Brace yourself as this will be one of my longer reviews because it's well deserved!! I celebrated my 40th birthday here and this venue made it a night I will never forget. My husband planned the entire surprise, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure I felt celebrated from the moment I walked in. Every greeting was warm. Every interaction felt intentional. They truly made sure I enjoyed my night. Dinner was buffet style and the spread was incredible. We had pork ribs, wings, Brussels sprouts, a veggie tray, fries, mac and cheese, tofu bites, a cheese board, a charred wedge salad, and more. Everything tasted fresh and well prepared. The standout dessert for me was the iron skillet cookie. It was easily the best pizzookie I have ever had. Soft and warm in the middle with crisp edges and just the right amount of ice cream. I even shared it with my husband. There was also a brownie available for anyone wanting something extra rich. After dinner, we moved into the karaoke room, and this is where the night became unforgettable. The staff helped coordinate a surprise video montage from my family and friends back home in Dallas. Seeing that on the screen in the room surrounded by people I love meant everything to me. They also rolled in my surprise birthday cake during karaoke and made sure it appeared at just the right moment. The team checked in on us throughout the night. They brought in leftover desserts and food, made sure we had what we needed, and allowed us to enjoy the room without interruption. The karaoke system worked perfectly. No technical issues and plenty of space for everyone to have fun. This venue created a milestone memory for me. The service, the thoughtfulness, and the hospitality were truly special. I am so grateful for the way they supported every part of the surprise my husband planned. I HIGHLY recommend this place for anyone celebrating a meaningful occasion.

This was probably the most complete dining experience I've had in recent memory; no flaws come to mind. I was greeted with smiles and pleasantries from every staff member and the smiles continued throughout the night. This venue is a restaurant/karaoke lounge and the evening started with dinner, which was reserved as buffet style. Every single item was delicious (too many to name). The individual shoutout goes to the iron skillet cookie dessert, however. It was by far the best "pizzookie" I've ever tasted. The cookie was baked to perfection (slight crunchy edges with a soft middle). Even with the ice cream scoops, the middle somehow kept its softness and warmth. Kudos to the chef! We transition to the karaoke section after dinner where the fun continued. The staff brought in the leftover food and desserts to our room and plenty of drinks were ordered as well. Karaoke was great and we experienced zero technical issues. I definitely would love to stop by again the next time I'm in LA.

This was a work outing and I'm not normally on the team that was celebrating a special recognition, but as I walked in a half hour late because it was really difficult to find because all the doors are like locked and closed you have to enter in on the street side. Which is kind of weird because there's just no signage that's all... Walked in to a super cool spot. I had to walk upstairs and there's a beautiful bar all these great seating areas and we were ushered into our room where we had so much food and the karaoke Had to be some of the better sound that I've ever had. I really really enjoyed singing there. It's amazing will be back. Food was great. Service was awesome. I have no bad words.

Food 100/10 Service 10/10 Ambiance 20/10 I randomly stumbled across this place and are u freaking kidding me. The food was beyond amazing I cannot wait to come back and try more things off the menu because how was everything so perfect. Let me just say don't leave from here without having the tuna tacos because it was by far hands down one of the best I've had. Definitely coming back for that. Cannot wait to try the lobster sesame toast and striped bass next time. This place is such a vibe for a girls night out or a romantic date or even solo like I did. 100/10 experience

Mason and April made our experience exceptional. Went above and beyond for my best friends birthday and made it an incredibly memorable and awesome experience. The food was yummy and the vibes were high. We will be coming back & we will bring more friends! thank you April!

This is my second time for dinner/happy hour at the venue and I love it everytime. Both times I went between 6-7 on a weekday and had the dining room mostly to myself. That's NOT an indication of quality by any means. I feel comfortable saying that most people who go to the venue go for food + Karaoke, and I only went for the food. Speaking of the food....let's talk about it. Discounted cocktails (happy hour!), nachos, gochujang wings, garlic parm fries, shrimp skewers, shishito peppers, chocolate lava cake with ice cream....WE DEVOURED. Everything was delicious. The nachos were cheesy and the chicken was well seasoned and juicy. The wings were a great mix of sweet and spicy...honestly, no complaints on anything. It was so good....I forgot to take pictures I rarely have a happy hour or even a dinner experience where the food is great and the atmosphere is just as iconic. I love that this place gives underground speakeasy vibes. It's super classy and the menu reflects that. Even with the happy hour discount, the drinks are a little expensive but they taste amazing. You get what you pay for so worth it! The service is also awesome. Thank you for taking good care of us.

