Dog on lake, large green areas.

This campground is located on a beautiful lake, large sites, concrete pads. Lots to do in Grapevine, amazing restaurants.

they overcharge. they put in a damage fee and the charge you a cleaning fee for a dirty cabin. the bathroom was disgusting. they charge to clean their own cabins??? isn't that what the room charge is for???? stay away from these run down cabins

Very easy check-in process. We were escorted to our site by the camp host. Our site was right on the lake and AMAZING. We were able to sit and watch the sunset over the lake from our camp chairs. They had a very cool playground with a "zip line" that we got a kick out of. We really wished we would've been able to stay for much longer but will definitely be back.

If you want to be a part of the elite "campers" that look down on other human beings that can't afford a 300K + rig, THIS IS YOUR PLACE. Although I will say, the only thing that divides you from the normal people is that you are willing to pay double for a subpar campground. The employees of this campground are obviously the hypocritical type. We are full time travels/creators and just stopped through to visit our parents staying at the park. From the time we arrived in our "Box truck conversion RV," (our build vehicle for our YouTube channel though we also do have a newer class A motorhome), we were treated rudely purely because they thought we were poor lower class citizens.. We never did any business with them, and never will. In all our travels we have never seen this type of blatantly obvious elitism, and we cross paths with wealthy and famous often. Look for the full details and review in our YouTube channel. (Ben and Brandi) P.S. The other campers that we had interactions with were very pleasant. In the 5 hours our custom built rig was sitting there, we had 3 different people come up and talk about how cool it was and asking questions about the build process...

We live nearby but wanted to get away for the weekend and do some fishing. We stayed in a cabin right in front of the water. It's always been challenging to book a cabin because it's always full; however, we got lucky and was able to book one this time. The location is very nice and loved the waterfront view, ducks, BBQ grill, and nice patio. The patio has nice rocking chairs and a big picnic table. The AC works great, there is a full size fridge, pots, utensils, plates, coffee maker, toaster, etc. There is a queen size bed and also a pullout futon bed in the living area. What we were not happy about was that the front office said there was free wifi and where our cabin was, we should've received the strongest signal; however, we didn't have ANY signal at all. They stated it was most likely due to the large family that was staying next door that was "hogging" up the internet. Also, the hot water doesn't last very long so if there are multiple people needing to shower, good luck! The plumbing isn't that great either. The water in the toilet fills up very slowly, so you have to wait awhile between flushes. And If you want ice, make sure to buy a bag of ice because there's not an ice maker in the freezer. I would stay here again due to the beautiful location.

This campground was fabulous. Right on grapevine lake. Beautiful campground with lots of grass and space between sites. They even had FREE pizza on Friday night. Nice bicycling distance to the historic downtown which had so many different and nice restaurants and shops plus a 7 day a week farmers market that was full of fresh delicious fruits, veggies and even pumpkin ice cream. About 4 miles away is a central market which was new to us non-Texans. Little Whole Foods in steroids. Spectacular. Also there is a great playground and a yacht club with some good size boats.

This is a nice quiet campground on Lake Grapevine. The restrooms/showers are clean and nice. It is paved with level pads and has good security. A gate house during the day which insures only registered guests come and go and an automated security gate for after hours. Biking to downtown historic Grapevine is totally do-able...or just around the campground for the exercise. Reasonable rates. Only downside is not all sites are full hook-up and NO cable. However you can wiI-FI throughout the park. Nice little campground and seems to be making some upgrades for the near future. Texas Outside Rating: 9.1 | TL: 9/8.5*/10 | Woodall's: 5-W |

If you can get a spot here, just do it. City owned and first class. Spacious spots, super clean with many lake views.

I was super impressed with this park! There's a gate to the entrance, which is open as of right now…read more8-8pm(sunset). After the gate is closed if you need to be let out, you have to call the police. But there's so much to do here! Not just the swimming area! There's a hiking trail, playground and walking trails. Beautiful views and plenty of space to social distance yourself. The trails are available for no fee as far as I could tell, but the swimming area near WhoaZone is $5. They do not take cash, only debit/credit card. The swimming area has a playground and picnic areas. I think there's a spot to cast your kayaks off over there too, but I stayed near the beach and didn't explore anything else. I saw vehicles with kayaks going over on the other side. If you have water shoes, I'd say bring them and a beach umbrella as there's no shade. The sand isn't too uncomfortable to lie in, there's just cigarette butts here and there. But I definitely recommend visiting for the day or even camping if you're into it!

