The main building has a courtyard that allows for cocktail hour, or a mixer prior yo entering the building. The interior is pretty standard issue and I found it to be unremarkable outside of the wedding.

Nut allergies - This is a funny one to comment on because obviously the venue can address any…read moreallergies ahead of time. A few dishes we found that had nuts were surprisingly the pork belly and the cheese balls. So, don't make assumptions. Plenty of parking, easy to get in/out of. We attended Briscoe Manor's open house in January 2026, which was a showcase of vendors that are familiar with the venue and samples from their in-house catering. It was a fantastic open house. Their in-house catering had short rib wellington bites being walked around, and the buffet sampler spread included a meat and cheese charcuterie board, hummus dip, French onion dip with bread, roasted vegetables, elotes, shrimp cocktails, and deviled eggs. A few hot plates available were the butternut squash rigatoni, crab asparagus, pork belly, and meat loaf. I would say my favorites were the crab asparagus and the short rib Wellington bites. The venue itself is quite beautiful. The dance floor is a bit small and is raised, so some care should be taken for mixing too much alcohol into that. A string quartet with pop music was playing and the acoustics were very nice in the main reception hall. The team seemed very friendly and the church was steps away from the reception hall (walk outside briefly, but it's entirely covered in case of rain).

So excited we got Invited to my friends garden wedding here in a few weeks, cant wait! Katy TX is approx. 1hr drive from Houston airport, 30min from downtown Houston Galleria where my lodging will be located. I have a few tourist attractions in mind while visiting. Galveston coastline/ beach is approx. 1hr from Houston. So I finally got the chance to visit beautiful Palm Royal Villa!! Whewww its absolutely amazingly gorgeous!! I see why one would organize a fabulous event at this location. They have two floors and rooms upstairs for the hostess to use. My friend and her wedding party were getting dressed when we arrived, so I got to see a little bit of upstairs. We checked in, temp checks, guest list check in, hand sanitizer, and mask worn for the event. The employees and staff coming to Villa followed the CoVid recommended guide lines. Everything was set up nicely and organized, we did stay inside until the wedding started due to the heat. The staff were really friendly and welcoming during our visit. The event and caters for the wedding did a fabulous job! There was a DJ, bar service and a photographer at the event. I took alot of pics, some reviews on google complained about the Villa not having many reviews or pics. Hopes this helps others who may be considering using the facility for the future. The website does gives some details and contact information. Keep in mind the heat when doing a outdoor event during CoVid. We really enjoyed ourselves. I felt like we stepped out of the country for a bit!! I would highly recommend them in the near future.

My family and I were invited to a wedding here. I would describe this as the Kim Son venue part…read morewithout the restaurant. The outside looks kind of dated with a washed out pale pink color. They do have valet, but the line was too long. Their parking lot wasn't very big. So, valet needed to be creative with parking cars. We opted to self park, which was problematic with the rain and standing water in the parking spots. Inside, there was security on the first floor and a winding staircase. The wedding reception was located on the second floor. In front of the venue entrance, there was a fun photo booth, a full bar, a pile of wedding favors, and a backdrop for picture taking with the bride and groom. The reception venue itself was huge. For perspective, this venue housed about 600 guests. So, if you're looking for a venue for a large party, this is your spot. There were brightly lit, huge chandeliers above us. There was a decent sized dance floor in the middle of the room, and a long table for guests to enjoy milk tea from The Teahouse - I enjoyed the strong tea flavor, despite how sweet it was for me. We got to our table, which barely squeezed nine of us in comfortably. But, we managed. I did enjoy how much food we received at this wedding. Like other Kim Son weddings I've attended, I'm always left full after these events. There were 9 courses, which included the wedding cake. My favorites of the night included the Peking Duck & Steamed Bun, Grilled New York Strip & Asparagus (although, I didn't eat the asparagus. lol), the seafood part of the Seafood Bird's Nest, and the Yang Chow Fried Rice. The Photo Booth was really fun. There were all kinds of props and quotes to choose from for fun pictures. Although, there was only a short amount of time to pick our props and take the pictures. Overall, I had a good time at this wedding venue. If you plan to have a large wedding reception, this spot can accommodate you. Plus, if you have hungry guests that are huge eaters, they will leave very full here.

They have a balcony, dressing rooms, and restrooms. This venue is owned by the Kim Som family. We had an event here in the upstairs ballroom for about 400 guests. They have their own kitchen here. The food is your average Vietnamese dishes and they do accommodate to vegetarians. You can request a blueprint of how the tables will be set up to plan your seating chart. You can also ask the manager to tour the venue beforehand. However, sometimes it was hard to get in touch with the manager. Although the venue was spacious, the parking lot was not. At least not if you have 400-500 guests coming. On Sunday's, there is a church in the same plaza so the parking spaces were taken up. Additional parking can be found around the plaza. Overall, a good venue to plan your special occasions.