This was a wonderful experience for dinner. (We did not do karaoke but are looking to do it in the future) April, who is the director of the establishment, was very kind and mindful of our table. We were celebrating my wife's cousin's recent wedding. The staff were very accommodating. The ambiance was fantastic. They also do Salsa on Fridays. We hope to do karaoke here in the future. Food wise the tuna tacos were AWESOME. Some of the other items we got (the bolognese and the ceviche) could've had a little more salt. But the flavors were overall great. Ambiance: 6/5 Service: 5/5 Food: 4/5

Went to the Venue for a company outing and man was I thoroughly impressed with the food and drinks. The food was really good & came out hot & hearty. The drinks at the bar were great & the servers were very attentive! The venue has an attached karaoke room & it's such a nice attachment to the dining room/bar. The venue is a great place to take anyone & has a romantic & datsy atmosphere

Great cocktails, especially the Mic Drop and French Royal! Best service I've had at a Ktown karaoke spot. Come with a small or big group and get excellent attention from the servers.

    Great drinks and karaoke venue!

To end the night before we headed off to dinner, we stopped by The Semi- Tropic bar for drinks. The parking situation was difficult to say the least-- there is no street parking or parking lot. And the neighborhood behind the bar is filled with park cars. We were lucky and parked at a parking lot that was for the surrounding business (so sorry to the pizza/ weed shop!). We arrived at around 6:30 PM so it wasn't too busy. We were greeted by one of the servers and she gave us options to either sit at a lounge table area or hightop tables. We opted for the hightop tables because we knew we weren't staying there for long. The server was friendly and patient as we looked over the menu for drinks. I've been sober for about a year so I only had water, my boyfriend ordered a Naoshima Dream, his cousin ordered a Mango Cart, and his cousin's girlfriend ordered a Lemon Drop Martini. The bar was super cute and hipster! I honestly would have loved going to this bar back when I used to drink. It's dimly lit, had a vintage 20's speakeasy feel to it and the music was a vibe. I'd recommend coming here for a little date with your partner or even coming with a group of friends. My boyfriend had been here once before and he said the food was really good and affordable. He had a panini and said for bar food it was a 10/10. We waited maybe like 10 minutes for our drinks to come, we were having such a fun time chatting and enjoying the environment that it didn't feel long at all. My boyfriend, his cousin, and his cousin's girlfriend really enjoyed their drinks. They said the drinks tasted "light" insinuating that there was barely any alcohol in it. Don't let the taste fool you, after finishing half of their drink there were full of smiles, giggles, and had a great buzz going. The prices here were all pretty fair for the cost and quality of the drinks. Would defintely recommend coming here for drinks and dinner for a date night or a night out with friends!

