We asked them to find a home for us to buy while we prepared our home for sale. Moxie realty was unable to find one home to show us during the entire contract period which was over a month. When my husband and I found a home for sale on our own during the weekend our home went on sale, our moxie realtor could not bother herself to show it to us as she was on vacation over the weekend. Yes, you read that right. She went on vacation the day our home went on the MLS. She was too busy to arrange for someone in her company to show it to us. Additionally, when we brought to her a home we found on our own, she put in an offer on our behalf. Unfortunately, she screwed up and stated it was a va loan instead of a conventional loan. In a sellers market, va loans are not competitive as they require more stringent inspections. We lost out on this home even though we were the highest bidder. The broker stated that we didn't lose out because of the Moxie realtor, but because the other bidder knew the selling agent. The best part of this whole fun fest was when the owner/broker yelled at me when we told her we would not be repairing anything on the home we sold since we had 2 backup offers and it was a sellers market. Our garage door stopped working during the weekend we sold our home. Instead of representing our interests and backing up our decision, she raised her voice and berated us as she thought the deal would fall through. We forwarded a tape of her interaction with us where she raised her voice to a competitive company who now uses this as an educational tool on what not to do to your client- Their annual Ethics class. The broker/owner offered me $4k to sign a nda-non disclosure agreement to keep my mouth shut on their horrible business ethics, but decided my freedom of speech was worth more. If you want a great realtor, contact Tara Biesboer in New Braunfels. She helped us find our current home and executed the purchase without any problems. Avoid Moxie Realty at all cost.

As an experienced real…read moreestate investor, attorney, and agent, I have run across very few people as incompetent and lazy as Jason Huval, who runs Central Metro. He is frequently unavailable, and his general advice every time we worked for him or encountered an issue that needed him to step in, was to simply give more of my commission to the other agent so they could do it instead. It was ridiculous. We would run into issues getting correct information for transactions due to Jason and Vito and other staff giving inconsistent information or being generally unavailable. My lenders also disliked working with them. When I got a complaint lodged against me because an opposing agent was furious that I had left her a bad review due to her incompetent behavior throughout the transaction, Jason told me to gather all of my info to respond. Jason then, being too lazy to write the response as he is supposed to, simply dropped me as an agent because writing a 3 page response is just too much work for Jason. You see, that is what Jason does. He ignores phone calls for nearly a week, then tells you to just pay the other side off (because it's my money, not his, so he doesn't care). He lazily has you do the work while he collects his dues so he can focus on his property management company, but if he is asked to do something he doesn't have the time. I then wrote a response and was able to respond to the complaint. There are PLENTY OF OTHER 100% COMMISSION agencies out there that are cheaper and provide better support. Check those ones out. One I spoke to even remarked to me that he knows Jason and that Jason stole their entire business model.

No It was during one of my initial conversations with Mark that I expressed how important it was to me that my loan was serviced with a reputable provider and that I worried about it getting sold and causing me issues down the line.  I had done my previous mortgage loan through Wells Fargo and since it was a large bank they managed my mortgage loan and it was really smooth. Unfortunately, I had heard horror stories from friends and coworkers who didn't go through large banks and had their loans sold only to experience issues down the line. Mark assured me that mortgage loans almost always were sold and that it wouldn't cause issues for me. He was 100% wrong. My loan was sold shortly after we purchased the home and Mark or someone from his team wrote down our address incorrectly on the paper work. This caused our mortage paperwork to be mailed to our neighbor. I almost missed my first mortgage payment because the information on how to pay was only included in the mail that had been incorrectly sent to my neighbor. I had to spend several hours on hold to track down what had happened to my paperwork and retrieve my account number. I thought I had it all corrected and now yearly a year later I had to spend 10 hours on the phone with the mortgage provider becuase they incorrectly dispersed my property taxes to the wrong account because of that initial paperwork that was incorrectly filled out during the loan transfer. We made it clear with Mark, we did NOT want to deal with our loan being sold to a horrible loan service provider. Lo and behold, it was, and it's caused us a lot of pain. With so many lending people to work with, I would not recommend Mark. Find someone else.
