Coffee mead

This place is amazing. The dark interior and exterior is unapologetically unique. In a pool of amazing bars along Mills Ave This place holds its own. They mainly serve mead, but have a small menu of beer and wine. The meads are very unique so I'd give them a try even if you've tried mead before and not liked it. Everyone raves about the Leche, but my favorite is the limequet. I'd recommend a flight if its your first time. You order at the bar or through the app and service has always been pretty speedy.

Zymarium was SO good. Super cozy, super stylish (gold + black everywhere), and such a welcoming vibe. The staff was amazing and explained everything really well, and the owner even came out to talk about how he makes the meads and which ones are limited vs. always available, loved that personal touch. We did a mead flight and honestly loved it, but the mead aged in a Brazilian wood barrel absolutely blew me away. Like... dangerously delicious. They also have cool merch, and you can tell a lot of care went into every detail of the place. 10/10, will absolutely go again and you should too!!

Zymarium is my favorite bar/brewery/meadery in the Orlando area, heck probably the state. I've been going their since they first opened a few years ago and I still love it as much as ever. The owners are almost always there, Joe and Ginger, and they are really friendly and routinely chat with customers and go above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome. If you've had mead before, this is some of the best mead in the world. They're ranked extremely high on Untappd and they make both standard meads as well as the zero-water super meads that are in the same league as Schramms, Pips, Superstition, etc. If you've never had mead before, this is a great place to learn about it and try out a lot of different styles. They have straight honey meads with all different varietals of honey so you can see how much that impacts the flavor. They have fruited meads, session meads, and even some beers and wines if you need something different. If the mead isn't enough, the atmosphere is the best of any venue I've been in anywhere in the world. Truly the most amazing decor and ambiance around. You truly feel like you're in a private space with just you and the mead and some friends.

My boyfriend and I came here for a date night on a Friday. We weren't sure what to expect but we wanted to try something new/different. Neither of us have had mead before, so we got a flight to share. The happy hour included $5 off flights (they had other specials as well mon-Fri until 6pm). We liked some of the flight samples and didn't like others, but either way it was a fun way to try something we haven't had before. It was dark inside with lights and a nice ambiance for a date night. They don't have much as far as food options go- some light snacks. We'd definitely come back for a pre dinner Bev!

So about a year later this place is still providing great service and now Award Winning mead. They added some holiday flair to their décor the space. I was here specifically to try the coquito flight. Well it certainly did not disappoint! Traditional ..yum. Chocolate ...tasty but the Ube was my favorite. What a great flavor combination twist !

We love Zymarium! So happy a legit Meadery is in Orlando! Their product is passionately crafted, taking pride in the ingredients they source. They usually are a very popular place when we're there so try and get there early to get a good spot. The interior design makes it feel like an elevated experience. We take guests who visit the Orlando area or perfect for a special date night! Service is efficient since you order at your table or seat and the bring you your beverages. My favorite is the house coquito!

Before getting into the details, know this from their website: "We have a big private parking lot @ 1021 Lake Highland Dr." Then, maybe the only detail you need to know is get the Florida Lychee. Yes, it is that good. But more seriously, they have an amazing number of choices to enjoy. Service is great and for Halloween the place was super decked out which made it even more fun.

Such a great meadery that is modern with trendy flavors. Being at other meaderies that were more traditional, I prefer this one above all else! Got some samples of the ones that really interested me and they were all great but had to land on the Ube seasonal Slushies because I couldn't get a sample of that unfortunately. I am glad I committed to a glass of it because it was refreshing and delicious. Definitely a dessert in a cup and more balanced than the Ube noir, which I was informed it was super sweet and super dark Ginger, part owner, was so sweet and informative about everything foodie, Mills50 and her Meadery. Ria and Alex were also meadtenders that night and can tell they like their jobs and enjoy being there. Such a nice environment to be surrounded by. Thank you Ginger for explaining your whole concept of your meadery and the excellence that you bring to it. Nice to know that you have awesome events like having a bee keeper educational seminars and honey makers to share their knowledge. They have great space for events and a nice outdoor area. What a pot of honey gold they have here If you have tried other meaderies or curious about honey made alcohol, I would say you must stop by here and give this one a shot!

Cool spot! I love mills, minus the lack of crosswalks to go back and fourth but, the options are awesome! This spot did not disappoint! The ambiance is super cool and what they did with the space was brilliant. They even have an event space in the back that was being rented out for D & D! Super cool! The mead is really good and there are many options! I did wish that the flights were smaller so that you could pay less. Sounds crazy but they do a full or a half and you can buy 5 halves as a flight but it's not at flight price. It's at the halves price. I'd rather an option for 2-3 ounce pours to try many of that makes sense. Then I can order a half or full glass after my sampling. The award winning very sweet Ube Noir was so interesting. I kept saying it smelled like a yankee candle! An easy sipper that ain't heavy is definitely the Ohi! We did not partake in any snacks but, we should have grabbed a bottle! Maybe offer a discount on bottles to those who spend a certain amount? I also enjoyed the gingersnap. I was not a fan of the bourbon vanilla, it did not taste like vanilla at all. SWARM was also good.

