Such a friendly place! Everyone I have met at the window here is just great, upbeat and positive. The coffee is always good, and their snacks are pretty good as well. Love the breakfast bagels. Obviously, I can't see much through the window, but anyone who isn't involved in something is cleaning or restocking. I never see garbage in their drive thru either, so they are intent on keeping the place clean all around, which I really respect. Visiting from out of town and loved my coffee. I told the barista what I had in mind and she did a great job!

You need to fix your online hours. If you're gonna close at six put 6 PM online. Online it says you close at seven.

I will not recommend this place at all there Americano does not taste like Americano is so bad

I drive from the Northside to the Valley 5 days a week for work. I will drive slightly out of my way to get coffee here before my shift because the ladies are always so sweet! I will go days or weeks without getting coffee here and then I will go days or weeks getting coffee from here everyday. LOL. It does suck that nobody has remembered my order yet and the last time I got coffee I think my shots were sitting too long because my drink tasted like burnt popcorn. But I know if I had tried my drink before I drove off they would have definitely fixed it for me. They also don't use punch cards anymore, you have an awards card. But no one has told me how it works or how many coffees I need to buy before I can get a free coffee? read more

I was at this location at about 8:40am today (4-11-18). I ordered my drink, the barista seemed like she understood the order, & I was given my drink. Due to the fact that I've been here MANY times in the past & had a great experience, I felt no need to try my drink & could tell it was the correct temp by holding the cup (I have barista experience). I drove away. When I tried my drink, it tasted like NO flavoring had been added or it was never stirred in properly. I tried shaking the cup. I tried opening the lid & stirring it, which made a COMPLETE mess. It just tasted like unsweetened almond milk. I tried chugging it down just to get it over with & almost GAGGED!!! WORST experience at a coffee stand so far, & I've had a few! I may not go back over this, which makes me VERY sad. read more

As a teenager I used to frequent the Jacob's Java in Cheney, and I never had a problem with the business or coffee. It had been a long, long time since I had any coffee at Jacob's Java, and I had never tried the one out in the Valley. There was a car on one side of the building, so I had pulled up on the opposite side. It is actually pretty large inside, and it appeared there was only one girl working. She did not acknowledge me in any way, so I figured that she must not have realized I had pulled up. I decided I would drive around and pull up behind the other person, so it she could at least see that I was waiting. I sat there literally for about 3 minutes while she just stood and talked to the person in the car in front of me. The person's drink was sitting on the ledge for a couple of minutes when she finally handed it to the person. Even at this point their super important conversation was not finished. I waited a total of about 7 minutes in line, (which I would not mind if they were busy and I was a couple of cars behind), but I was literally the only other person there. I did not even get the chance to try the coffee, so my rating is not based on how well they make coffee, but only on the experience I had. As I pulled away she and I made eye contact and she looked as if it she could not care less, and did not show any sort of remorse for ignoring me. Even as I pulled out and waited at the red light the car still remained at the window and they continued to talk. Needless to say I was beyond annoyed, I cannot believe that they would allow someone to act so rudely. I drove to another coffee shop, and I'm really happy I did because it ended up being delicious. read more

This one of favorite local coffee shops in town! If you haven't tried one of their bagels, you're missing out!! Unlike other places that put their bagels in a microwave or toaster.... This place steams them! The bagels become fluffy and full of delight! Yum! read more

So I have visited JJ's numerous times and never had a bad experience until today...so bad I just had to rate/review it. Sunday about 10 AM waiting in line (there is always a line it is so popular) behind 2 cars on one side and 4 on the other side. About 12" wait. Waiting so long I rehearsed my order in my mind and when asked I told her I wanted, "A double latte, with Coconut cream, extra cinnamon, no straw and no sleave", as my hands are always cold and the heat feels good. First she seemed confused and wasn't sure what I wanted...so I repeated my order and she said she didn't hear latte (remember) the first time and didn't know what Coconut cream was. I said Coconut milk and she finally got it. Brought me my drink with a sleave on the cup and I stated again I didn't need the sleave...and amazingly she started to lecture me on why I needed the sleave...so I just took it off and threw it on the counter. So irritated ! And guess what ? As I drive down the interstate I discovered they forgot to add the cinnamon which is the flavor I like with my coffee. PS-The coffee was as good as usual...the experience was not ! read more

Great location, tasty drinks, super friendly baristas...my coffee spot when I'm visiting Spokane!

I think it is important to start off with saying that I have been patronizing this business for YEARS upon YEARS on a DAILY basis, at a few of their locations. Up until about about a month ago, I would say this location deserved a hard-earned, 5 stars. However, after the loss of their two main baristas, Carley and Kenzie, I have completely ceased coming here. The current workers (I think their names are Melissa and Xani) are obviously novices. I have given them several opportunities to dazzle me, even going to the lengths of ordering a different drink than usual, so that I wasn't setting them up for failure by comparison. Customer service is sub-par; I had to clarify that the words "white coffee," meant I wanted white coffee, not white chocolate- the directions couldn't have been more clear had I written them down. Following "completion" of the order, I was given a coffee that earned the title of the WORST EVER. Thank you Xani, with that experience I finalized my decision to avoid this location until Carley returns in November.... when that happens, this review will be edited with new details/rating, or removed entirely. From personal experience, I would refer people to the location on 17th & Ray for the great Jacob's coffee this business has provided for years. read more
