This was a huge load off my plate for my actual wedding day. Caroline and her son were on-site with me, moving around furniture and making sure the grounds were perfect 3. It rained on my wedding day and they offered to shuttle everyone to and from the building so they didn't get wet (luckily we didn't have to use this) 4. Several items were left behind through all the chaos of the wedding that I didn't realize. Caroline put them all aside for me and was so flexible in scheduling a pick up 5. Caroline was on-site the day of my wedding and took sooo many photos of the event. She sent them to me the day after the wedding and it was so special seeing them while we were waiting for the ones from my photographer to come back Overall, the staff at Ambrosia Crossing was such a joy to work with and we received numerous compliments on the aesthetic of the venue from our guests. We immediately reached out to the venue owner & asked if we could reschedule the wedding for 2021. She agreed in writing, but never sent the updated contract for us to sign. I followed up with her for literally SIX MONTHS asking for the updated contract, but I kept getting the run around. With the deaths in the family & the growing uncertainty, we couldn't afford to continue waiting around for the owner, Caroline, to send us documents that we should've received months prior. After chasing caroline & her team around for six months via email as well as phone calls, I told her that I was no longer interested in having my wedding at the her venue due to the lack of response. Instead of apologizing and refunding my deposit, she forwarded me a FABRICATED EMAIL that she used to pretend that she sent the updated contract already. It was a cheap attempt at fabricating an email & as soon as that happened, I decided that we definitely would not be dealing with them moving forward. I don't trust them, and I don't want anyone else to be taken advantage of in this manner. I hope this review helps other couples in this tough time!
