I worked in print studios for many years in New York where the quality of output is held to an incredibly high standard. Pushdot is one of the very few places I've found since moving that consistently meets and exceeds my expectations. As a fine art photographer I require the best papers, inks, and color balancing. I know I can breath easy with pushdot, and I am a crazy meticulous client. The are constantly catering to my sometimes very tight deadlines, and my specialty projects. They print on the industries BEST giclee printers, and offer a wide variety of archival mediums. Pushdot is a digital production studio with an art gallery inside. I've never used their scanning/reproduction facilities, but I have visited their gallery many times. The gallery either mostly or solely exhibits artist working with computers, and the stuff they show is usually very good. Definitely worth a stop on your 1st Thursday tour. read more

I had to get a high quality print of a digital piece for a gallery, so I went to Pushdot, and I couldn't have been happier. I was nervous going in, but the staff was so friendly and wonderful. As Pushdot Studio has received many positive YELP reviews, it is clear that many customers are satisfied. I believe that the way a business treats their unsatisfied customers is a stronger indicator of their merit as a good business to choose to work with. What if you happen to be a customer who is not satisfied with the end product? Therefore, I hereby respectfully request, again, a full refund for unsatisfactory results obtained from Pushdot Studio. My multi media dimensional art piece is very difficult to capture for reproduction. Pushdot was the first studio I approached, and they felt confident that they could do the job. Pushdot used a Betterlight digital back on a 4 x 5 view camera with studio lighting. However, I was not satisfied with the results. The colors were not as in the original and the resolution was very dark. A printer, whom I took the digital image to, agreed and referred me to another studio who made a second studio capture, using what they claimed is currently state of the art equipment: Nikon D810 camera, and Zeiss 100mm f/2 Makro Planar lens. The results gained are very like the original art piece and is the image being used to reproduce into prints. Since I live out of town, I emailed Pushdot Studio to discuss the situation. Lincoln stated that it would be necessary to see the original art to compare their studio capture and the second, superior capture. Therefore, I brought the original in with the captures for Lincoln to see and compare. He admitted that the capture from the other studio was a closer representation of the original artwork. Also, that various lighting would produce different results. He advised me to use the capture of my preference. This comment did not satisfy me. On the contrary, it was rather insulting. Of course, everyone is going to use the superior image. And it became clear that there was no reason for me to make the special trip to bring in the original. He could have communicated, via email, that even if the second image was superior, Pushdot had no intention of offering to make reparations. I pointed out that I remained an unsatisfied customer and inquired if Pushdot desired to offer a partial or full refund in order to satisfy a customer who did not receive the product desired, yet found it elsewhere. Pushdot stood firm and declined, even when I mentioned that in my unresolved quest for completion, I would add a review on YELP. read more
