Not quite sure what the appeal to this venue is besides the "wildlife" but we did see a few wandering peacocks screaming on top of trees and defecating around the parking lot. There were 2-3 zebras and a few deer behind one of their fences but we did not see anything that would describe this location as a safari. The venue itself was slightly dated and honestly not what you would think of for the more modern millennial wedding locations/ aesthetics. The men's bathroom had the lovely 3 urinal with no divider setup and the interior of the venue we attended reminded me of a Luby's.

I found ADDA shortly after, I was offered a tour of the property with the most patient people. They were flexible with me and let me book 2 days prior to my event. Even though it was 30 degrees outside, they kept the building warm and comfortable. Before arriving to the property, they set up the tables and provided extra table cloths. We were told it could not be repaired until after we left. There was someone on site the entire time but they weren't of any help. My husband tried to plunged it and long hair and paper products (wipes) came up. We had to shut it down and only had access to one restroom for 100 guests. Afterwards we were called to pick up our deposit because we were cleared. Once we arrived, a week later due to being on vacation, we were told that it was being held due to the drains being clogged outside. We didn't pour anything down the drain and the owners had an event hours before our event and the week after. Since it was events being held by the owners, they held our deposit to pay for their repairs. I asked for cameras and they were inconveniently not available to show what they claimed. I took pictures and also looked up the repairman they used. He was not a real business which was on the invoice and he was a " friend " of the owners. Be aware, it's a scam! They also tried to blame the toilet repair on us. The person on site told them it was our fault. When we showed up unexpectedl, the person was there. I asked her face to face did we do damage to the bathroom or toilet and she confessed that it was. Not us and that we actually tried to teoair it. So, they took that off. Remember, this was a week after we were cleared. This dance hall has several classes a week with young teens. Chips, candy and cookies wrappers were photographed in the drains and again the toilet had long hair and paper products (wipes) coming up. We didn't have time to clog the bathroom toilets and the drains had a large amount of trash from their Halloween events surrounding our one event. If you rent from them, be prepared to pay for their repairs that they are placing in hold for you to conveniently pay for. The owner is denying that we had an event at the venue after my review. Ms . Katarina knows who we are and when the event was held. Again, a scam!! Beware! I stated someone was at the venue during our event, however they lied and when confronted, they changed their story. I stated that the bathroom was down, however, if you rent the bottom floor, you only have access to two of the "many" bathrooms. Again, we could only use one! We also were not able to use the upper level during our rental. The elevator was blocked and so was the stairs. Therefore the "many" bathrooms were not accessible. Although we rented for an event, there were students and parents still on the second floor during the time that was paid. As stated, the elevator and stairs were blocked from us having access to the "many" bathrooms, the students and parents would move the barriers to enter and exit as they please throughout our event. Katarina left her number and contact information. she did not answer or return my calls when I was questioning about the repairs. My calls were ignored, my visits were voided, and she only wanted to give directions in an email. She didn't answer any questions or concerns. I have photos and the contract. I do not have to show proof. if the owner does not know who this is from, that means that this has happened several times and she cannot come to a conclusion if which victim she used. The tables that were agreed upon in our contract also were not available. We were told that we couldn't use them on the day of the event. They were piled up in the back of the room taking up space that we rented. It was definitely an eye sore so we had to use a backdrop in front of the tables. We also had to place a backdrop in front of the elevator that we could not use. Totally unorganized and questionable integrity and transparency.

Not only was it the most beautiful, but it was also the most affordable and the least stressful when it comes to overall planning of a wedding. Trena, Danny, and Avery were so helpful! They offer an all inclusive package where you are able to select your food, decorations, dessert, flower arrangements, plate settings, DJ, selection of where your ceremony will be held, etc. You only have to show up once (other than the tour) in order to select everything. You also have to meet with the food vendor at their restaurant for food tasting in a separate location. It was so simple. I went one day with my husband to tour the venue and an additional day to select everything. That was all! Friday you have access to the rehearsal dinner and Pattison house. Both buildings are decorated with a rustic glam touch. You are able to drop off all your wedding items the day before. The day of the wedding, the bride and bridesmaids have access to the Pattison house. YES YOU READ THAT RIGHT!! A whole house!!! Danny married us during the ceremony and was so elegant , intimate, and professional. Their staff and owners were nothing but professional, helpful, and kind. We also respected the delicate and beautiful place and didn't act like entitled brats. It's absolutely amazing! Best experience ever! I have seen so many brides stress over their wedding day and here I was only showing up once to make our special day happen! During the wedding, all we did was relax. Avery made the wedding so fun and kept it moving. The next day we took our time and showed up around eleven am to pick up all our things.

We toured several venues prior to choosing The Pattison House. When we took our tour Trena & Danny told us that they didn't care if we picked their venue, they just wanted to be sure we picked the best venue for US. As they immediately felt like family, we knew there was no choice but The Pattison House and are so grateful we did! I was able to plan our wedding while working 60 hours a week and don't have to stress about a thing. Trena and Avery had every detail handled from the decor, to flowers, and vendor coordination. They made wedding planning and our wedding day an absolute breeze. We were the first in our family to have a wedding that didn't require our family to decorate and/or clean up which was an important detail to us and greatly appreciated by our family. They were so accommodating, even when we had to reschedule due to the pandemic. Several things stuck out most to me - 1. They were so flexible with rescheduling. They honored my discounted rate without charging me a rescheduling fee 2. They allowed me to set up the day before the wedding, which wasn't offered with any of the other venues I toured. This was a huge load off my plate for my actual wedding day. Caroline and her son were on-site with me, moving around furniture and making sure the grounds were perfect 3. It rained on my wedding day and they offered to shuttle everyone to and from the building so they didn't get wet (luckily we didn't have to use this) 4. Several items were left behind through all the chaos of the wedding that I didn't realize. Caroline put them all aside for me and was so flexible in scheduling a pick up 5. Caroline was on-site the day of my wedding and took sooo many photos of the event. She sent them to me the day after the wedding and it was so special seeing them while we were waiting for the ones from my photographer to come back Overall, the staff at Ambrosia Crossing was such a joy to work with and we received numerous compliments on the aesthetic of the venue from our guests. This was all pre-covid…read more We signed the rental agreement & paid our deposit of $1000, and COVID began spreading a few months later. We immediately reached out to the venue owner & asked if we could reschedule the wedding for 2021. She agreed in writing, but never sent the updated contract for us to sign. I followed up with her for literally SIX MONTHS asking for the updated contract, but I kept getting the run around. With the deaths in the family & the growing uncertainty, we couldn't afford to continue waiting around for the owner, Caroline, to send us documents that we should've received months prior. After chasing caroline & her team around for six months via email as well as phone calls, I told her that I was no longer interested in having my wedding at the her venue due to the lack of response. Instead of apologizing and refunding my deposit, she forwarded me a FABRICATED EMAIL that she used to pretend that she sent the updated contract already. It was a cheap attempt at fabricating an email & as soon as that happened, I decided that we definitely would not be dealing with them moving forward. I don't trust them, and I don't want anyone else to be taken advantage of in this manner. I hope this review helps other couples in this tough time!