Someone recommended this to me as a "sandy beach". It is a beach, and there is some sand, but the…read moreshore is probably a 50/50 mix of packed dirt and sharp pebbles. OUCH! The rock bottom extends out a couple of yards into the water, where it turns to clay. For swimmers, the rockiness is less of an issue - get past the rocks and swim/float your heart out, but the rocks along the shore make it significantly less enjoyable for babies. Running along the shore and splashing in the shallow water is painful without water shoes. For a true SANDY BEACH, check out Twin Points Park at Eagle Mountain Lake or Little Elm on Lake Lewisville instead. Twin Points is nicer, if you're deciding between the two. Pros: it's a pretty spot, with nice views. Plenty of parking - $5 per car. CREDIT/DEBIT ONLY. There is a dock for jumping off (which we didn't notice until we were leaving, sadly!). Not very crowded on a Saturday in August. Pretty clean, other than the bathrooms. Alcohol permitted (or if not permitted, certainly not regulated). Days swimming at the lake are SO MUCH FUN! Aside from the rocky shore, the only big negative was how gross the bathrooms were. We were there pretty early, so clearly they aren't cleaned daily. Also, the whoa zone is SO EXPENSIVE!!!! It looks fun but I cannot wrap my head around the fact that people pay that much to be there. It's $22 a person for ONE HOUR! Mon-Thurs they also offer a $50 all day pass. For our family of 7, I consider that cost prohibitive. Overall, it was a fun day at the lake, but Meadowmere Park is just not the best DFW has to offer.

One of the best baseball fields to play at in my opinion out of several other locations we've been to. Covered bleacher seating for guests and room for your own chairs if you choose to sit closer to the baseline areas on each side (home and visitor). Clean bathrooms and just overall, the park areas are well kept. Amazing playground for kids/players to hang out. Fields are labeled to find easier. Amazing concession with fresh grilled food you can order (burgers, sausage on a stick, etc). We also had the opportunity to visit and play at the Softball Complex fields. Very nice fields and a batting cage area before the main entrance (on the small parking lot side). At these fields the sun comes in way more even with some of the covered bleacher seating (Bring your portable fans, stadium chairs for convenience, small cooler, etc.). Not as much room for your own chairs at these fields like the other baseball fields. Some of our team parents sat behind the last row of bleachers, near the trash cans so it was kinda tight. Plus when people walk back and forth it can get more crowded. There are also small areas with turf next to the bleachers that is good for bringing blankets to sit/lay (good area for smaller kids, teens and even adults if you like the picnic style type of seating/vibe.

The first time we came last year, they gave me the shortest horse because I was the shortest rider there! I rode Ziggy, and I was already attached. He's so cute-- I am a big David Bowie fan, so I have nicknamed him,"Mr. Stardust" LOL The first time we came, it had been some years since I had ridden a horse, and the same for the boyfriend. We did the easy walking trail ride-- this year we did the intermediate trotting trail and I asked to ride Ziggy again-- what can I say, I love him.. Although we were initially nervous for reservation cancellations due to the rain and being pushed back a day, they still had great communication as to whether or not we'd be able to have our trail ride. The respond via text message-- so be aware that if you call, they might not answer. The only time they DO call is when you're booking the reservation. It had been raining on and off and so they said the first time they were checking our specific trail, was when we were actually on it. We didn't get to trot as much as I wanted, but it was a little squishy in some areas. The staff is friendly and even take your photo at the end! My thing is that it is very hard to hear them talk when you're on the trail ride. It would be beneficial for them to carry a microphone or something.

Throughout the ride you will be going very slow and will be in the forest for about an hour. They charge you $1 per water bottle and certain staff have terrible attitudes.
