My husband is a great cook and makes Prime Rib for Christmas so he was excited to try their Prime Rib special on Mondays. Unfortunately he was very disappointed in his meal, it was very bland including the aus jus was the worst he has ever had. The baked potato just had a little butter and was so basic it was also a disappointment. I had the short ribs which was ok, but the brussel sprouts while cooked correctly had no flavor. I have been going to the store to purchase wine and take home so I was really disappointed to find out that the wine I enjoy at home from their store would cost me $20 extra to enjoy at their restaurant for their corkage fee. Maybe I shouldn't have expected no or low corkage fee but I have to say I was not happy. I was really hoping that Bridgewater was going to be our go to restaurant close to home but I dont think it will be.

Was looking for a winery, but did not have to look far since this was right up the street from where I was. The staff was very sweet and so helpful, the young man name was Chandler, and I unfortunately was unable to get the young lady's name. For a while, my friend and I were the only ones in there. It's small but cute and quaint. We ordered: * Charcuterie board * 2 types of wine (I do not remember the name) but they were both good lol It's a lovely place! Please visit it ever in Leland, NC!

Grouper, crispy Brussels, and mashed potatoes

We had dinner here Saturday the weekend after Christmas! The restaurant is warm and inviting and the hostess who greeted us was wonderful. We ordered cocktails and wine which was all fine and had the fig prosciutto flatbread to start which was fantastic. I had the grouper as my meal, with mashed potatoes and crispy Brussels, and I wanted to love it, but the grouper had a stronger fish taste to it. The sides were delicious. Grouper is a mild fish so it almost seemed like maybe the fish wasn't very fresh... we also had crème brûlée for dessert. Crème brûlée is one of our favorite desserts and we wanted to love this one, but as we broke into it, we realized it wasn't fully cooked. It was soupy and undercooked. Our server was friendly and nice, took the crème brûlée off our bill, but she could have been slightly more attentive especially being that it wasn't very busy. Overall, we'll return and give it a second try as the rest of the food in our meal was great

What a Great little place and Savannah our Server, was just wonderful. They have some finger foods and flat breads, assorted and some very reasonable priced wines to wines of the caliber of Silver Oak and Caymus. We will be going back to have more wine and food the next time as we had eaten lunch just before we drove over. Very Relaxed atmosphere. 2 Thumbs up!

Meatballs

We wanted to keep things low key and local tonight, so we went to bridgewater with friends for some light fare and wine. We got MUCH more than we bargained for, with a lovely wine tasting to start things off, followed by some amazing food. Hubby and I shared three small plates...the pork belly, crab cake and meatball. They were all noteworthy but the meatballs were by far my favorite. Meatballs can be difficult to make if you don't know what you're doing. Kudos to the chef for knowing EXACTLY what she's doing. Light and well seasoned, they were accompanied by a scrumptious sauce and some ricotta, along with delicious bread to soak up the sauce. Perfection on a plate! Our friends had the flatbreads and were very pleased. The only critique here would be the portions are quite large and it would have been nice if they were told they were each getting two flatbreads rather than the typical one so they could have just ordered one and shared. Not a huge deal because they reheat well but something to note.

My friend and I went the other night to do the complimentary wine tasting. We tried 5 different wines. It was a nice variety of wines. Then we went to the bar area and ordered a charcuterie using a coupon, a couple glasses of wine and also the ahi tuna appetizer. Everything was very good, to include the service. At first, we were the first few people in the place but it eventually picked up. Nice venue for some wine and snacks.

Food is really solid but kind of pricey. Trivia nights on Tuesdays with mike are super fun!

Great selection of wines at very reasonable prices. Small bar but fun spot to have a bottle of wine and a cheese plate.

It was great weather this night, so we opted for an outside table that was in total shade. Very comfortable. Our server came by for drink orders. We had no appetizers this visit and went right into entrees. We tried the Port City Burger, the Gnocchi with chicken, cilantro lime shrimp quesadillas and the salmon tacos. Everything was delicious. The only complaint I would have is that the Salmon Tacos was a bit small. The dish is two small tacos with a side of tortilla chips. There is no salsa, no pico de gallo, no slaw. I was actually sorry that I didn't get an appetizer. I was still a little hungry after I finished. We didn't want any of the dessert offered this time. Again, everything was great. Service, food, atmosphere, outside patio. Just my dish was a little less in size. I will keep that in mind next time we visit. I'm not sure something like this would be changed on the menu, but I still wanted to voice my opinion. Still a great place with a great menu and service. If the weather is good, opt for the patio. It is really nice sitting out there.

My husband's Italian sub was good and he loved the fries - a little different than the usual. We are here on a holiday weekend on Friday at 4:00. It is very cool inside with ac and lots of people are sitting on the covered porch out back. There is a little pond adjacent. I can hear myself talk and my husband even though people are at the bar cheering for the USA Soccer Team. I like it here. It is reasonably priced. People greeted us as we walked in, even holding the door. We'll be back when we drive through again.

We split an appetizer while I enjoyed a flight of their craft beers and ciders, while my mother had a lite lager. Next we split their carnivore pizza - which could have had more meat toppings, other than the bacon bacon bacon. Not that I'm complaining about the bacon, but would have liked more of the other toppings. Service was friendly, but took a few extra minutes for the server/bartender to get to us initially. But service improved thereafter, even after the crowd started coming in. And even with the crowd the volume didn't raise much, making it easy to have a conversation without having to shout. The building itself is structured like a warehouse, but they did great with the interior, I just wish we could see the brew masters at work. 4 out of 5 stars, will definitely bring us back.
