never come here again or recommended to anyone else.
