Came for a birthday party and had a great time. We were a large group, so we got one of the bigger karaoke rooms. They also have a main dining area, but no one was eating there while we were there. You can order food and drinks from your karaoke room. If you order drinks from the bar, you can take them back to your room. But if you order food at the bar, you have to eat it there and can't bring it back to the karaoke room. I thought that was kind of weird. I ordered the super nachos, which were really good and definitely enough to share. I also had the fried calamari, which came with onion rings and fried jalapeños. Everything was good. Parking is in the Metropolis garage off Mariposa and Wilshire, and they validate parking. read more

This is my second time in as many years coming, and each time is better than the last! The venue is clean, feels safe, and has magnificent food. I had a great pomegranate mocktail and shared a good portion of the menu with my party. Standouts were the chicken nachos and meat with red sauce pasta! read more

I came here for karaoke with some friends and it was great. It's hard to find karaoke places that play English songs in Ktown. They have a binder of Korean songs and you can also play songs directly from YouTube. They offer validated parking for $2 which is a HUGE plus since parking is extremely limited in the area. The room was clean and comfortable. We were able to order off the regular dinner menu - I love this because usually with other karaoke places, you can only get drinks or bar food (usually heated up frozen stuff). The truffle mac and cheese was so good and the root chips are a MUST try! I really liked the food here and would come back just for dinner. read more

I came here with a group of 4 people on a Sunday night, and we had the whole place to ourselves. Well, LA, you are sleeping on The Venue. I really enjoyed my experience. As you might expect, service was very attentive. But the service staff were genuinely nice guys. Super helpful with recommendations and just generally accommodating. Drinks were great. I had the South Side, which was like a Pisco Sour with cucumber. Very light and refreshing. We also tried their old fashioned's and mojitos. Food was excellent. I had eaten earlier so I only got one of the small plates -- the tofu nuggets. They were so tasty. Loved the sauce. I'm only sad I forgot to ask for a box for the remaining ones I left on my plate. My husband got the truffle mac and liked it a lot, but said it was very rich. Oh and my friends ordered a dessert for my birthday. We had the chocolate lava cake which came with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Chocolatey heaven! They even put a candle in it and spelled out "Happy Birthday" on the plate. Heads up though, they did charge us for the cake. Some places waive dessert for birthdays, but they did not. Not a big deal, though. It's a beautiful space. It's a shame it's kind of in a weird spot at the bottom of what looks like an office building. They have tons of karaoke rooms, too, which we did not utilize, but maybe next time! Still, we definitely had a five-star experience. ;) read more

This is our favorite "venue" for Mom's Night Out and Parents Night Out. Food and beverage is excellent. Ambiance and decor is amazing. And after dinner you can go straight to after party in one of their karaoke rooms. It's a one stop shop for a great night out in LA! (And did I tell you, there's a parking structure? Definitely a plus!) read more

Brace yourself as this will be one of my longer reviews because it's well deserved!! I celebrated my 40th birthday here and this venue made it a night I will never forget. My husband planned the entire surprise, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure I felt celebrated from the moment I walked in. Every greeting was warm. Every interaction felt intentional. They truly made sure I enjoyed my night. Dinner was buffet style and the spread was incredible. We had pork ribs, wings, Brussels sprouts, a veggie tray, fries, mac and cheese, tofu bites, a cheese board, a charred wedge salad, and more. Everything tasted fresh and well prepared. The standout dessert for me was the iron skillet cookie. It was easily the best pizzookie I have ever had. Soft and warm in the middle with crisp edges and just the right amount of ice cream. I even shared it with my husband. There was also a brownie available for anyone wanting something extra rich. After dinner, we moved into the karaoke room, and this is where the night became unforgettable. The staff helped coordinate a surprise video montage from my family and friends back home in Dallas. Seeing that on the screen in the room surrounded by people I love meant everything to me. They also rolled in my surprise birthday cake during karaoke and made sure it appeared at just the right moment. The team checked in on us throughout the night. They brought in leftover desserts and food, made sure we had what we needed, and allowed us to enjoy the room without interruption. The karaoke system worked perfectly. No technical issues and plenty of space for everyone to have fun. This venue created a milestone memory for me. The service, the thoughtfulness, and the hospitality were truly special. I am so grateful for the way they supported every part of the surprise my husband planned. I HIGHLY recommend this place for anyone celebrating a meaningful occasion. read more

