I loved the Wedding Shoppe. I went there with my maid of honor and as soon as Traci started to work with me she instantly picked up my sense of what I wanted. She was great in the fact that she took us all around the store and really listened, I went to other shops and when I say no satin they didn't get that I hate satin. Traci never tried to get me to like satin or even try one on, she did however pull my dream Monique Lulliher dress, something I don't think I would have actually pulled for myself but when I put it on it was just too perfect for words. She understood that I liked body-con dress and supported my style without being too sales pitchy. I hate when someone is just trying to make a commission off of my purchase - totally not the case. Moreover, her words resonated with me and essentially made me pick the dress, she said she couldn't get me out of it! I had my mom drive from jersey, meet me the very next morning and bought the dress with Patti who also was very helpful in the process and picking accessories. I love this store! I went shopping for my wedding dress in both the Philadelphia area and DC and this was hands down the best place I went. It is very much a high end bridal boutique so I wouldn't recommend bringing large groups. It also carries some of the best bridal designers so if you have a strict budget it may be hard to shop here because it is more expensive than other stores in the area. Donna was my sales associate and she was so helpful and truely made buying my wedding dresss a memorable and very special time for my mom and I. The staff is very nice but not over bearing or pushy at all. In fact, when I couldn't decide between two dresses Donna suggested sleeping on it a few days and to even try other dresses on at different stores to make sure. She truely works with you and realizes how important it is to find the perfect wedding dress. Once I got my dresss she helped me compliment it with the right accessories that fit my style. If I had to buy my dress all over again I would only go here! read more

I visited the Wedding Shoppe with a friend when she was planning her wedding and I immediately knew it was where I would go when I was was engaged. Since then, I moved outside of New York city and a year late my fiancé proposed. After going to Kleinfelds, I all I wanted to do was head back to Wayne to go to the Wedding Shoppe. My mom and I walked in the day after Thanksgiving and met Marie. She is incredible! She was so warm an inviting that felt like I was trying on dresses with a close family friend. She listed to all of my thoughts and helped me find the perfect dress. We ended up spending most of the day at the Shoppe talking about alterations, trying veils, and looking at dresses for my mother. Marie followed up with a beautifully handwritten thank you note. She is also helping us to order bridesmaids dresses and has been sending me fabric swatches in Hoboken. Whenever we call with questions, Marie is always there to help us. I said, "YES TO THE DRESS," on Friday afternoon, April 25, with my mother and Marie Tegler at The Wedding Shoppe in Wayne, Pennsylvania. It was a fabulous day and I knew from the moment I saw the Rosa Clara gown online, I was going to search until I found it! It was everything I thought it was going to be and more. I did not try another single dress on after I slipped into the Rosa Clara. I just knew! The decision was not only easy to make because of the beauty of the gown but also because Marie Tegler was wonderful and exceeded all our expectations. She made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked through the doors of The Bridal Shoppe. We connected on so many levels. She was down to earth, sweet, honest, and had a wealth of information on all of the designer gowns. On my drive to The Wedding Shoppe, I had no idea that I would find the bridal gown of my dreams but I did and I am forever grateful for Marie Tegler, Rosa Clara, and the experience. HORRIBLE, PRETENTIOUS STAFF. My first experience at the store was looking for a wedding dress with my daughter who is 21 years old. When we mentioned taking pictures, we were kindly informed that pictures are not allowed. Obviously, we completely understood and had no issues with the policy. As I was trying on a dress, my daughter was playing a game on her phone to pass the time. When the sales associate and I came out of the dressing room, the saleswoman ran over to my daughter and scolded her about pictures not being allowed. Of course my daughter was embarrassed and completely taken aback for being yelled at.....especially when she wasn't even THINKING about taking a picture. Funny thing is that the next time I was in the store, a different saleswoman allowed pictures to be taken. These women should really get their rules straight and be a bit more respectful at that. read more

It's a shame there are only 5 stars, b/c I'd give Marie @ The Wedding Shoppe infinite stars! She is amazing. She had such a great sense of what I was looking for and didn't try to push me one way or the other. She listened to everything I had to say, did not rush me at all, and calls me frequently to answer my questions and guide me through this time before my wedding. I feel completely at ease when I'm with her and she is patient with me even when I get bridezilla-ish and a little OCD :) I wouldn't be able to get through this time without her! The Wedding Shoppe has GORGEOUS gowns for not only brides but also bridesmaids and mother of the birde/groom. I purchased my gown here as well as 9 bridesmaid dresses and my mother-in-law to be got her dress here too. They are a wonderful staff and know what they are talking about. Bought my dress here, and I absolutely loved it. My main motivation in reviewing is to highlight Cindy, the seamstress who helped tailor my dress perfectly! I had several fittings with Cindy, she was very helpful and great to work with! We also ended up hiring her to help with the day of my wedding, after realizing that no one else could get my dress on and do the bustle so easily and perfectly! She was very helpful on the day of, not only in helping me get dressed, but lining up the bridesmaids to spray them to help with their staticky dresses, fixing four of the male bridal party's pants due to them being incorrectly fitted. So glad we had her there, loved working with her!! I felt like such a princess in my dress :) read more

I worked with Pattie at The Wedding Shoppe and she helped me find my perfect wedding dress. She worked fast pulling dresses of different styles and listened to my likes and dislikes. In doing so, we finally got to the one. It had all of the elements I was looking for, plus more. It wasn't until I worked with Aida, the seamstress provided by the shop, that it truly became MY dress. Aida was absolutely amazing with her talent! I was having issues with the fabric irritating my very sensitive skin and she was able to adjust the neckline so that it sat just right without making me red and blotchy. Overall, I was very happy with the service at The Wedding Shoppe and beyond happy with Aida. read more

RUDE, DISORGANIZED, UNSURE STAFF - My bridesmaids and I went to the store so I could show them my weddding dress and to look at MOB and bridesmaids' dresses. We came in with our own champagne and opened it in the store. We were immediately told that drinks could only be consumed by the front desk (different rules than those that existed the prior week). So we awkwardly finished our glasses, standing in the middle of the foyer and then went downstairs to look at dresses. You can imagine how upset we were when an entire bridal party came downstairs all drinking champagne that the store had given them. Clearly there are different rules for different people! read more

I had such a great experience with Marie as well as Patti. Marie was my consultant and we clicked together on the same page right away. She asked my budget and my style of dress that I preferred. Without her, I would have never found my dream dress. I had tried on dresses at other stores, in Ardmore and the city, but didn't have luck. At the Wedding Shoppe, Marie pulled dresses I'd never seen or considered. She is very knowledgable and mindful of your needs. She's followed up with me several times after my dress purchase. Our bridal consultant, Marie Tegler, was not only a delight to work with but made my daughter feel comfortable and totally relaxed. She went out of her way to make our experience memorable.
