I was looking for a place to stay that was reasonably priced and was close to my family in Lewisville. This RV park is out in the country, but within 5 miles of a Walmart and several other places you'd want to have near you to eat or buy other types of supplies. The park over all is quiet, except for quite a few barking dogs, especially late at night when it's very irritating, and an occasional train will go by and sometimes it is very loud. I'm renting the space monthly so all utilities are paid for one price, and it's reasonable. The previous owner was great, and working very hard to make this park better, but the current owner is just interested in money. Don't pay any attention to the pool picture, there is no pool. Wi-Fi is great sometimes, and doesn't even work others. There is a laundry facility available, which is free, but full of old machines. My spot is fairly level, so it wasn't difficult to get set up. There are a lot of things that aren't complete and I doubt any real improvements will ever be made. Overall I give this place 2 stars mainly because it still looks terrible even after being here for over a year, and I can't really spend any time outside because of either barking dogs or because there's no real patio here. Whoever set this place up originally did not know what they were doing when it comes to locating sewer, water and electrical points. Bottom line this place is just a dive. I have spent time in over 300 RV parks, and this one is way down at the bottom of my list of desirable places. If you're staying for just A little while like overnight or something this place isn't that bad but if you want to stay here long term I'd find somewhere else, and there are a lot of other places in this area that are better than this one. read more

The Ranch at Rhome - Entrance - RV Parks Near Me - Haslet, Texas

Manager is very helpful and checks that the park is clean. Laundry is included which is a big plus. Dogs are welcome and dog owners clean up behind their dogs or get them reminded which is great, so the park stays clean. There is a lot green area behind the outside row to walk your dog or you can go just down the road. It is close to the main road of 287 but far enough away not to hear the traffic. I would go there at anytime again. Great place for the area and for the price. read more

And we all know how defensive we are about our kids. As you are probably aware many parks are not kid friendly. THE RANCH AT RHOME RV PARK tries to accommodate the growing population in the Haslet/Rhome area and allows kids. Our management team has a responsibility to ensure there is safety enforced. I even passed this information on to Sebastian when we were staying there. Nothing fictitious about a police report. I had to call myself because Barbara's (management) phone was not working properly and even once she got over to the man's RV he still was acting crazy. Thank the Lord the police showed up quickly as my children and neighbors child were scared to death. So please stop trying to sugar coat what goes on there. Unless you dealt with it personally like I did, you really can't speak on this issue. I understand you are not happy with the negative review but as you can see I don't often go out of my way to post reviews but for the safety of other families looking to stay here I feel it is important to speak up. The on site managers are polite and helpful. The free laundry is awesome and exceptionally clean and well maintained. The WiFi worked good in our location. I liked the location and we look forward to returning in the fall. It isn't fancy, though, more a no frills park. A down side is that website pictures are not accurate. There is no activity center. No fitness center. Many of the trailers are older. My new car drags on the gravel speed bumps no matter how slow or what angle I try to maneuver over them. We've found it to be a reasonable value for the $525 monthly rent which includes electric, water, trash and sewer, WiFi and free laundry. This place isn't bad if your trying to budget or just staying for a short time. The manager of the property, i believe, makes reasonable requests. Pick up after your pets, watch your children, don't drive so fast through the park where your flipping rocks at other trailers, etc. She's actually an enjoyable woman and helped me and my husband set up our camper and gave helpful tips (we're new). She is very busy around the property so it would seem that she's nosey but i don't believe she is. We've been staying here a few months now and enjoy it. The place could be upgraded, there is no pool or rec room (that I've seen). There's only gravel lots available and were stacked pretty close together. Sometimes if there's too many campers here the power goes out at night. It's very quiet, cheap, and free laundry. read more

We stayed at this RV park for roughly 4 months and could not have had a better experience. The employees and the owner were wonderful and if we ever need to return to an Rv park in the area we'd love to go back and stay here. We have 2 young children so finding a safe, clean but still affordable place is a priority. The owner is very understanding and the whole facility is truly ran by good wholesome people. read more

I lived here as a single mom with a four year old daughter, and our experience could not have been better. I felt safe, welcomed and never had any issues with neighbors or the family who owns the property. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a great place to stay. It's very quiet and peaceful. I love how they set rules and follow them and expect everyone to adhere to the rules. With having a little one who enjoys playing outside, I felt comfortable that they were big on the speed limit and enforcing that rule. Don't break or bend the rules. My daughter lived at this campground the end of December 2019 until March 18, 2020! The camp host Mrs. Barbara and her husband Mr. Roger are so nice, they kept an eye out on her for us! So thankful for their kindness and cleanliness of the campground! Highly recommended! read more

If your coming to stay for a while I would check elsewhere we stayed for 2 months and couldn't be happier to finally leave the place is fairly new the owners are still working on it which isn't a big deal but what we didn't like was we would receive multiple texts and news letters they wouldn't call us for a issue or something they needed to tell us and then told us to basically to stop calling them if we had a question and to only text them we would always get news letters sent to our emails and then after getting it and telling them we got it we would still receive messages daily asking if we got the news letter and they will also tell you one thing then once your there they will tell you that you now can't do that because it's against the rules when we first got there they had a spot open we really wanted and they told me we can't have it wouldn't give us a reason other that my trailer wouldn't fit then let a guy that was already staying there which a much larger or same size trailer move into that spot we wanted after few weeks gone by of it being empty (not a major issue) they will also walk around your site daily take pictures it feels like we where being watched by them at night we've seen one of the owners sitting in his truck waiting for people to pull in to flash his lights at them if he thought they pulled in to fast my list can go on and on but if your passing threw this place wouldn't be to bad but if your staying for a little while like we did then I would keep looking read more
