This is a really cozy little place. The staff are super nice and the cocktail I had was fantastic. I'd like to come back and order a few more things to check out more of the menu. I had the cheeseburger and fries, which was tasty. It did fall apart on me very quickly and became quite messy, but it still tasted good.

La Fe's On'ry menu is one of the most exciting dining experiences we had lately. It's the kind of spot where every dish feels intentional ... bold flavors, thoughtful textures, and a touch of surprise. If you're someone who likes to explore beyond the usual, this is absolutely the menu to go for. What We Ordered & Loved: Bread Service Don't skip this. The cultured butter comes whipped into silky ribbons, sprinkled with smoked salt, and served with warm bread. It looks simple but the flavor is next-level. The butter is so good you'll probably want to finish every last smear. The chef made a mango jam and it goes so well! Deviled Blue Crabs One of the most eye-catching presentations of the night....served inside actual crab shells over rock salt. The filling is smoky, savory, and layered with richness from the tomato butter and a lift of Meyer lemon. It's indulgent but balanced, and definitely a conversation starter at the table. Kanpachi Crudo This was one of my personal favorites. Fresh kanpachi paired with radish, cucumber, mushrooms, and a touch of chili heat. The bee pollen kosho and chamomile oil give it a delicate, floral note that makes it stand out from the usual crudos. Bright, clean, and perfect to share. Tea Leaf Salad Easily the most surprising dish. It comes loaded with herbs, crunchy shallots, toasted nuts, tomatoes, and romaine. Every bite is different.. crunchy, tangy, fresh, with that slight umami depth from the tea leaves. If you like texture, this is the dish to order. Mussel and Potato A heartier plate that's still elegant. Mussels in a silky sake lees broth, paired with tiny potatoes that soak up all the flavor. The broth itself is so good you'll want bread on the side just to scoop it all up. Cherries and Cream Dessert here is not an afterthought. What looks rustic turns out to be layered and complex -- cherries with cream, brown butter crumble, hibiscus, and even fresh herbs to cut through the sweetness. It's creamy, crunchy, tart, and fresh all at once. A perfect ending. A final thoughts.... Service is warm and unpretentious -- the staff clearly knows the menu well and seems genuinely excited to walk you through it. Dishes come out thoughtfully paced, and the presentation strikes that perfect middle ground between rustic and refined. Insider Tips Start with the bread service -- it sets the tone and the butter is unforgettable. The deviled blue crabs are a must if you want something show-stopping. Save room for dessert -- the cherries and cream will surprise you in the best way. Portions are made for sharing -- come with at least 2-3 people so you can try more plates. Don't overlook the tea leaf salad -- it's easily one of the most unique and refreshing dishes ... Also the menu changes so its an adventure...

Cute wine bar in silver lake. We got a bottle of their sparkling wine. Limited seating inside and at the bar and they have a food menu as well that we didn't have a chance to try.

So relaxing, feeds the soul. The music, the seating, the natural light - such a peaceful brunch spot, and I must come back for evening cocktails. Their menu is full of craft cocktails and natural wines, and the staff is incredibly kind. We came for a late brunch and the food came out quite quickly! Great vegan, vegetarian and meat options - mostly meat / vegetarian, but easy to amend! Perfect Sunday spot or a relaxing evening cocktails! Bar seating, and couch style booth seating

The drinks here were so good! I loved the cozy vibe the bar has. The couches are really comfy to sit on. The customer service was good, they take your order & we didn't wait much to get our drinks.

Bland but pretty cocktails and deviled eggs (1 egg!!)

