I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this location and am thoroughly impressed with their customer service. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with genuine smiles and a warm welcome. Ana, Torie, Jerica, and Susannah were not only friendly but also incredibly knowledgeable and attentive to my needs. I LOVE this store and their herbs are TOP TIER in quality. I recently went in and spoke with the assistant manager Ana who recommended a product to help with my chronic fatigue and inflammation. After taking the herbally grounded brand of herb drops for only a few days I had little to no pain during my menstrual cycle. This is HUGE for me because I have endometriosis and my cramps are debilitating unless I'm taking 800mg ibuprofen multiple times a day. The fact that I didn't have to take any pain meds after using these herbs (for me I use 3 dropperfuls 1-2 times per day) has been mind blowing and a game changer. The woman in the picture is a staff member who treated me and my husband who are both of color deplorably by following us and watching us from the shadows and doing random tasks so she could keep her eye on us. We were offended, disrespected, and hurt. No one should be treated as though they are a criminal for simply supporting a business and that's how me and my husband were treated. Herbally grounded neighborhood health food store Arriving at 5:30pm, after having made the trek from the strip to the store in rush hour traffic, to get some herbs for tea making. Was initially welcomed by a younger Caucasian woman who asked whether she could help with anything. I thanked her for her acknowledgement and proceeded to the back. There was an older Caucasian woman who asked whether she could help, while working with other patrons. I thanked her for asking and told her that I was just looking. After my compatriot arrived, the Caucasian woman again asked whether she could help- slightly annoyed, as she asked aggressively, I told her thank you for asking AGAIN, but re-stated that we were looking. She took her aggression to action as she stated that they were closing soon and passive aggressively mentioned that my moving the canister was messing up what she had organized. She then stepped in front of me, which there was NOT enough space between myself and the merchandise to do so, stepping on my foot, she organized the canister, which was not out of order in the slightest. We left. She started to apologize, stating that she didn't intend to offend. She stepped on my foot! There was no reason for her to come between me and the wall- it was aggressive. Very lucky that I am a woman with a lot to lose and a God I respect. She lost the company a lot of money tonight. She could have made more in this 30 minutes than the made today. But I'm glad she will close on time. read more

I just wanted to mention that in the same day I returned to the store to grab a few things for ourselves that we missed after and witnessed the exchange that lead to the cruel review below with the picture attached. The employee in that photo IS a major part in our great experience at this establishment. My husband and I are a very black presenting couple (my husband there with a durag on his head and all while in a very affluent side of town, iykyk). This woman was nothing but complementary and kind to us, explaining how the bagging process worked, chatting back and forth about herbs with my husband who is an enthusiast of sorts and she even assertively gave him a blessing calling him and "herbalist" just out of her own good will. I am sorry that she had to have somebody treat her that way and I wish had understood the context of the loud exchange they were having at the time as I would have spoken up in her defense immediately while I was there. She is so kind and very knowledable She helped me pick out some teas and supplements to help me. She is so professional too. Today was my first time at this location, and it surpassed my expectations. The team that worked today was so helpful when it came to questions about which products were best and even offering samples of their seamoss (the strawberry basil lime was a 10/10). The store was smaller than the other location but I actually liked that. One of the ladies even played the sound bowl a couple of times, they had incense burning, dozens of Himalayan salt lamps, crystals, an AMAZING herbal selection as well as teas.. honestly it was a vibe.
