My fiancé & I visited Ambrosia Crossing about a year ago to view the venue. This was all pre-covid. We signed the rental agreement & paid our deposit of $1000, and COVID began spreading a few months later. We immediately reached out to the venue owner & asked if we could reschedule the wedding for 2021. She agreed in writing, but never sent the updated contract for us to sign. I followed up with her for literally SIX MONTHS asking for the updated contract, but I kept getting the run around. With the deaths in the family & the growing uncertainty, we couldn't afford to continue waiting around for the owner, Caroline, to send us documents that we should've received months prior. After chasing caroline & her team around for six months via email as well as phone calls, I told her that I was no longer interested in having my wedding at the her venue due to the lack of response. Instead of apologizing and refunding my deposit, she forwarded me a FABRICATED EMAIL that she used to pretend that she sent the updated contract already. It was a cheap attempt at fabricating an email & as soon as that happened, I decided that we definitely would not be dealing with them moving forward. I don't trust them, and I don't want anyone else to be taken advantage of in this manner. I hope this review helps other couples in this tough time! read more