How does this place have such good reviews, I don't understand! Pretty food, drinks, and restaurant decor, but bad service, bland cocktail, and overpriced food. My boyfriend and I came here on a Friday afternoon for a bite and a drink before going to an art show at a gallery a few doors down. The menu was very minimal and says they do not make substitutions or modifications. We got the deviled eggs and the charcuterie board, and when we ordered we asked if it came with any cheese (no, only meat) and if we could order cheese to go with it (also no). The only option was to order a side of bread, which it doesn't come with. We also each ordered a cocktail off their menu. The place was not busy but the wait times were very long. We finally got what we ordered and were immediately so disappointed by the "deviled eggs". Really? 1 egg cut in half for $12? That salmon roe was not a good addition either, it made them pretty but SO salty! The side of bread was the best thing we ordered, it was crispy and delicious, but the charcuterie was pretty boring. If they added cheese, or some kind of spread it would balance it so much more. It felt like half of a thought since if we didn't order break it was just a plate with sliced meat. The cocktails were honestly probably the worst part. My cocktail tasted like super watered down pineapple juice, like id you let the ice melt after finishing a glass of juice. Extremely bland. I wanted to ask for something else, but once we got our order we could not find a waiter again. We went inside too but nobody was around! After probably 30 minutes we finally caught someone and just asked for the check because we had to get going. This place really seems more like a photo op than a good place to eat. I know this area has gotten bougier, but this is too far. We went to Gyoza Bar a little up the street after the show and we're SO HAPPY with the food and cocktails!

My friends and I went to Le Fe for Sunday brunch and had amazing time! Since it was a slow Sunday we were able to easily find street parking. I had the Body and Soul cocktail! It was delicious! Love a tequila and espresso drink! The food was amazing too! It tasted really fresh and flavorful! It was my perfect breakfast! The portion size was filling! The service was amazing! Our waitress was super friendly and did not rush us. Love their adorable puppy mascots too!

Stopped at Le Fe Saturday morning as they now are open 7am for coffee and breakfast items. If you know the area specifically that block you know it is not common to find breakfast items so this was nice. Ordered the everything bagel with fried egg- don't recall the name but it had crumbled fresh cheese, avocado and green herbs. The bagel was a good size. The service was and is always 10/10. I have stopped by before for a night cap cocktail, I was so hungry that night fortunately they had fries I would recommend for cocktails and weekend AM breakfast & coffee. Daytime has a nice natural lighting with a cozy vibe, in the evening it is very dim but for sure recommend for a date night or any intimate small gathering.

Beautiful bar with a great atmosphere, a perfectly made Old Fashioned, and friendly staff--I have no complaints at all. The only reason I hesitate to leave a review is that I'd love to keep this place my hidden gem... that's how much I enjoyed it! I haven't had the chance to try the food yet, but I'll definitely be coming back soon.

Dreamy Boy with food from Boy Blue collab (menu changes weekly)

La Fe is a cute and home-y wine bar in a prime location in Echo Park, across the street from Donna's and next to Reverie Bookstore. PARKING: Street parking only on a very busy Sunset, although there is more parking (albeit usually pretty full) heading into the residential area. There is a public paid lot about 5 min walking which can also fill up. FOOD: I came during a Boy Blue pop where the menu changed every week. It was delicious! Price points were $15-$20 but the portions were more small bites, not super filling. DRINKS: Cocktails are $$, although typical for the area in LA. I had the Dreamy Boy which was $17. The drink was light and tasted good, as someone who both doesn't like the taste of alcohol but also dislikes super-sweet drinks. SERVICE: Every server was very warm and welcoming. Food and drinks were served in a timely manner. For an area that can be iffy on customer service, I felt very comfortable. SEATING: They have bar seating and couch seating with stools that are pretty low, so may not be the most comfortable for long periods of time. Overall this is such a cute and cozy spot. I definitely would go again- hopefully there will be more pop-ups!

