I love the Vine for a good girls' night! Two girlfriends and I wanted to catch up so we met up here. One of my girlfriends had literally just hurt her foot on her way there, and by the time I arrived, the staff had set her up with her foot on a chair with an ice pack on and a good drink. So thoughtful! We are all foodies and everything on the menu looked amazing... so we ordered one of everything! It was all fantastic! Then there was a drink with elderflower and edible glitter that we had to try- so good and so pretty! It's a smaller place, so it's never super loud, even when the bar is packed. I thought I would love this place , but services is service, from the moment we walked in the one actual bartender mentality at work greeted us and told us to sit anywhere, off to a good start, so I thought then he come over. A hazy of boredom on his face took our order, come back and just poured the wine no usual sit to see if it was palatable, lol I'm it's kinda comical. The amazing thing was one of the customers next to me called him out on it , he's said he would perk up but the only costumers he gave a smile or any attention was the two 20 ish girls at the bar,or anyone young , ps the Older people are the real tippers fyi , the wine was good , the guy there bartender was great , but the ginger at one point just stared outside for a good five minutes probably should find a new night gig. Really delicious food! Great vibe but was a bit noisy with the Home Tour group stopping in for a drink. We had the bacon pops appetizer and it was very tasty. Nice crisp bacon with lots of flavor. I had the steak which came with mashed potatoes and seared asparagus. The vegetables were amazing, the mashed potatoes the best I have had and a tender flavorful steak. My husband had the poke and loved it. We had the lava cake, it was good but not on par with the dinner. We will absolutely be coming back to try out the rest of the menu. read more

Always enjoy my time at the vine! A hidden gem of Wilmington. One of my favorite places to enjoy some of the finer wines.

We are exploring our new city for the best venues for wine, and the wife found this one on YELP, of course. So We headed downtown and the drive was fairly easy, and it looks like it can be a challenge if you are coming on a Friday or Saturday evening , so maybe consider Ubering. They have a selection of finger foods and wines that are not your normal fare, Cheese Boards that feed 2-6 people depending on the size, Potstickers etc. I wont go on the Menu is in the photos. We had the pot stickers, they were good, OLive Medley ( Lacking in flavor have been in Seasoned Olive Oil ( and the Olive Oil Store is right next door) We both had a Glass of wine and they seperate their selections by flavor palate, I hd the Cambria Chardonnay which is always a refreshing white and then I switch to the Tandora Malbec, It was Okay. The wife had the Hunky Dory Suav Blanc x2, so she liked it. The place itself is very cute with a great view of the street and the County Courthouse, which is a very beautiful building. We Did like it and the Bartender was good at what he does and they had a taste of Wilmington our, came through. So Fun We will keep looking for "OUR PLACE" but this will be a great go to. I had the chance to come back to The Vine and was very impressed. Great wine bar with a good selection of beer as well. You can sit at the bar or at one of the tables. Wine is by the bottle or by the glass. Very nice selection of wine. The tapas and cheese boards are very good. I love having the food option while enjoying my wine. Since my first review, the olive oil is still there for sale but it appears to be in a different section of the building, with a different entrance. read more

We had two dogs with us so opted to stay outside and were able to grab a table immediately. For the less decisive members of our party, Randy was able to help guide them to some really good wines (some not even on the menu!). Everyone was happy with their drink choices. The vibe at the Vine is cozy. Ella and Dorothy were welcoming and super nice. Living up to its name, their wine selection is extensive, offering an opportunity to try different quality wines. The food dishes nicely complemented our wine selections. My wife enjoyed the pot stickers and the ricotta/honey/carmelized bacon spread. I had the fungio flatbread. Delish. Headed downtown to grab some sushi and this place caught my eye as I drove by. Decided to stop in to check it out and man oh man... I'm so glad that I did! First of all, Mark is absolutely fantastic! Very knowledgeable about their broad wine selection and very welcoming and charismatic. He made our experience phenomenal. The food is literally to die for. Mostly tapas style menu but they do have other delicious entrees to choose from. Their cheese boards are simply amazing and they will pair greatly with their wines. What a weird experience. Everything was great, until we ordered a 2nd bottle of wine and were told, "Sorry, we close at 9 and it's 5 minutes to 9...well, I guess if you drank it fast I could do it." What? A restaurant's closing time tells the patron when they stop seating, not when they stop serving. The 4 of us were dumbfounded. We told the waiter/bartender that we had planned to order dessert also and were surprised and disappointed that we were being cut off unexpectedly. He very reluctantly said he would ask the kitchen if they could put out a couple desserts for us, but then came back and told us that they said no. We canceled our wine order, paid our bill and went to a steakhouse down the street for dessert and a nightcap at their bar. The bartender couldn't believe our story and soon the manager and a server were all discussing our experience with us and each other. All 7 of us incredulous. Went to "The Vine" late yesterday as it has finally opened! It was a favorite of ours before the pandemic so we were excited to settle into the cozy, welcoming atmosphere. Outdoor seating was available but we chose inside: very safely set up with a room divider between a couple tables, distancing at the wine bar and a few random seats. We noshed on small plates (olives, spicy pork wrapped in corn tortilla, pot stickers with a choice of dipping sauce. Randy's recommendations for wine pairing were spot on. The biggest surprise was dessert! A trio of ice creams: key lime, blueberry and blood orange, all with reductions to compliment the flavors. *sigh* So good to be back! read more

This place is amazing! We called last minute to try to get a meat and cheese tray delivered on Christmas Eve for our family who lives in Wilmington. After calling 4 other places and explaining we were in Oklahoma, this place, my 5th call, came through.
