The place is cute but the servers are rude ah hell! The music is mid... The bartender gave so much attitude and were very passive aggressive. The drinks were ok I got a basic margarita. I would not recommend this place because they made me feel very uncomfortable and judged.

Nice ambiance and decent music selection but the bartender was being rude and very snobbish.

The highlights here are great drinks, bussin ranch and tots, and I liked the style/decor here…read more Negative one star because $40 for two smash burgers and one side of tots is criminal and that's from their happy hour menu. We couldn't even get another side with a $40 meal of BURGERS. The burger wasn't anything special to be honest. But I will say their ranch tasted homemade and was so good. Their tots were perfectly crispy and seasoned. I would come back just for tots and ranch. You can order food through the QR code and then pick them up at the window inside. We came here on Friday around 5 PM. We were able to walk in and get a table. As it got later, the place started filling up. I got the miller lite slushie thing they make (I can't find it on any of the menu on Yelp right now so not really sure what it's called) but that was really good. I thought a slushie miller lite would be weird but it was actually really delightful and didn't really even taste like beer but I guess that makes sense since that beer probably tastes like water. Tbh I haven't had a miller lite on its own in over 12 years.

They had a tomato martini that sounded questionable, but it was actually amazing. It had tomato water, burrata infused vodka and a balsamic drizzle and I still think about it I wish they'd bring it back, but they always have so many other great cocktails. I've also tried the food, which was good, but I think there are better food options nearby. I mostly come here for the drinks and atmosphere, and they absolutely nail both.

After reading all the reviews, you've probably already gotten the point, the food here is amazing…read more And it really was. Unfortunately, I don't have any photos because we're trying to get better about actually enjoying our meals instead of always taking pictures of everything, but man, everything was so delicious and the portions were nicely sized. For a party of two, we started with the baba ghanoush, which was so good. The bread was warm, fluffy, and perfect with it. We also ordered the Brussels sprouts. They weren't my favorite dish of the night, mostly because they were pretty tart and saucy, and I'm personally not a huge sour or tart person. But we still finished them, so that should tell you something. If you like saucier dishes with a more tangy flavor, you'll probably love them. The rice was amazing. It had different types of raisins, nuts, and so much flavor. It was honestly beautiful. We also ordered the branzino, which was really, really good. For our first time here, I think we did a pretty good job ordering, especially because we had no idea how generous the portions would be. We are two full-grown adults and we were stuffed. We even had to take some of the rice and branzino home, and we definitely did not have room for dessert. The service was great too. It was surprisingly busy for a weekday, but everything still felt organized and well handled. The staff was friendly and attentive, and we never felt forgotten even with how packed it was. This place is perfect for sharing and would be amazing for a bigger group. The space itself is also so beautiful. It has a historic and eclectic vibe and it would be perfect for a date night or catching up with friends. There's also so much to do around the area before or after dinner. I'll definitely be back. Easily one of my favorite spots on the Eastside.

You reach a phone booth, pick up the phone, and wait for someone to buzz you in. This bar is different from the other two bars as it's smaller, more intimate, and focused on craft cocktails. On nights and weekends though, it can still get busy. We ordered a variety of drinks and liked the menta milk punch ($18), last word ($18), and queen's park swizzle ($16). This was my first time here and I would be interested in coming back and also check out the tiki bar too. This is a cool place to go as part of your bar hopping in Old Town Pasadena.

Walk inside and pick up the phone, and when the person on the other end answers, let them know how many in your party. Then the side wall of the phone both will open and you walk in to the speakeasy. Seating is limited, so get there early on the weekend, or go during the week and it's probably better. Craft cocktails are the name of the game, and it looks like a fully stocked bar, so if the menu doesn't appeal to you, you can order of menu as well. The mixologist were great, good usually and it's a fun environment. If you're in Pasadena, grab a drink and watch a game at the 35er, then head downstairs, through the phone both, and enjoy this ittle gem.

I was excited to celebrate my birthday here for the first time after hearing so many great things…read moreabout Capri. Unfortunately, our experience was beyond disappointing. We were told seating was first come, first served, so when a table opened up outside, our group of five sat down while part of our group went inside to order. Almost immediately, my friends were aggressively accused by a waitress of bringing outside alcohol, which was completely untrue. Shortly after ordering multiple drinks and several plates of food, another staff member came to our table and began yelling at us, threatening to kick us out for being "rude" to staff, even though we had done nothing but order our food and drinks. What made it even more uncomfortable was watching other guests openly smoking weed while staff said nothing, yet our group felt watched, accused, and singled out the entire time. As the only Latino group sitting outside, the experience left us feeling unwelcome, uncomfortable, and discriminated against. As a fellow restaurant owner, I understand hospitality and house policies, which is why this treatment was especially disappointing. What should have been a fun birthday celebration turned into a terrible experience, and we ended up leaving early.