In order to get to the nut, one must appreciate and wallow in the chocolate shell and its fudge coating. My friend Lorraine and I had just spent energy walking the MOCA so securing refreshments and a place to rest was next on the agenda. With the Conrad being one maybe two blocks from the MOCA, it became the destination for a moment of rest. We walked, and we just kind of figured, easily, that the lobby had a bar. We figured it out easily because we kind of just picked up, along the way, that most, gorgeous and lux hotels have lobby bars. As you enter the lobby of the Conrad you were greeting with vivid pink Cherry Blossom shrubs. I wondered if they were faux or real? Regardless, the touch of temporary Spring was much appreciated, and made me wonder how the Conrad celebrates seasons and holidays with sophisticated and tasteful adornments. For St. Patrick's day I do not imagine the Conrad placing inflatable Shamrocks in specific places but rather emerald wreaths decorated with Swarovski rainbows. Meaning that the Conrad will not stoop to support cheer and mirth with over played tchotchkes. As I explored the lobby I continued to spot the elegant details that together made the Conrad lobby a lux environment where the thought of boorish behavior banish to the isles of dive bars and bro-outs. I saw a curtain that draped to the floor. I ran my fingers and the cloth felt good, it also made me feel like I was a heroine capturing dynamic footage for a commercial. I clipped the moment, but, I would have felt the commercial montage vibe, even if I did not clip a video of the moment. There were also these cubes with a red slit that looked like a funky dragon eye. I clipped those too. I took time to notice how the environment made itself luxurious and aesthetically pleasing. In that way I enjoy the sparkle of a diamond ring not just appreciate the ring because it is expensive. Lorraine and I finally found a place to sit outside around a bonfire. From where we sat we were able to view a geometric wonder or in other words an LA building. The building, to the side of the Conrad, looked like stacks cubes in a layered way. The intent was not uniformity, it was building floors like a step stool so that a short giant could reach a pantry item above his reach. Two sides of the building were beige, the middle blue in windows. Finally, it did not looked like a four dimensional shape, like most building does, it rather looks like a corner slice of a round building cake. I got all these images as I revisited the picture. Being there, sitting outside in an elevated patio, with a burning fire pit, while eating corn nuts that were brought to my hand via a spoon, was a relaxing exercise that demanded rest, reflection, and presence to enjoy the comfort owed to us because we sought it and we were humble enough to find splendor amongst it. Of course, the step stool building was not the only marvel that we appreciate because of a new found level. We also enjoyed the Hollywood sign beyond the distance. If I were a tourist to the city of Angels, and saw the Hollywood for the first time from my hotel, I think I would plotz. We also saw the odd curves and wings of the Disney Concert Hall. And nearby there was a single sculpture on the Conrad's grass. I would consider where we sat a nest, to enjoy the beauty of all around us, as we waited for someone to bring us food, that thankfully they would not chew and then feed to us because then a crass vibe would be invited to the stronghold reserved only for the demure. The environment of this place, as the above paragraph suggests, is the flex. My friend Lorraine and I split a cheese and meat board, charcuterrie, I know I spelled it wrong. But here in this place they called it something different--- cheese and embudinitos. This was a solid board, nothing dramatic, nothing over the top good but the perfect set of bites for the moment where we sat and saw and sipped and then also sat back. The one huge miss of the moment was my drink---the Vesper a Vodka concoction. The server explained that it was going to be balanced more than sweet. I took sips and the motif of elevated elegance became hard hitting alcohol swill. The drink had no subtle presence, no restrain in taste. It was a pure alcohol kick, like I was trying to get drunk cause that alone was a cool fact. I did not send the drink back because I could handle the sips that tasted more like shots. I am not going to lie, it was a good buzz on a glass, but in terms of it being a composed creation, it simply was not. I read the menu, and the drink was vodka, gin, and a third ingredient that sounded french but was spelled with apostrophes but not at the end. Maybe what I responded too was the gin not the vodka. In short, I would go here again whenI need to relax with sip, snacks, and enjoy immersive views of sky and skyline.

Lots of egg filling, but wish it was more flavorful. Bread also didn't hold the egg filling well. - Melon Soda Float: Yummy dessert. Ice wasn't necessary since there was ice cream in the cup already. We arrived at around 6:30 PM so it wasn't too busy. We were greeted by one of the servers and she gave us options to either sit at a lounge table area or hightop tables. We opted for the hightop tables because we knew we weren't staying there for long. The server was friendly and patient as we looked over the menu for drinks. He had a panini and said for bar food it was a 10/10. Don't let the taste fool you, after finishing half of their drink there were full of smiles, giggles, and had a great buzz going. The prices here were all pretty fair for the cost and quality of the drinks. Would defintely recommend coming here for drinks and dinner for a date night or a night out with friends!
