we discovered this gem in Winter Park one day because all the other restaurants seemed so fancy and crowed and I didn't want to deal with them. we passed the Vintage vault and their outdoor table and saw they had a sandwich menu as well. the owner is a lovely man, old school and honest. he loves wine and sharing it. we both got sandwiches and a glass of wine and it was the best of food and drink we could have gotten for a most fair price. we were so happy to go back again this year and eat there again. the chicken sandwich is the best and if I wasn't worried about cholesterol I would go for the grilled cheese. He gives a taste of the wine before he pours and his pour is generous. best place on the avenue for sure.

First off, I want to give a HUGE thank you to the Cooper's Hawk Team for making my birthday feel so…read morespecial. My friend treated me to a birthday lunch this week and when we got to the table, the staff had a birthday card waiting for me! How thoughtful! We came during happy hour and decided to try a few small plates and drinks. The Egg Rolls are a must! They were packed with flavor and a variety of ingredients. My friend especially loved the shrimp. We also tried the quesadillas and sliders on the happy hour menu. Both dishes tasted incredible! Sadly, though the happy hour has half priced apps, the plates are also half sized. They were absolutely delicious, but the dishes felt overpriced for the portion size. As for drinks, I tried the sangria flight. I wasn't expecting such a full portion size and was pleasantly surprised with that. I did, however, only find 2 of the 4 drinks to be especially tasty. I wouldn't order that flight again, but would be interested in their wine offerings. I loved the low lighting in the space as it set such a calm and laid back mood. Overall, I enjoyed my experience and especially loved the food! Totally recommend.

To my dismay, they were out of the Arancini so I went with the Tempura Shrimp instead, which were very tasty. Since my table was sharing multiple apps I wanted an entree on the lighter side. The Soup & Salad Combo was perfect! I thoroughly enjoyed both. Jasmine, our server, was another shining aspect of the night. She created a feeling of comradery and adeptly met all our needs. Hope to be served by her again. 2) Sunday Brunch & Bubbles- Enjoyed my Bloody Mary, but the Breakfast Gnocchi Carbonara was too soupy for my taste. The Brisket Hash is much better. I'll stick with that dish in the future.

Stopped in on a friend's recommendation and this place immediately earned its keep. Small shop,…read moredeep bench. The kind of selection where you can tell someone actually curates instead of just filling shelves. Dana knows her wines. Full stop. She lined up six different recommendations and every single one stood on its own. No filler pours, no "this one grows on you" nonsense. The Vermentino was crisp and stupidly easy to enjoy, and the Ca' Montebello was a standout. Balanced, interesting, and gone way too fast. The vibe is relaxed, welcoming, and refreshingly unpretentious. You can taste, ask questions, and actually enjoy the process without feeling rushed or talked down to. If you're deciding between this spot and the competition down the street, take the hint and come here.

Vibe: About one block from the beach, this place is hidden on the main road. Nice and cozy, there was still plenty of seating and for our group. Locals and regulars kept stopping by to speak with the owner and check out the wines available (or say hello to her pup). You can tell this is definitely a great place to kick back and relax with a good glass of wine. Wine: There was a very good selection of wines available. Reds, whites, rose, and even a few beers, there was something for everyone. My wife and I had a glass of white wine from New Zealand. The wine was perfect. Service: We met Dana the owner and were extremely well taken care of! She was knowledgeable with the wines and extremely happy to with anyone who walked in. Overall this place was perfect for a quick glass of wine off of the beach or a laid back hangout with locals. I would HIGHLY recommend everyone give this place a try!
