On site laundry room is available, and they also have a rec room for socializing with other folks in the park if that's something you're into.

This is a quaint little park that appears to be more for permanent residents than over-nighters (I…read morehear their monthly rate is good). The residents in the park were mostly friendly, the park is very close to many services within Weatherford, the showers are nice (the stalls are very large), and the laundry room has plenty of washers and dryers at very reasonable prices. I gave the park three stars is because their website says that they are pet friendly and I found that not entirely true. After reading the very restrictive/confusing pet rules and the statement that says that management can change the rules at any time, it turns out they are selectively pet friendly. I specifically asked about putting up a small fence when I arrived, my second day there I received a txt asking me to take it down when not in use. I understand from a neighbor that they are concerned about killing the grass, it was mostly dead when I arrived. Be aware that this park will fine you for several different infractions and the park rules are apparently selectively enforced (such as no more than 3 potted plants). I did not have cell service (T-mobile) at this park and the WiFi was awful, I had to go into town to make any calls or send txt messages. It is important to also note that there are very few trees, so if you are going to stay there when it is hot make sure you have light blocking shades for your RV. The spot I was placed in was serious not level and it is also good to know that there are a ton of feral cats on the property (one of the residents feeds them). I did not visit the dog park because it was in a location that appeared to me in the area where private residences are located.

What can I say about the Hooves-n-Wheels RV park that is good? Well they're cheaper than a lot of…read moreparks, but just remember you get what you pay for! They do give a military discount, but if you were in the military and know the strict rules of base housing, be prepared for the same here. The hours state 9:30am to 4:30pm, but what it doesn't state is that the management staff is only in the office from 9:30 to 11:30, and then 2:30 to 4:30, a whole four hours a day, but you are supposed to be able to get a hold of them by phone at any time and they will come help you. That doesn't happen, because they don't answer the phone or a knock on their door unless they feel like it, and they live 50 feet from the office door. The dirt roads didn't bother us too much at first until the first rain and everything turned into a spongy mud that gets everywhere. If you have a motorcycle, better make sure it isn't loud, because just letting mine idle to warm up for less than two minutes was apparently disturbing to others at 10am on a Friday morning! When we moved in the first thing I asked was could we cut a couple of smaller limbs on the tree so that we could extend our awning, and they said "no that would damage the tree and we don't want to do that", so for the whole five months we stayed, we never once got to extend our awning. They do not have cable hookups, because they are broken and it would cost too much to have them repaired, or so we were told by the management. They have WiFi, but it is more than useless! Kept getting kicked off, and if it was connected it was too slow to even check email, dial up would have been better. They claim to have "premium" spots that you can get on a waiting list for if you want to pay more for a little bigger yard area, but when a couple of "premium" spots along the tree line next to the horse pens opened up we were told that we couldn't move our rig over there because the electrical box couldn't handle any more 50 amp trailers due to an overloading condition that would cause the breakers to pop. Well there are three paved spots in the whole park and they are all right there in that corner, but one is for the manager, the other is taken by an extreme long termer, but unless you have a small 30 amp trailer you can't get into the last one due to the electricity being poor on that side of the park. Don't try and improve your living conditions by intruding into the grassy areas of your spot either, we laid a RV patio rug down over our dirt/weeds beside the rig, and were told that we couldn't have it on the grass, which there was no grass under it, only dirt weeds and rocks, but they were going to come and plant grass so that's why we had to pull the rug up and keep walking through the mud to get inside. Overall it was the management style, interactions with them, and the poor road and site quality that led us to take our rig and stay elsewhere. Would not recommend.
