At first glance, the place was packed (at lunchtime). The clientele was older, which isn't the worst thing- as I'm a little older! We sat at a high top in the bar area and Mike was our server. He was super pleasant and accommodating. Mike was the above and beyond kind of server, but the food was not made with any live whatsoever. I ordered a club sandwich with beer batter fries. You eat with your eyes first, and this was very huge and not neatly put together. I could barely eat a half of it and took the rest home. I just wish the service and the food were at the same level.

We had our corvette club meeting here in the private room. Melissa was our waitress for about 50 of us. Margaritas are made from scratch, and two got me a great buzz. Alcohol was plentiful! Had the cobb salad, tasty and fresh. Wished it had some chicken in it, as bacon was the only protein. Had a couple pieces of my friend's pizza loaded with meat. It was also very tasty. Food and drinks came pretty fast considering we had a big group. I will definitely come again. Plenty of parking and everyone was happy.

We had dinner here on a Friday evening in March. I imagine the crowds are much worse in the summer. We had a short wait and then got seated. Our waiter was very good and friendly. He kept up with drinks and our order. We got our food very timely. It was all good. The best part of the experience for me was they had just come out with a Red beer. I love trying red beers and they are not always easy to find. This one was excellent! I dont recall the name but it is only on draft. They do not bottle or can it... which is a bummer. They also have some outdoor seating. Very cool place to go.

Such a good place to go! They have draft beer, they have draft cider, they have cocktails, wine, and even kombucha! Seriously something for everyone. The food menu is also great, from wings to po boys to burgers to pizza. The service is amazing and everyone seems just very friendly and home-like. Definitely recommend!

We have visited Brunswick Beer & Cider on our last 2 visits to Wilmington. We usually stay in nearby Leland, which makes a visit here very convenient. The food & beverage options keep us coming back. We have had sub-par service, which is why I'm sitting at 4 stars. On our recent trip, we opted to sit outdoors on the covered patio. There were several private parties inside which made a wait for a table indoors quite lengthy. It was a very hot day, but the patio fans kept the breeze blowing. I only wish they could have kept the flies and bees away, but that's a price we paid! We were greeted by our server right away and ordered waters to start. That was the only time she was prompt. It took her upwards of 15 minutes to come back to take our drink order. Another 10 to get our drinks and place our food order. When we were clearly finished (napkins on plates/plates stacked together), she never bussed our dirty plates. She just came by and asked if we were done. I had to keep my smart mouth closed. The flies became quite annoying. She was quick to collect our signed tab after we paid, but still never bussed the table. On our recent visit, we ordered a cheese pizza, vegetarian pizza and hummus - all very good! I dare say there's is one of the only pizzas that is just as good the next day. Flavorful sauce, crust and toppings. I especially love the balsamic drizzle on the veggie pizza. Little one even ate her leftover cheese pizza cold, which she never does! A friend ordered the smash burger with mac and cheese. Both were devoured. They have a pretty extensive drink list including wine and kombucha. All the beers I have tried (stouts or IPAs) have been flavorful. I will certainly return on another visit - hopefully with improved service.

Nice open feel brewery with ample bar, indoor and outdoor seating view pond views. Great American style menu variety of salads, pizza, tacos, burgers, etc. A wide variety of draft beers and semi sweet/semi sweet dry Ciders. Daily food and drink specials. Tried several flight selections Apple Pie and Amber were our favorites based on a semi sweeter taste. Food choices were Sweet Thai Beer Battered Cauliflower, Roasted Beet Salad w/Grilled Chick, and the Brunswick Burger. All were delicious and feeling. Sydney was our servicer and she did a fantastic job helping us newcomers with menu suggestions and wonderful hospitality!

One of the only local places that has great food! Tasty drinks and kombucha. Wide open breathable building building, great for large groups. Check out their events on their website!

This is a cool place to go to and the food is good, service is great but for me the place has no Character, and is pretty sterile feel to it like eating in a military dining room. But all in all, Decent.

Okay I ordered a PAN seared chicken that was basted in The PAN with Orange marmalade the side with potatoes and some broccoletts. Delicious!

Tried out Brunswick Beer and Cider and was very impressed with their beers. It is hard to find a brewery with as many cider options as they had, so I will definitely be back to try out more of the many options that they have. As far as food is concerned they have a full kitchen and menu. I ended up getting the pork skins with ranch seasoning to snack on while I drank my beer and watched some football. They were nice and crunchy and still warm from the fryer. The food prices are a bit on the pricey end and not what would would expect from a brewery, and while I didn't try any of the other food options, I will say that all of the dishes I saw brought out of the kitchen were very generous portions and looked great!

It opened back in 1972 and has been family-owned for three generations. Their wines are typically made from muscadine and scuppernong grapes. I learned that they also carry Mothervine Wine, which comes from clippings of the 400-year-old vine in Roanoke Island. Duplin Winery was allowed to take clippings from this Mother Vine and established a new vineyard. Legend suggests the vine may have been planted by Croatan Native Americans or settlers of the Lost Colony. Scuppernong grapes are a white muscadine variety that is North Carolina's official state fruit. Duplin Winery is also known as the winery of the South. There is a large parking lot. The building's exterior looks rustic. Inside, you will be greeted when you enter the door. Remember to get your basket or cart, as it is difficult to carry items without one. The first room has the wines and food products. They had a section for sampling the dips, salsas, crackers and other items. The other room has the wine tasting and gift shop. Then, beyond that, there is the Bistro. I was delighted to find non-alcoholic wines. They offered Muscadine cider, Scuppernong (white), and Muscadine (red). I left with all three. While I didn't get to try the specific Mothervine wine, I did get to try the Alcohol-Free Scuppernong at the Bistro, which features the same historic state fruit variety that made the Mother Vine famous! The gift shop has items to find those perfect gifts or just something for yourself. From the rustic charm to the friendly greeting at the door, Duplin Winery truly lives up to its reputation as the 'Winery of the South.' It's a great stop for the history, the gifts, and the delicious sweet treats.

I came here to go shark fishing over the weekend with a few friends. The first night we headed out in the late afternoon, we stopped here first. What a blast we had! I had so much fun that I would have been fine if we just stayed there instead of going fishing! Silver Coast offers wine tasting, and there were a few four-person tables there doing tastings. There are a couple of two-person tables, and then there's the bar. It's not a big place, but they sure stay busy! We sat at the bar first and asked for something special. John told us he could combine two of their beers and it would taste exactly like a Creamsicle. Well, he wasn't kidding. It smelled and tasted exactly like a Creamsicle. WOW! Needless to say, we were there every day for the three days of our trip. Each time, John brought us new tastes to try. I cannot emphasize how much fun he makes this place. Imagine if you had a small local place that you had been going to for the past 5 years. That's how John made me feel starting with my first time. On one of the top shelves of the small store which is located in the front of the room (the bar area is in the back half of the room) was a giant bottle of wine. It turned out to be five liters. I knew that if I returned from a winery without having brought my lovely wife a bottle, she might lecture me. So, I decided to get her that bottle. Hey, it was only one bottle! :-) About the facilities, they are clean and welcoming. But did I mention John? I cannot give this place enough stars.