This was probably the most complete dining experience I've had in recent memory; no flaws come to mind. I was greeted with smiles and pleasantries from every staff member and the smiles continued throughout the night. This venue is a restaurant/karaoke lounge and the evening started with dinner, which was reserved as buffet style. Every single item was delicious (too many to name). The individual shoutout goes to the iron skillet cookie dessert, however. It was by far the best "pizzookie" I've ever tasted. The cookie was baked to perfection (slight crunchy edges with a soft middle). Even with the ice cream scoops, the middle somehow kept its softness and warmth. Kudos to the chef! We transition to the karaoke section after dinner where the fun continued. The staff brought in the leftover food and desserts to our room and plenty of drinks were ordered as well. Karaoke was great and we experienced zero technical issues. I definitely would love to stop by again the next time I'm in LA. read more

The venue is located in Koreatown and is nestled in a shopping area where other establishments are located as well. The establishment serves as a restaurant and a karaoke place which is pretty cool and gives people options on what they may want that night. I loved the vibe of venue and there are multiple rooms to choose from for depending on the size of your party. We were greeted by the great staff that came in and showed us the set up of the karaoke. You can either play from YouTube or there's another system which needs more guidance. We opted for the YouTube option and we had an amazing time. Due to it being a restaurant also, there's numerous options to choose from in terms of food. We ordered the nachos, chicken wings, the shrimp skewers and a few of the liquor options. No complaints in terms of staff and food. At one point they were doing salsa lessons which I thought was pretty cool. While we were considering extending our hour, I found a big cockroach in our room. I alerted staff and I'm unsure if they were able to locate it or not but I was pretty turned off by that point. The venue looks pretty clean so I'm going to say it was a one off but I was still off putted. We decided not to extend and decided to find another option for that night. read more

The venue is the place to be! Perfect for gatherings with friends or coworkers! If you love karaoke, you should visit this place! They use youtube so you will get the latest and oldest songs to sing! And if you want the traditional karaoke, they have it as well. Their karaoke rooms are clean and well kept. We were party of 15 and booked their Room 10, which is perfect room size. Food selections are not overwhelming, it's straight simple choices. We ordered almost everything but what stands out on their appetiser are their tuna taco, super nachos, seafood ceviche and root chips. Their mains, we love the prime rib, bass and seafood spicy pasta. Drinks. Must try is french royal. Service is amazing, everyone is attentive and helpful, they made sure our stay was perfect to our liking: Parking. There is a parking structure called Metropolitan and they do validation. read more

This was a work outing and I'm not normally on the team that was celebrating a special recognition, but as I walked in a half hour late because it was really difficult to find because all the doors are like locked and closed you have to enter in on the street side. Which is kind of weird because there's just no signage that's all... Walked in to a super cool spot. I had to walk upstairs and there's a beautiful bar all these great seating areas and we were ushered into our room where we had so much food and the karaoke Had to be some of the better sound that I've ever had. I really really enjoyed singing there. It's amazing will be back. Food was great. Service was awesome. I have no bad words. read more

Food 100/10 Service 10/10 Ambiance 20/10 I randomly stumbled across this place and are u freaking kidding me. The food was beyond amazing I cannot wait to come back and try more things off the menu because how was everything so perfect. Let me just say don't leave from here without having the tuna tacos because it was by far hands down one of the best I've had. Definitely coming back for that. Cannot wait to try the lobster sesame toast and striped bass next time. This place is such a vibe for a girls night out or a romantic date or even solo like I did. 100/10 experience read more

I was a guest to celebrate a birthday. It was Saturday evening at 6:30p. The Venue is not really on Wiltshire (in my opinion) and the parking directly behind the establishment is closed off. I For the parking structure on Mariposa. Signage is placed everywhere for 3 hour parking and max cost $5.99. You do not receive a parking ticket. A short walk over to The Venue and upon entering you go down steps into a modern abyss. It was not crowded and I was to see it is a beautiful warm inviting space. Nice bar area and ample seating. When the hosts arrived we were taken to our karaoke room by Jack. He showed us how to use the their system and YouTube to get karaoke songs. All the shared food was delicious, we had. Crispy calamari , super nachos, chicken wings, garlic Parmesan fries and lobster sesame toast. Drinks and food were served pretty quickly. I had a passion fruit mocktail that was flavorful. We had about 3 hours of fun and food. The wait staff checked on us frequently. The women's bathroom was modern ,spacious and clean. They offered both an electric paper towel dispenser and a hand dryer to dry your hands. Upon leaving you scan the QR code for parking and you get $5.00 off your parking. An app called "Metropolis" is used. You enter your license plate, state and then you select your payment method. It took a while for everything to load, I was ready to either pay full price or dash out behind someone .Parking was $1.99. I will recommend to others and come back. read more

