We prefer this theater because it's smaller and you won't find large crowds with drama. The concessions are overpriced like every theater. They can be slow at the concession stand, too. The personalities/smiles at concessions are not the brightest or friendliest but the ticket scanner made up for it with her bright smile! The seats are comfortable and recline nicely. The temperature can be on the warmer side which doesn't bother me but my hot-blooded wishes it was cooler inside. If you're not looking for fancy and like a smaller venue, head to Rosenberg Cinemark. read more

This is a cute little movie theatre, and the downside is it doesn't always have all the movies playing that you might want - not many screens - and of course the prices are still pretty high as they are at every theater these days, but having said that there are some great merits and it's not that busy and has a big parking lot close to where everything is. It serves Rosenberg well, and even though the employees aren't always the best, I still think it's one of the few four-star movie theatres around. read more

This place is horrible, like what movie theater or venue as such does not have water. I am 7 months pregnant it's over 100 degrees outside and NO WATER. I asked multiple staff if I there was water bottles in the back for purchase. The response and attitude I received was very unwelcoming. It had been awhile since we had been here but I found ordering the tickets online for reserved seating to be very easy through Fandango. The theatre we were in. No 6 had the nice lounge seats that you can recline. Very cozy and wide! I found the place to be clean. The employees friendly and attentive and the quality of the film and sound to be top notch! The theatre is located fairly close to where I live and during the week the matinee prices are only $5! Which is really a good deal! I like being able to order online and see where you will be admitting and printing out your order or having it sent to your phone is easy peezy! Plenty of places to eat around the area if you're wanting to do dinner and a movie. The concessions are your typical but fairly priced. If you get the large popcorn you get refills but they give you so much it's a lot. It would be a better deal if you had a party of 4 or more! Enjoyed visiting this place after so long. This theater is disgusting. We went to a movie at 2:35 pm and there was food everywhere. Even between the seats. The seats are all old and worn. Just when I thought it couldn't get worse, we lost keys between the seats. The people "cleaning" were helpful and lifted the chairs up and oh my god. Popcorn and candy EVERYWHERE under the seats. Even melted candy on the floors. How long does that have to be there for it to start melting?? And how often do they hardcore clean?? We were at maybe the second movie of the day. I know people are not that messy. I will never go back to this theater unless they clean it. It made me laugh because they have a sign about seats being sanitized between movies, but they have wipes if you want to clean more. I promise you, if they aren't cleaning the floors, they aren't cleaning the seats. read more

This definitely isnt the best theater in town but its local and they have deals. On Tuedays the tickets are discounted. We always buy our tickets in advance but its never overly crowded. The staff is as okay as it gets because they are mostly teenagers or young adults. But overall, fine to go to with family but not the best for a first date or anything. read more

I really like this place. The prices befriend have been $5-$6 during the day time which makes it really affordable. They also have electric reclining seats that are comfortable. Snack bar is a little expensive but this is normal for most movie theatres. They have a large selection of movies and times to choose from. It's a relatively peaceful theatre unlike some that are noisy and rowdy with kids and crowds. Recommend if you are looking for a nice evening out. read more

Bullet Train was rated an R; it was a heavy R. I asked the ticket taker after if she knew the rating and she said no. I pointed to a clearly under 13 year old boy she allowed in with his grandmother. I also told her 3 of the 4 toilets in the men's room were broken and it was a health violation. read more

Came to this location for the first time today to see Top Gun Maverick after purchasing tickets online last week. Immediately walking in the employees were acting a fool behind the counter. I had never purchased tickets online before but had the confirmation email on my phone. There were no signs on where to go to have them scanned. I asked one of the girls at the concession and she acted as though I was interrupting their playtime behind the counter. Closest bathrooms were out of order and they were doing some type of construction all around. In our specific theatre, there was a loud humming noise which was extremely distracting and interrupting the movie. Multiple people complained of it. I went to inform a manger about it at the beginning of the movie and was told they would look into it. Apparently nothing was done because the sound didn't stop until we were three fourths finished with the film. I felt as though I didn't get the full experience for a marvelous movie. IT SERVES IT PURPOSE Cinemark Theatre 12 is not a brand new state-of-art cinema, but it's a good clean place; not Holy Moly's Donut Shop (from the Friday movie series). It shows almost ever movie that comes out, unlike some theatres. Their prices aren't as high compared to most, this day and age. It's conveniently located near plenty of dining options for those who have the time and want to fill their stomache with something other than typical Theatre offerings. I dont think I've ever encountered a rude employee in all of the years I've been coming. I love watching movies here and would recommend anyone do so as well. So. The first thing I can say is the staff are proficient in pretending you are invisible. I attempted three times to interact and all three were the same. Trying to figure out where you are supposed to be and how to get your tickets etc is ridiculous. Presuming the snack bar people know but they arent talking. My seat was broken. This theatre is okay. I go when I want to see a movie by myself after work. Just to catch the matinee which last time I went was only 5 bucks ! Can't beat that price. The theatre when I go is never full and according to my friend when she goes even at night it's not full. Never a line to get tickets or concessions. So apparently the last question I asked about Cinemark was not appropriate. There are several comments about roaches at this theater. I go there often and all I was asking is If the roach problem was resolved. I dont find that question harsh in any way. So, by a simple question being asked that got taken down (keeping in mind very tactful), I raise the question how many bad reviews of a business is taken down that the viewers do not get to read. So as for Yelp, I'm out of here. There are other sites I can easily go to. Hopefully the board of health can fix the roach problem? Recently renovations have been made to the theater and the improvements are great. Seating has been upgraded to roomy leather-like recliners that lift your legs and/or lean your seat back in a smooth motion, with drink holders in the arm rests but still allowing you to raise it for those lovebirds who want to cuddle up or parents with kids maybe. Very comfortable. Oh yeah, FYI its changed to "reserved" seating now also. No more walking in to meet up with a group of friends. You need to know their seat numbers so you can get a ticket near them. No big deal in most cases, unless its a really popular movie on opening weekend. read more

Now, he can't sit by himself, nor can he walk but they made me pay for a seat??!!!??? So we had to buy four tickets and the fourth seat was empty. (a wasted seat) We already can't take our one year old after six pm and I kind of understand that but making us pay for him was ridiculous. I was denied entrance into the movie theatre because I had a backpack purse. I purchased my concessions and the racist behind the counter left the counter, got the manager to stop me from going in while people walked by with actual Jansport backpacks and beach bag size totes. The sign clearly stated no BAGS larger than 12"x12"x6". I was first told that the policy didn't allow for any backpacks although the sign didn't specify that...then I was told my bag didn't fit into the measurements and it clearly did because he measured it. When I mentioned that other's went in with larger bags, I was brushed off and still denied entrance. This messed up my mother's day outing with my son because we rode our bikes to the location so I couldn't even take my bag to the car...racial profiling at it's finest. The best two things about this movie theater is its proximity and convenient access if you live in Rosenberg, and The reclining seats are also a plus. However it's frustrating that you only get one free refill with a large purchase. The theaters themselves aren't cleaned very well.
