Do not use this place. They steal your packages that are confirmed delivered and signed by employees. We have multiple packages of value "missing" even though the UPS driver received signature verification from them. It's under investigation at this time. Will be filling police reports also as well. Due to customer response I'm adding the facts. Ups did deliver the package to this location. It was signed for by one of the employees and this was confirmed. The package remains missing and was not returned. ( why wasn't it, if their claim of unauthorized was true which it wasn't. ) our company was paying for these services. Why don't you fix your problems rathet trying to throw the blame back ? You can see from all the reviews this is an ongoing issue. Why UPS allows thier branding at this location makes no sense. Still proceeding with all I can do to put a stop to this. You were contacted multiple times about many packages. The person that signed for it even admitted he remembered signing for it. It wasn't just this package. It has been multiple packages. So please elaborate on this unauthorized claim of yours. I've been a box holder at this location for over six years and a UPS box holder at various other locations for 15+ years. The price for this service has increased annually and is now about $260/year for a small mailbox. This location came under new management around October 2022 and, as such, a few hiccups were not unsurprising during the transition. One would expect these to be ironed out as time went on however it seems they have gone from bad to worse. Aside from the utter chaos of unsorted packages and mail strewn throughout the store, I have been advised they have implemented a new policy of not guaranteeing delivery of packages for a day following their receipt. To be clear, if a package has not been checked into their system you cannot pick it up even if you are staring straight at it. Furthermore, if they don't notify me of the receipt of a shipment until the close of business on the day following receipt, I'm looking at a two-day delay before I can pick up. Since I often pay a premium for next-day delivery, I find this policy to be unacceptable. When I reached out to the new owner to express my concerns, surprisingly, instead of discussing actions being taken to resolve the problems, I was basically told I needed to lower my expectations. The owner went on to state they are doing "better" than the previous management had done. Well, I beg to differ. There is no need for the store to offer any further input as your position has been heard loud and clear. And, for what it's worth, I am now communicating with corporate while looking for an alternate solution. read more

In general I've found this store to be well staffed and reasonably fast even if there are several people in line. Staff has always been polite and friendly. HOWEVER, 3 stars instead of 4 or more because on my last visit, I didn't have a box for the item so I purchased one from them (not big, something like 14x14x8"), and after it was all boxed up and ready to go he says it's $8 for the box. Seriously? I asked to check and yup that's what it was. Later I looked online and it says boxes are free to UPS account holders. I am, but the guy didn't mention that. Irritating. read more

This is the worst UPS location I have ever had the displeasure of visiting. Even though I had an appointment and showed up 15 minutes early the jerk that was providing the notary service had me stand around and wait for no apparent reason. He then proceeded to find every possible excuse that he could to not do his job, and in the most rude and condescending manor possible. It was obvious they didn't want my business and I will never go back. P.S. I didn't catch the jerks name but he looked like a weasel and an Oompa-Loompa had an offspring. Took $20 and 8 days to get keys mailed from Astoria to Portland OR, a distance of 98 miles, and 2 hours driving. When opened the box it had ZERO padding (no bubble wrap, peanuts, crushed up paper, etc), so the keys and key fob bouncing around in 4 inch box, with nothing to protect it. Lewis (according to his name tag) helped us and it was such a pleasant experience working with him. I have been talking about our encounter with him all day because it really made an impact. I would not give this location even one star, but I didn't have that option. I went to this location in early December and Emilio provided notary services. It took about 10 minutes to complete the transaction. I went back for notary services a couple weeks later. I waited in line for over 45 minutes as I watched customers come up to the front of the line to pick up their packages. None of the employees told them to go to the back of the line. Also, one of the customers did not have her address ready, but was given over 20 minutes to search for the address on her iPad while she held up the line. However, when I finally got to the counter, Emilio told me that he could not notarize my document until there was "no line in the store." He told me I could stand in the corner and wait. Customers were coming into the store about every 30 seconds and after about 30 minutes, I realized that the store would never clear out. I called a place closer to my home and they said that they service their customers on a first-come, first-serve basis. I have no problem waiting my turn but it's hard waiting when you have no idea when you will finally get help. The ease in which Emilio turned me away was very disconcerting and humiliating. It was as if my request for notary services was a major inconvenience. UPS should not offer this service if it is inconvenient to do so. I would have felt better if he had simply said that he couldn't provide the service or asked me to make an appointment. He was incredibly rude and dismissive. I will not be returning to this store, but I doubt they would care if they lose customers! I went to the other shipping store in Gearhart and they were true to their word and very courteous! read more

What your package to go missing? You found your place! Sounds like this store has an issue with missing or possibly stolen packages! Not one but two people reporting on here within 4 days of missing packages! Sounds a little fishy. We get no help from the store what so ever. I was told that I would get a call back twice and no one calls. I went to the store twice to see if the package showed up and I was told to go to the UPS hub and see if they had it. Don't you think they can pick up the phone and call them. The entire time this was a me problem and not a them problem. Like I am the one who lost the package. So I could get a replacement item shipped to me I called the store to see if I could get something showing that it was lost/missing and that I did not pick up the package. You guessed it, no help. Police report filed, UPS claim filed. I had to give 1 star as 0 stars is not available. read more

On March 11, 2022 I had a marvelous experience at your Warrenton, OR location. Your driver, Taylor, really went above and beyond to fix a problem I was having. My husband was on a work project in New Mexico and needed a critical piece of equipment ASAP. Here it was late on a Friday night. Branden at the counter expertly packaged my items. Taylor had loaded his truck but waited patiently until my transaction was completed before leaving. Taylor was very friendly and reassuring. Thank you for hiring such a great guy. Yes as mentioned in other reviews tape and shipping boxes and envelopes are NOT FREE. But I'm not sure why anyone would assume they are. The UPS store in Warrenton Oregon is a #1 business. We needed a secure place to receive mail, including mailed Pharmacy items. This was it, and it's been terrific. But it doesn't stop there. They have notary services also. We used that. Sending a package? Need box or other? Bring it in, they professionally package your items. We used that. The store itself is user friendly. No stairs to climb. Very clean, and products are well displayed. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. read more

My only complaint would be the people they have to suffer with about the silliest of things such as needing to pay a dollar for taping up your package since you didnt do it yourself or the whole misguided use of the Heppa law to avoid proving you had been vaccination. Extremely poor and egregious treatment I received at UPS store 5816 by DeBee the manager in an out of control tirade. Is it UPS policy that the method of conveying policy to it's customers is to rudely and loudly lambast them the moment they walk in the door? More importantly, is it UPS policy that to impart store mask policy, ADA violations are allowed and a customer is grilled about their specific medical conditions? Is it UPS policy that when another customer, obviously embarrassed for the customer being poorly and unprofessionally treated, tries to diffuse the situation and is told loudly by the manager to stay out of it and also treated rudely by the UPS manager? Is it UPS policy to offer a face shield to the customer and, after the customer accepts that offer of a face shield, to instead be offered a cloth rag from under the counter, balled up in the managers hand, that has been who knows where, rudely flung on top of the counter? That in and of itself nullifies any assertion that this had anything to do with safety. Would you put that on your face? If the above is not UPS acceptable customer service procedures, regardless of the policy issue, I would think that UPS corporate would want to follow up and address those salient issues. read more

Wow. I was asked by UPS to call the local UPS store to have them ship an item that was too large to go 'regular' and had to go Freight. This owner 'DB' was rude, condescending, and had zero customer service focus and skill. It's a shame, because in my experience the local folks who work for him try very hard and do a good job with me in the store. I am sure UPS would be disappointed in this franchise owner. read more