Parking can be a bit of a headache unless you grab a spot in the lot off Mariposa, but once you pass that hurdle, I think it is worth it though once you're inside. You check in at the entrance, they check your ID , and head downstairs to this sleek underground bar and karaoke setup. The vibe is fun and a little upscale, which doesn't mean you have to dress upscale. The bartenders and servers are absolutely fantastic; super attentive all night and overall great cocktails. We booked one of the private karaoke rooms, which was perfect for our group which I think went for $40, might be wrong. You can use their built-in song system or just pull up YouTube. Our group went the YouTube route and it worked great for what we needed or wanted to sing. Food-wise, a bit hit or miss. The gochujang wings had a nice spicy kick and crispy texture, but the chicken itself tasted a little too frozen. Mac and cheese was fine, nothing special, although I think it had too many breadcrumbs. The winner for us were the chicken nachos. Calamari was okay and the dipping sauce it came with was really meh. Desserts were surprisingly good though, so end on that note. Overall, the service was great, awesome karaoke setup, decent food. Heads up, gratuity's included, but still tip your bartenders, they really make the night. read more

This is my second time for dinner/happy hour at the venue and I love it everytime. Both times I went between 6-7 on a weekday and had the dining room mostly to myself. That's NOT an indication of quality by any means. I feel comfortable saying that most people who go to the venue go for food + Karaoke, and I only went for the food. Speaking of the food....let's talk about it. Discounted cocktails (happy hour!), nachos, gochujang wings, garlic parm fries, shrimp skewers, shishito peppers, chocolate lava cake with ice cream....WE DEVOURED. Everything was delicious. The nachos were cheesy and the chicken was well seasoned and juicy. The wings were a great mix of sweet and spicy...honestly, no complaints on anything. It was so good....I forgot to take pictures I rarely have a happy hour or even a dinner experience where the food is great and the atmosphere is just as iconic. I love that this place gives underground speakeasy vibes. It's super classy and the menu reflects that. Even with the happy hour discount, the drinks are a little expensive but they taste amazing. You get what you pay for so worth it! The service is also awesome. Thank you for taking good care of us. read more

This was a wonderful experience for dinner. (We did not do karaoke but are looking to do it in the future) April, who is the director of the establishment, was very kind and mindful of our table. We were celebrating my wife's cousin's recent wedding. The staff were very accommodating. The ambiance was fantastic. They also do Salsa on Fridays. We hope to do karaoke here in the future. Food wise the tuna tacos were AWESOME. Some of the other items we got (the bolognese and the ceviche) could've had a little more salt. But the flavors were overall great. Wow. I don't even know where to begin. The Venue is hands down the best karaoke bar and restaurant in all of Los Angeles. I've been to so many karaoke spots around the city, and none of them even come close to this one. The food was absolutely incredible. I had the mushroom ravioli, shrimp tacos, Caesar salad, and fries, and every single dish was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. You can tell they put real care into their menu. this isn't your average karaoke bar food. It honestly reminded me of a high-end spot you'd find in Vegas. We reserved the VIP karaoke room, and it was the most amazing experience ever. The sound system, lighting, and vibe were perfect -- super fun, comfortable, and classy. The owners went above and beyond to make sure we had the best time possible. They even surprised us with a free shot, which just showed how genuine and welcoming they are. I'm so thankful I found this place. From now on, this will be my go-to karaoke and dinner spot -- forever. We just had a college graduation party here for my son. We had 32 people and rented out the XL karaoke room. Since we do not live in L.A., we were nervous about planning the party from so far away, but management, especially Yoo, were so helpful and replied to all our emails and phone calls and made suggestions on the food and drinks we had planned to order for our guests. Jack was our waiter and he was very attentive and did not let the number of guests and the chaos of screeching karaoke singers frazzle him. The food was beautifully presented and delicious. I can't say enough how fun and smooth the night went. I would definitely recommend this place for a fun celebration! read more

Enjoy coming here because it's very well kept! The karaoke rooms are extremely clean and not ran down We came on a Sunday night so it was pretty quiet, Friday's and Saturday is the opposite. Nice quiet place. Good for casual talking and drinking. Drinks were ok. Has karaoke as well.