I'm not a HUGE mead fan but always enjoy what i try here. I've done the flight and love the lychee drink they have. I enjoy the inside alot and there's lots of space

Our order: Mead flight (server's choice: Miel de Miel, Florida Lychee, Limequat, Endless Black Currant, and Little Econ River) The Review: It is not every day that something is on draft for those of us who are gluten-free. Mead is a gluten-free, honey-based fermented (and alcoholic) beverage. I really enjoyed the lighter options: Miel, Lychee, and Limequat, so I'd love to explore that side of the menu. The ambiance inside of Zymarium was cool, dark, and magical, lending to an ethereal mead experience. I had never tried mead, but after this visit, I am certainly excited to come back and try more things.

LOCAL REVIEW: Zymarium Meadery is a cozy place with a chic, low-light interior. The customer service is very good as the servers are happy to educate guests about mead. There are enough options to leave you coming back to try more! The location is easy to find, but it does not seem to have dedicated parking (unless I missed it). There is a parking lot but it seemed more like it is for Hawkers next door. Be prepared to park there or look for street parking. What I enjoyed most was that the menu is easy to understand thanks for an explanation from the servers. I have visited twice and they are consistent in their explanation. They also seem happy to let you browse the menu yourself or make suggestions. The space is large but the seating is cozy. We loved the velvet seats and beautiful lighting. It's a great place to enjoy unique mead flavors and catch up with friends/family. The atmosphere makes you feel like you should be more dressed up, but I visited once looking very casual (athleisure) and I did not feel any judgment for it. There is even a secret space in the back of the room, somewhat hidden. There was an event that booked it while we visited and we couldn't even tell it was there. It looked like a cool space! On my two visits, my friends and I have enjoyed: - Ube Mead - Very sweet and slightly carbonated. The Ube flavor really shines through. I loved it! But it was too sweet for some. - Lychee Mead Slushy - Delicious! A tropical, honey flavor. - Endless Black Current - More similar to wine, but the black current flavor really comes through. - Brood Coffee - At first sight, a little odd that a coffee flavored beverage is a golden yellow. But when you smell it and taste it, the coffee flavor is definitely there. Less sweet, but you can still taste some of the honey mead flavor. My only reason to knock off a star is because I wish there were some little bar snacks. The mead is nice to sip on, so I wished there were some little snackies to munch on too. Thankfully Mills is not in short supply of food though, so this Meadery is in the perfect location to complement a night out around Mills.

My husband loves mead, so when I saw Zymarium one day on my way home from work, I knew we had to try it! Zymarium is a stand alone structure in the Mills 50 district of downtown Orlando. Parking can be a bit of a challenge but they do have a larger designated parking lot close by. The interior is very sleek in mostly black with some gold light fixtures. Once you enter, you are warmly greeted and welcomed to take a seat wherever you choose. When you're ready to order, you may do so via the QR code on the table or by going up to the bar. The mead offerings are plentiful and made in house. You are welcome to bring in your own food, but they do have a small charcuterie box that you can order as well. My husband chose a flight of five meads and fell in love with the Endless BlackBerry so we purchased a bottle. I don't drink, but they had a handful of non-alcoholic offerings to choose from and I enjoyed the ambiance and friendly staff. We'll definitely be back!

Bar backdrop made to look like honeycombs. Super cool.

Three Hands, asked Cody, what's up with the three hands. He said, there is just the two of us and it is great to have a third hand. And that makes so much sense. If you visit Three Hands, the first thing you will notice is the Bob Ross theme. Because he is everywhere, including on the TV. And when I say Bob Ross is everywhere, he is as prevalent as the honey combs. The MEAD: Not for the faint of Tart 14% ABV... oh yes .... this is delicious, the slightly tart cranberries balance out the sweetness of the mead Honey N Apples 11% ABV... this is a Cyser and not what I was expecting. I was thinking apple pie, but I got just great mead flavor. Just a tad boozy. You down with OBT? 8% ABV... yeah, you know me. This mead to me is perfect. Not too sweet and not boozy. Yummmm Clermont Cooler 10% ABV... tastes like a citrus nectar. Sweet, but really good. S.O.B. 8% ABV... this is a spicy orange mead. Great orange flavor and just slightly spicy. I loved it! FIRE!!!! Berries from the Bog 14% ABV... this is tart and it slapped me in the face. In my opinion, needs to be really cold to taste the most awesome. I can honestly say I like the mead here better than any other place in Florida. I met some wonderful folks here and I definitely will be returning.

I'd heard about this place and was curious to try it, though I hesitated a bit since my husband isn't a wine drinker- but good news: they offer beer as well! Tha space is open, airy, and cozy at once. You can tell the design and decor we're thoughtfully planned with guests in mind- even the bathroom was impressive. Since it was on a Saturday afternoon, the crowd was light, but a few passionate regulars were there, just as enthusiastic as the proud owner, Cody. To make our experience even better, Cody shared the history of mead- one of the oldest drinks in the world, wine made from honey. Who would've imagined honey could be transformed this way? Their selection ranges from sweet to extra dry. I tried two of their dry options: Not for the Faint of Tart, a berry-forward blend, and Almost Bone Dry, made purely of honey. Both were delicious, refreshing, and not sweet at all. My husband gave in and tried the SOB and was surprised by how much he enjoyed it, especially for someone who doesn't drink wine. We truly loved our experience at Three Hands Mead. It's officially on our list of must-stop places whenever we're in Plant City.
