From the very beginning, it was clear that we were in great hands. Our coordinator, Kaitlynn Stuewe, was nothing short of exceptional. She was organized, responsive, patient, and incredibly accommodating throughout the planning process. She worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure every detail came together flawlessly, and her calm, reassuring presence made what could have been a stressful process feel effortless. One of the biggest highlights of the evening was the food. During the tasting, our family shared detailed feedback regarding flavors, spice levels, and menu preferences. We were pleasantly surprised to see that every suggestion had been thoughtfully incorporated. The result was an outstanding meal that had our guests raving all night long. I lost count of how many people told us it was some of the best food they had ever had at a wedding. That level of care and attention to detail truly sets this venue apart. The venue itself is absolutely breathtaking. The beautiful grounds, elegant reception space, and peaceful setting created the perfect backdrop for such a special celebration. Every corner of the property is meticulously maintained, and it provided an unforgettable experience for both our family and our guests. I also want to recognize the incredible banquet staff. They were gracious, attentive, and seamlessly efficient throughout the evening. Tables were cleared promptly, food stations remained fully stocked, drinks were constantly refreshed, and every guest was treated with genuine warmth and hospitality. Their professionalism allowed our family to focus on celebrating rather than worrying about logistics. Watching my brother and new sister-in-law enjoy such a perfect wedding day meant the world to me, and so much of that was thanks to the amazing team at The Lone Star Safari Ranch. They didn't simply host an event--they helped create memories that our family will cherish for a lifetime. A heartfelt thank you to Kaitlynn and the entire staff for your dedication, professionalism, and genuine care. If you're looking for a wedding venue that offers stunning scenery, exceptional food, outstanding service, and a team that truly goes above and beyond, I cannot recommend The Lone Star Safari Ranch highly enough. Five stars, without the slightest hesitation!

She was super responsive, attentive and easy to work with! This years banquet was one of my favorites and we moved to the Forum Ballroom. The lighting was amazing and we loved the more intimate setting for our group of 130. Parking is plentiful. It was a 10/10 kind of evening!

My husband had previously seen Candace's venue when he was visiting for a work meeting. When we had gotten engaged he kind of tossed it in to the many places we were thinking of having our wedding. It was the first venue we visited and no other place could have beat it after that. Candace used to be a photographer so she is definitely an expert at what she does and all her recommendations were so helpful. We had booked cross key over a year in advance so we had not spoken for a while before the wedding. But anytime time I had a question about the venue or recommendations she quickly would respond to my emails. Once it came to the big day unfortunately my officiant didn't show up on time but Candace helped so much. She put her game face on and helped my mom take over for show until the officiant could come sign our papers. As you could imagine I was very upset when the officiant arrived and Candace took care of that so I didn't have to deal with it . After that everything ran smoothly and we were able to just party all night and dance the night away. If you're thinking about booking... don't wait!!! This venue has so much to offer and is just breath taking! Book as soon as you can!

The main building has a courtyard that allows for cocktail hour, or a mixer prior yo entering the building. A few dishes we found that had nuts were surprisingly the pork belly and the cheese balls. So, don't make assumptions. Plenty of parking, easy to get in/out of. We attended Briscoe Manor's open house in January 2026, which was a showcase of vendors that are familiar with the venue and samples from their in-house catering. It was a fantastic open house. Their in-house catering had short rib wellington bites being walked around, and the buffet sampler spread included a meat and cheese charcuterie board, hummus dip, French onion dip with bread, roasted vegetables, elotes, shrimp cocktails, and deviled eggs. A few hot plates available were the butternut squash rigatoni, crab asparagus, pork belly, and meat loaf. I would say my favorites were the crab asparagus and the short rib Wellington bites. The venue itself is quite beautiful. The dance floor is a bit small and is raised, so some care should be taken for mixing too much alcohol into that. A string quartet with pop music was playing and the acoustics were very nice in the main reception hall. The team seemed very friendly and the church was steps away from the reception hall (walk outside briefly, but it's entirely covered in case of rain).

Doesn't look like much when you drive past - okay, I'm using the canned Yelp message there - and,…read moreif you arrive at night, it's likely that you'll drive right past it. The Palladium is located on a one-way freeway frontage road, so you can't make a U-turn to get there if you pass it up. But it's not one to avoid. The Palladium is not a franchise of a nationwide company named after Arthur Murray or Fred Astaire. It's a local concern, and doesn't offer as much as the other two studios I listed. I've gone to their Latin events, and here's what it looks like: They have in-house instructors, and also bring in people from outside Houston. (I wrote about California's Kathy Reyes in two prior reviews, I hope she's reading this and makes the trip to Houston some time!) They have classes, and they have dance parties. Both are run well, charging market rates. Lots of parking. One medium-sized dance floor, two smaller studios. The bar sells drinks, both alky and non-alky. Restrooms are deep in the bowels of the building, down the hall to the left. The people who come are a good company, and are fixinta learn to dance better and to have fun. The social dance community of Houston is smaller than in other cities, so there's much overlap from one instructor to another, and it's likely that you'll meet someone there who you danced with somewhere else. I haven't met any snobs yet, but you can't assume that they won't be there. I first went to the Palladium for New Years Eve. I've been several times since then. The experience was similar to others I've been to in other cities. I've had a good time, and never drove home thinking "well, that was a waste of a hundred mile drive one-way." Beaumont simply has nothing like The Palladium, likely because few people in the Coonie Triangle are interested in ballroom or Latin dancing. I encourage you to find a class or party and stop on by.

I was present at the event Tammy W. is referring to, and her review does not reflect what actually happened. She was involved in a serious disruption during the event, which caused a lot of stress for the couple and guests. It's clear that this review is coming from a place of personal frustration rather than an honest assessment of the venue. From what I saw, the venue was clean and well-kept, exactly like the pictures. The bridal suite was private and comfortable, and the staff was professional and attentive throughout. I didn't witness any of the issues she's describing with noise, cleanliness, or parking. In fact, the team went above and beyond to keep everything running smoothly despite the challenging situation. It's upsetting to see someone try to damage a venue's reputation with such an unfair account. If you're considering booking here, I'd strongly encourage visiting in person or speaking with other guests--my experience was truly positive.
