I love the Wake Up Calls in Spokane. It's been awesome to see their growth the last couple years. The staff is always super friendly and persistent. The quick service is always a plus. I just tried their breakfast sandwiches and the cutest barista with red hair was just so accommodating. She introduced me to the nitro cold brew and the creaminess was just amazing. The breakfast sandwich was a five cheese bagel with egg and ham. So so good. You can't ever go wrong with the call booth theme and the open spacious, natural lit areas in the shops either. This is definitely one of my new favorite coffee places. Love love love the selection they basically have every chocolate bar you can think of in a coffee drink. I also like the selection of different milks you can get from hemp, almond, soy, coconut, 1%, 2% and whole. I was surprised they even had coconut whipped cream. I've heard bad reviews about customer service there. I have gone several times and the atmosphere has been super friendly and they are very cheerful. I will definitely be going back. read more

I come here when I get gift cards but it isn't my go to. The coffee isn't ever consistent. I drink a iced mocha americano and it never tastes the same and a few times I'm handed it and the bottom is warm from the espresso when the drink is iced because they didn't mix anything. This is a great local shop. I love the cute phone booth design. It's quick and easy to get through the drive thru, which makes it a perfect stop on a busy morning. We tried it for the first time today and won't be back. The girl with the pink hair was so irritated that we came through her window. We'd never been before and I told her that, and instead of offering suggestions she treated us like we were stupid for not knowing what they have. The smoothies were absolutely disgusting, and the weird pumpkin drink was a miss. If you are going to be snotty and rude at least make decent drinks. read more

I come here 2-5 times a week and my order is perfect every time! They have amazing coffee and the Mad Hatters are so tasty. I can't count the number of times I've gone back because the sandwich was made with the wrong breakfast meat. Whenever I come home to Spokane, everyday I get a 16 oz. vanilla, white coffee latte. I don't know what it is about the white coffee, but they have me hooked! I also love that they carry the Nothing Bundt cakes! The service is great. The baristas are always nice and personable. They make the coffee in a quick manner. Wake Up Call coffee is part of a chain of coffee shops with at least four different stores in Spokane Valley. They have a website where they also sell their beans; I haven't ordered, but apparently they can deliver to your door. This is one of their retail locations which appears busy, but mostly appears to service as a drive-thru. The inside is reasonable with a number of tables, although it's probably never that busy. After sitting with a paper for an hour on a weekday, I was the only customer who came inside. However, there was a continuous stream of drive-thru patrons. Service was prompt and my latte was decent; I'd call it average Pacific Northwest quality. Interestingly, even serving seated customers, they still place it in a to-go cup. One of the nice things is that the walls are mostly glass, so the inside seems bright and cheery. It's a fairly new stand, and interestingly, the menu is displayed on two scrolling plasma TVs behind the counter. The whole shop is fairly distinctive, with the shop formed into the shape of a large fire-engine red old-school telephone booth. read more

Not great service :/ I went about a week around around 8:30 pm and when I pulled up to the window I saw three baristas talking and look at me. I made eye contact with them and they just stood there. If they were closed they should have tried to let me know or if they weren't closed I'm not sure why they didn't take my order. Not going here again. read more

I used to love Wake Up Call, today I ordered a 24 oz. "MadHatter Peach Ring" drink and got what seems to be club soda with a little drop of flavor. I was very confused, so I called the location and the two ladies who picked up the phone were very rude. I was very kind when asking questions and just asking what they put in the drink and they were very short and told me they could not help and hung up the phone. For it being pretty pricey, I was very surprised with what I was given. I am very disappointed and don't plan on coming again. read more

I know my espresso. I am very picky when it comes to the taste of my drinks. It doesn't matter which baristas make my drink, it is perfect every time. My traditional drink is a 16oz triple iced caramel latte with non fat milk. No other espresso stand or cafe even comes close for some reason. I was told it was because they make it with love :) I even buy their whole beans to make my own espresso at home it's so smooth. read more

Yum to the max! My friend and I stopped here on a whim on our way to Pier 1. I ordered an iced 12oz. Caramel macchiato and my friend got a 24oz cappuccino. She didn't realize how huge of a drink that was until the barista handed me a giant ass cup through the window. This is probably the best coffee I've ever had. Now that might not mean much, coming from California where the Starbuckses and Peet's are aplenty. But this was so smooth and balanced, not burnt and way too sugary. It was perfect. I wish there were more around! If I'm out and about I will make the 15min drive to the valley for this coffee. Every time! read more

I have been a faithful and loyal customer since the first wake up call opened on Evergreen. The last three to four months have been overwhelmingly disappointing as far as service goes. I have had my drink made wrong more times than it has been made right. The system where they have the runners come out and take the order seems to be flawed. Three wrong drinks ago I told the gal who handed me my drink that it wasn't right and she actually question me if I had ordered the wrong drink. This happened to be at the Sullivan location where I have by most problems. I've been ordering the same exact drink for years I'm pretty sure I didn't just get it wrong that day.....and dramatically wrong at that. I'm hoping they can pull it together as I've talked about this amongst friends and I'm getting a lot of "I've been having that problem too". read more

Contrary to what Kristina says, the shots ARE NOT pre made! You watch them brew the shots right there as you order your drink! This is FALSE info! I have been a loyal fan to WUC ever since 2004, and their coffee never disappoints. Most of the girls there know what drink I order, and it's always the same anyways, but it's nice to know that they remember who always gets what. The girls are really nice and are always prompt with making my order. I love sitting inside when I meet with friends for coffee, and they do have outside seating too when it gets warm out. They have free wi-fi for paying customers. They have a digital point system when you buy a coffee from them and every drink is equal to 1 point and after 10 drinks you get a free drink. It isn't a punch card, but similar to a debit card in the fact that it's plastic. The best part is they offer military discounts, my husband is in the Army, so it's nice to know some local businesses support people who do so much for our country, and on Veterans Day, they give free drinks to any military personnel and their spouses. It is much appreciated from those who serve. They also give discounts to police and fire personnel also, which is wonderful too. If you want the *best* coffee in the Spokane Valley area, go to Wake Up Call! I wish that they would put a few downtown, since the only coffee I drink is Wake Up Call, as I have yet to find any coffee establishments that suit my tastes, as I'm *very* picky too when it comes to my coffee. read more