Came here twice with some friends for karaoke night. We reserved the room for 12. A few things to know. They have a parking lot where they will validate as long as you spend at least $30. We you go in, you have to show your ID to get in. Make sure you get there on time because they are really serious about your time, especially if they have a reservation after you. I did get here a little early with my friend and they let us get into the room early! Their service is really great! THey have a door bell you can ring if you need service. The food and drinks are so good! My friend ordered some wings and a tofu dish that looked like tator tots. Holy moly. That tofu app was AMAZZZING! That sauce! Definitely a must order. The one thing i didn't like is that they have limited song choices. There were so many songs we wanted to sing, songs that are super popular, that we couldn't find. The first time I came, you could find anything through youtube. But they changed their system and so you might be a little disappointed by their database. Also another warning. The parking machine to get out ate my friend's credit card. Luckily there was an attendant but she said that happens a lot but because it was the weekend, he had to go back on monday to get his card back. When he went back, he found out there were a lot of other credit cards waiting to be picked up. I think it's weird that they know the machine is eating cards but they aren't doing anything about it. read more

The food was good, the room was set up Real nice and the service was on point! HOWEVER the music selections or shall I say the availability of music is something to be desired. They need a selection that covers all genres. Not all Black Folks want rap. We like R&B OLD & NEW. ROCK. MODERN JAZZ. Let's do better people. ESPECIALLY for the money that is paid out for the Food and Beverage. A good time was had by all. Although, like I said the music selection was subpar I'd come again. Hopefully they'll have some 2023 R&B, new age sol or something along that line if/when we do return. read more

This is the perfect venue for any party. Big, medium or small. We got the back room that fits 40 to celebrate a friend's birthday. It fit us all perfectly. There was just enough seats since not everyone sat down. I didn't catch the names of the folks who assisted our party, but everyone did a perfect job. They were all so patient specially with the folks who were drinking more than everyone else. No orders were messed up and every drink order got fulfilled exactly as they were ordered. Our corner ordered the most food. And boy did we not disappoint. My favorites were the wings and nachos. Drinks wise, the Seana was the big winner of the night. We probably got like 10 of those. The Venue - Across the line - New American Near Me - Los Angeles, California

My cousins and I were waiting to have dinner in K-Town and we happened to find that The Venue was opened on thanksgiving!! We sat in for an hour and a half and had a blast. The space is so modern and classy. I loved the dim lighting and the seating. It felt more like a lounge and bar, honestly. But, they did serve delicious food! Because we were waiting to eat dinner, we figured we should order a few appetizers to share and pair with our cocktails. The crispy calamari was delicious! I loved the breading and it was in fact crispy. They also had fried onions and jalepenos in the mix. I feel like the onion served as a filler to make the dish look fuller though. We also ordered their brussel sprouts, which were very yummy! Garlic fries were pretty standard but delish. Their drinks are worth every cent and sip. Lol, they were strong cocktails that were expertly mixed. Half of us had their Mic Drop. Don't be fooled y'all! The drink is very fruity and refreshing, but after half a glass we were pretty buzzed! Haha, I also had the across the line. I ordered this cocktail for the aesthetic and hoped it would taste good with the pomegranate juice but I was not a fan. :/ it was very bitter. The Houston Whiskey was STRONG and surely worth every drop. Our server was very attentive at first, probably because we were one of two tables. But once it began picking up, it was hard to get a hold of him. We were also under the impression that happy hour was still available based on the days & times on the menu. But when we got our check, happy hour did not reflect. This was a bit disappointing but we didn't have much time to complain. I think the Venue would be a great place for a first date, anniversary, girls night, etc. read more

This was my first time doing karaoke ever! So I wanted my first time to be around friends and in a private setting. I chose the venue because it had pretty good reviews on tik tok from my skinfolk community because not all places in Ktown are friendly to us so I wanted to do my research. I checked it out online and proceeded to make a reservation. I booked about 4 weeks in advance because I know in the summer it can get busy. You get to select what type of room you want and it's a 2hr minimum room usage. For the amount of people we had (6) we chose a smaller room of $40 an hour plus a $200 drink minimum. Depending on the style of room and how many guest, that can dictate how much you pay an hour and how high your drink minimum will be. They also add tax and gratuity at the end so we paid a deposit of $105 and the remainder we pay at the end of our visit. The deposit gets subtracted from your total bill. This venue had two options of original K-pop songs or you can use YouTube where there was a plethora of songs to choose from! Just about any song you wanted. I specifically enjoyed this because a person who doesn't know Korean, I had a chance to pick my preferred songs and that definitely enhanced the experience for me! When you arrive, you check in, you are escorted downstairs and into your room where the hostess explains the set up and how to order your drinks. Our room was clean and spacious and we had ice buckets and glasses waiting on the table. We ordered our drinks and food and started the experience. On your last 30 mins, someone comes to ask if you want to close your tab and end your time or extend your time. We only initially wanted 2 hours (10-12am) and we had so much fun we stayed until closing at 2am! I had a blast, my friends enjoyed themselves and the staff were amazing, im definitely coming back! read more
