The bar is unique and provides a great experience every time you go. If the speciality cocktails aren't your thing, they feature numerous drafts, whiskeys, and wines as well. We went last night, Friday night, to get a beer and wind down from the work week. As we were walking in the music was loud and obnoxious, either grunge or acid rock, I don't know, but I made the comment that maybe it's not as bad inside. I was wrong, it was loud and obnoxious music. We decided to try the peanut butter porter which was very tasty and smooth. We sat down to drink it but the music was so irritating we drank it fast because we could not relax. We chose not to eat or buy another beer. We would have opted to go outside but again, it was even louder. My suggestion to management, please play music that doesn't overpower talking, isn't blasted outside, and maybe add some large TVs for sports. You missed a huge opportunity to show the FIFA games. Overall I love their beer, but not enough to put up with the terrible music. Do better. Beer is 5 stars Ambiance is 2 stars

It's a popular place, so the noise level gets up there. Our server, Shenica, was a pro, flawlessly meeting our needs with vibrancy. She made sure our long table was never overloaded with unnecessary clutter. Her knowledge and guidance were precise and valuable. Not everyone in our party went with the MD menu. A downside was late pizza delivery for those who ordered it. The rest of us were well into our meals by the time pizzas finally arrived. Apologies and updates were provided, though. Another fail was the MD meatball appetizer (Albondigas). Disappointment rolled into a ball. Bland, dry meat. Nuts and sauce provided only mediocre flavor. First bite of Pork Pappardelle was a bit salty, but more savory balanced as I continued on. Finished the entire dish. Sticky Toffee Cake was warm, spongey goodness. The balsamic reduction was not a reduction - it was practically straight balsamic vinegar that pooled on the bottom and soaked the chips. Couldn't eat them. The mustard with the pretzel was great though. The burgers were a mess, and were not even patties - just chunks of ground beef held together with cheese. And it didn't taste like a burger.
