WIne presentation to train audience to become "new sommeliers" by Marshall Bass

Tim's Wine Market is a joy to work with. I am not very knowledgeable about wines and had to create and educational wine tasting for the Central Florida Fruit Society at Leu Gardens. Our sommelier, Marshall Bass, was in Scotland and the wines had to be available in both places. Tim helped me with tasting glasses for the in-person event, and an employee worked with Marshall sourcing wines. Tim shipped wines around the country delivering in time for the virtual aspect of the wine presentation. It wasn't easy, but I always felt like I was in excellent hands. @Tim - Thank you for helping make a very successful event.

This is our favorite local bar. David is amazing and always makes the perfect wine recommendations. Anytime we have questions about wine he readily answers and I don't know anyone more knowledgeable! We usually order a charcuterie board and some flat breads to go along with our drinks and always enjoy ourselves.

Not quite a wine cellar, but almost that type of store which is very fitting considering they sell wine and only wine. The lighting and simple floor pattern were warm characteristics of the shop overall and inviting as I examined their extensive wine collection. I enjoy a glass of vino every now and again, but am not a professional wine taster or buyer. I was thoroughly impressed with what I saw though. The wines were efficiently separated in rows by color and genre. Small tags displayed the price along with the year in case you couldn't read it on the bottle. Both rooms were filled with varying brands and levels of wine. I saw some pretty pricey bottles along with more everyday ones. I did notice a shelf entirely devoted to Champagne and sparkling wines. They even had a $199 bottle of the infamous brand Cristal. They sell Tim's Wine Market T-shirts for $14.95 along with glasses if you don't have a set of your own. They also have a wine/chill well that swirls about so you can chill your bottle before leaving. The associate told me that it's always kept at 35 degrees Fahrenheit. If you have a friend who loves a good bottle you might want to sign them up for the Wine of the Month Club. You can pick up each month's flyer at the store and read all about their selections. They offer neat facts and feature recipes that pair well with their wines. Very clever!

You can tell the owners put love into every detail including picking their wines locally and internationally. You can stop by any day of the week, load money on a card and taste 16 different wines from a self serving tap. My personal favorites were Rioja, Sangue Di Giuda and the Chardonnay. The Rioja is similar to Cabernet Sauvignon, but it also has a fruity character. If you love Cabernet but are also looking for the dominant cherry flavor, this is the perfect wine for you. The Sangue Di Giuda, which means "Blood of Judas", is more of a deep, slightly sparkling and delectably sweet red wine. Chardonnay is my go to when I want a nice glass of wine after work. Although it typically has fruit flavors, it's a dry white wine. It pairs perfectly with seafood or baked chicken. We purchased a bottle of Lumbrusco and we sat and enjoyed the atmosphere and great conversation with the owner. They were right, they made us feel at home. We brought our wine glasses out back, sat on Adirondack chairs, & watched the sunset. It could either be romantic or a great party spot. The site also had multiple event spaces, including a speakeasy! You open a mirror & a beautifully decorated large room with sunlight pouring in was there. They had events such a karaoke there regularly. The main wine bar is eco conscious. Many wines were on tap to save on glass bottles. Their bottled wine also consciously use less glass, but still have enough to preserve the flavors of the wines. I personally loved the violet delight red blend. It has a grape in it that was previously thought to be extinct! The winery is picky about how their grapes are sourced as well to fit into their eco views. They had another red based off a doggo, but I forgot the name. It was my second favorite. I highly recommend starting with a flight. The staff is very confidently knowledgeable & an overall blast to be around. They also have charcuterie boards & PeterBrooke chocolates available for purchase. The owner stopped by to say a friendly hi. It felt like anyone who entered instantly became a friend. Their wines will still be sold in other locations, & the processing location is still there.

Want a crisp Sancerre from the Loire Valley? Got it. Looking for a cult California Cab that's almost impossible to find? They've got multiple vintages on the shelf. Rare allocations, library wines, small-production gems -- somehow they have them all, and at prices that usually beat everyone else. The beer aisle is just ridiculous (in the best way). Huge craft beer selection, imports from Belgium, Germany, Japan, you name it, plus all the local favorites and seasonals. The spirits section is equally insane -- top-shelf bourbon, hard-to-find Japanese whisky, mezcal, rum, gin, you could spend an hour just staring at the options. And then there's the humidor. Beautiful walk-in with a terrific selection of premium cigars -- from everyday favorites to limited editions that made me do a double-take. The staff is genuinely knowledgeable and friendly without being pushy. They'll happily geek out with you about natural wines or help you pick the perfect bottle for a gift in two minutes flat. If you love wine, beer, spirits, or cigars, this place is basically Disneyland. I always leave with way more than I planned (zero regrets). Total Wine & More has ruined me for regular liquor stores forever -- and I'm totally okay with that! I'm sorry, I was too busy perusing the extensive selection to take pictures, just go and see for yourself.
