initially came in just to browse around cause my family and I were next door at the Aloha Kitchen next door and this nice worker named Ariana welcomed me in and asked if I needed help. I told her no I was just in to window shop. She was polite though and told me about the promotions going on and said that if I had any questions to please ask away, and asked to check my account to see if I had any points off. I didn't have an account but she offered to create one for me to earn points. I declined at first, but appreciated the offer. I asked her some questions about the vitamins and the proteins because I've never taken this type of stuff before. she explained them to me and which ones she took herself. I got some of the things she recommended and I signed up too since both my family and I ended up buying some stuff, and she said that because of the amount we spent we'd be getting $5 off our next purchase. First time coming into the store. Needed to get my essentials for my bariatric surgery. Aly and Melanie were beyond what I expected! As soon as we walked in they welcomed us, they were super knowledgeable on their products. I was able to purchase my items and feel very comfortable on the products I was taking. Holy cow do they have a lot of options here. We went in looking for a good protein powder and super greens. There were so many options, so we took the time to look over some labels. Chose a Vegetarian/Vegan/Soy Free/Dairy Free Non-GMO/Lactose Free version. Crazy! I did not even know this existed, but it was perfect for us. We chose a the super greens powder and went to the register. The clerk was very enthusiastic. Very talkative and animated. She apparently really likes her job. She signed us up for the rewards program. I apologize, but I don't remember the exact details, as she was just that animated. It was hard to keep up. I believe that points accumulate throughout the year, and you get the reward as money off of future purchases near the begining of the year. Looking around, they have cosmetics, hair products and pretty much everything concerning nutrition. And yes there were some very fit people shopping around to make us all feel even less healthy than we really are. I love their selection. read more

Only making this review because the store closed before the closing time, 6 pm. When i arrived before 6pm they had already been counting money with doors locked. Place was not busy at all on 12/08/19 @ 1430, there was only 2 customers in there to include myself and 2 sales associates. Not one of them greeted nor assisted. The older female sales associate just gave me a sour look and looked away...Store has great stuff but I wouldnt support a store that doesnt appreciate their customers. read more

This store has gone downhill ever since faith left. The store has lost some key people and it has left it devoid of product knowledge so you better know what you want before going in there. Even if you do know what you want don't expect the employees to know where it's at. The good news is they still have the products and with enough time you can find it on your own. I talked to a few other customers and they felt the same way. I would recommend to the store to bring Faith back or start a better training program for the employees. I have enjoyed coming here for years but I'm probably going to take my business online. I hope they get it figured out. read more

I've been a customer of Lon's for years. When he moved to Vitamin Shoppe I had to follow him. He is extremely knowledgeable and current when it comes to supplements. I'm glad he's choose to work here because they have a bigger selection of products compares to most. The location is great, the store is well stocked, and very organized. Vitamin Shoppe has and been always the spot for me to shop for supplements. They have an array of selections of protein shake powders, BCAA powders or pills, creatine powder just to name a few. Member ship is free unlike other supplement stores. I've actually earned enough points that I was able to redeemed it for a 2lb protein shake powder. Customer service is great; ask them anything and they will have an answer for it. They also have great sales every month which everyone should take advantage of I think; some merchandise goes down to 20-30%off or additional percent of sale prices. And also sign up for their email because they send coupons for you to use.. read more

I used to use GNC exclusively, but I find the prices, knowledge base, and customer service much more helpful at Vitamin Shoppe.

Cannot remember their names, but the young man in the store with the arm tattoo and the young man with dark hair were very great. I had lots of questions about testosterone and pre workouts and when they both had a lot of knowledge and answered every question I had to ask. Unlike GNC, it looks like this company really does well with having employees who know their stuff. They sold me "Androrush" and "Pre Kaged" and they are working as great as they said it would! The Vitamin Shoppe is a place I keep coming back to for supplements. I've shopped Sunflower, Whole Foods, and other places and while each has their niche when it comes to price and in some cases brands and even selection (exclusive items) The Vitamin Shoppe seems to have the edge. If you pull up Amazon on your smartphone and check prices, by the time you tack on shipping The Vitamin Shoppe has come out ahead for me. Plus by buying here vs. online I feel better knowing I'm helping to keep local people working. But all that feel good stuff aside, they usually have what I want. Tribulus? 5 different bottles and that's just what you see first. Kava Kava? Yep, they got it. Various vitamin supplements including iron free stuff for men? Yep. From TwinLab to a very good in house brand, if you take supplements this should be on your list of places to check out. They also offer additional specials and online offers to save money but that's outside this review. When you walk in the store is clean. and while it's lightly staffed if you're patient you'll be able to get knowledgeable help. My patience limit is kinda short but I've never walked out of here peeved over service. Parking and access is easy as long as Sunset is not jammed with traffic, and after shopping there's a great Rubio's 2 doors down. read more
