Called the day before, their daily was already one of the highest in the area. Drove the enxt day... and arrived at 5:09... the 9 minutes was me getting to the office through their unmaintained roads and park. They had done nothing to mitage weather.. .they also do not answer at 5 sharp and do not stick around the office at all. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME IF YOU EXPECT CONCISE GOOD SERVICE. The park is nice but to say free Wi-Fi is an overstatement. It is practically non-existent. Be sure to add the cost of private Wi-Fi to the cost of your stay if you have a budget you are trying to stick to. read more

To say Hooves and Wheels rv park employees are disrespectful would be an understatement. I tried multiple times to get ahold of Lance or Ted Williamson (the owner) in regards to Kristina McKelvey's (office manager) actions, texts, talking about other customer's financial situations and personal info, throwing UPS/FEDEX packages that belong to customers, bad mouthing people she's on the phone with as she has them on mute, criticizing other customers behind their backs because of their religion and beliefs, and so much more. I have never been so disgusted with how a business operates and lack of competence. Do yourself a favor and find a different park! read more

Stay away from this park -- After living here for a little under a year, I can honestly say this park is poorly managed in every way. The only reason we stayed as long as we did, was because of the location in weatherford and my awesome neighbors. Just to name a FEW things -- the horse stables are poorly cared for and the horses are almost always sick, lack of mowing and edging (especially between people in spots) as the grass is now tall enough to hide all of the snakes that come from the back field, no background checks, kids roaming around alone all the time (unsupervised), so much drive through traffic it's suspicious, and an extreme favoritism for new people (it only lasts a few months however). In the last month of my fiancé and I being at the park, there was a change of management, and the same issues got worse, and she seemed to focus on "not speeding" and "all dogs must be leashed" -- oh except for the few people that don't have to leash theirs, including the previous manager. Instead of the real management and maintenance issues here. And then after speaking with the park OWNER himself, I now see that the lack of consideration comes from him directly. I wish I had better things to say, but since this park is already losing business to the new parks nearby, there is good reason for it. Happy camping to all of you! Couldn't put a negative star rate, so put 1. The location is nice, and everything else is horrible. Management is only nice to the people they like. They throw out longterm lot renters due to made up excuses. Most people walk on eggshells and don't say anything for fear of being kicked out. Rec room is a joke. While I was there I witnessed: 1. Horrible treatment of elderly fixed income lot renter 2. Management's friend had an extremely cluttered & tacky lot, yet threw out someone for just a few items in yard after windstorm 3. Threw someone out for their dog barking inside their RV, why? Because management walked up to the RV at night and when they touched the RV the dog started barking. Owner won't do anything about the bad management. If you want nice and friendly - go somewhere else. read more

I stayed at Hooves and Wheels RV Park while in Texas looking at horses. The facilities were neat and clean with everything available and in good working order. I met the owners of the park who were very nice and bent over backwards to assist me in making it easy to place a horse there if I located one. On the day of checkout I ended up running late and called and offered to pay for a late checkout. The owner was very courteous and understanding and refused to take payment for the late checkout. Great location, away from loud interstate noise. Beautiful grounds, with plenty of shade trees. Impeccably clean bathrooms. Friendly folks staying in the park, with each site neat and tidy. Management texted me with a receipt for my stay the next morning, as I'd registered after hours. Best of all, the place was quiet and felt safe. Would highly recommend! read more

Wife and I stayed at the Hooves N Wheels RV Park just south of Weatherford TX in April 2018. We were in the middle of a relocation from out of state to Texas and needed a good RV Park to stay at while we searched for our new home. Stayed in a 33 ft travel trailer. Our experience was very well enjoyed, with zero issues to note during our monthlong stay. The park management was very friendly and accommodating to our needs. At night, the park was quiet despite there being multiple RV's in the park, sometimes almost full to capacity. It's just south of Weatherford, meaning you're close to restaurants, shopping, and just about anything you need within a 30 minute drive. Their rates at the park are reasonably priced and they are pet friendly. We had three dogs, and had no issues with having them there living in our RV with us, even though one of our dogs tends to bark a lot when we leave to run errands. On site laundry room is available, and they also have a rec room for socializing with other folks in the park if that's something you're into. If you are looking for a good RV Park to stay at in the western area of Ft. Worth Texas, I strongly recommend Hooves N Wheels RV Park. Whether for a day, a week, a month, or longer, I think you'll enjoy this place. My wife and I did! read more

NOT animal friendly. I have a service animal and I was turned away because of the breed of my dog. Last I checked it was illegal to turn anyone with a service animal away no matter what their breed. Calling first thing in the morning to the people who certified him as a service animal to see what further steps I can take due to this discrimination! Furious is an understatement. This was a most excellent stay. Loved the horse pasture and the wife thinks the laundry is the best we have ever seen. Nice Level spaces with real grass between rigs. The best showers ever. This place has been well thought out and put together for your customers. Very friendly stall. We will stay here again on our way to East Texas next year. read more

Been here for several months. Campground is quiet and clean. Close to everything in Weatherford. Prices are very reasonable. Owner, employees are nice and willing to make your stay very comfortable. One of the best places I have ever stayed. read more