It was so milky, creamy, delicious... just like me. After a couple more variety of beers, obviously it was time to feast on a classic, timeless all American gem- the hotdog. We ever so gently asked our beer connoisseur, "Excuse me, what comes in the hotdog?" Our mouths already salivating at the prospect of this delicacy. To which the fine gentleman responded "Mustard, mayo and Ketchup." Please remember this important detail, it's crucial to the story. We were feeling very bold as one does when you are glutes deep in a Hazy IPA and a second Stout so We said "Perfect. All three will do." Our eyes were beaming, our spirits were lifting, our bellies were grumbling with anticipation. After a brief three minutes, there she was. The gleaming glizzy. Doused in an intricate, interwoven condiment presentation. So immaculate, so beautiful. With such a moment it was only appropriate that we share the gleaming glizzy Lady and the Tramp style. Yes, sexy indeed. As we hold up both ends of the glizzy to our mouths, locking eyes we simultaneously take one big bite. And then... The most overpowering sensation dominates our mouths, our noses, our eyes even. In a state of shock, teetering on a state of confusion and then rage we jolted. WHAT IS IN THIS HOTDOG??? Because that was not just any plain yellow American mustard. It was a pulsating fire rampaging through our nasal cavities. It was like the world had stood still and we lost sense of gravity. This is not to be confused with a disbelief of happiness. It was a disbelief of deceit. Once we grabbed a hold of ourselves and a grip of reality we waved down the fine gentleman and said, "Is this horseradish???" To which he retorted, "No, everyone asks that. It's Spicy Dijon" Bewildered we looked at each other and knew we were thinking the same thing. A piece of us died that night. In that bar. Because that was Spicy Dijon mustard coursing through our blood, our veins, forever seared in our memories. We were lied to. Made to believe that this gleaming glizzy was normal. Beautiful and unsuspecting. Not even the coldest winter day on the snowy slopes compares to the journey we took with this hotdog. Anyway service 10/10, vibes and drinks spectacular. Will be coming back!

The wine list is rather threadbare considering it's a French restaurant, and they were even tapped out of Kronenbourg 1664 -- the only French beer on offer -- on my visit. Cocktails are not very Gallic, either, mostly featuring vodka, tequila, and mezcal to appeal to local tastes. (While the French aren't the biggest cocktail drinkers, I'd expect to see the French 75, Kir/Kir Royale, Boulevardier, and Sidecar at the very least.) Honestly, 321 Lounge could be attached to any kind of nondescript restaurant, or no restaurant at all. There's nothing particularly French about it. But that also doesn't really really matter. Taix and 321 Lounge has a special authenticity that has nothing to do with France. As far as food goes, the specials for the brief happy hour aren't very exciting (Tempura shrimp? Again, not very French...), and it's best to stick to the restaurant's main menu. Service was direct and no-nonsense, somewhat earthy, but friendly. I was taken care of well. When I entered, there was only one other table occupied; when I left, the place was on its way to being packed. I must say, I really enjoyed the dark, throwback feel of the 321 Lounge, with its wood paneling and brick walls, faux barrels and faux barrel vaults. Places like this are rapidly vanishing in Los Angeles, so I hope 321 Lounge and Taix will stick around for a good long time to come.

They have both indoor seating and outdoor seating with a piano in the middle of the room. The pianist played beautifully while not ruining the atmosphere inside. The bartenders are very knowledgeable about their craft and are willing to make any drink outside of the menu. My friends enjoyed their drinks and we would be happy to visit again.

David is a jazz enthusiast, and spends a lot of time going to bars and shows around greater Los Angeles. He wanted to see his friend Adam Ledbetter, who plays piano at the bar on Monday nights, and we tagged along. We'd been to Cafe Stella once, many years ago, but this was our first time inside Bar Stella. The space was nice, an attractive lounge with comfortable seating and a relaxed European vibe. We did have to wait a few minutes for seats to open up on a Monday, so I wouldn't be surprised if it were a little less chill on a weekend night. Bar service was fast and friendly, and we had a few rounds of cocktails. I don't remember everything we drank, but I liked the C. Arthur, made with Artist Blend Scotch, lemon, honey, cold press ginger, and Angostura bitters. El Viento was good too, if slightly watery and sour, with Tequila Ocho Reposado, yuzu, grapefruit agave, and Thai spice bitters. The piano was lovely. Adam is an incredibly talented musician, and it was a pleasure listening to him play. I appreciated his music even when we were talking, and would love to go back to hear it again on another Monday night.

Ambiance/Environment: Looove the vibes here. They have a small space, so it can get hot real quick. They'll check IDs at the entrance. There's in n out privileges until a certain time. Music: If you're into house music, then this is the lounge for you. They have different DJs during each set. Drinks: They offer beer, cocktails, and wine. I don't remember the names of the beer, but it did the job lol. The Mango Sticky Rice cocktail was really strong; I enjoyed it!
