We have had a mailbox at this UPS/Mailbox Etc. location for 25 years plus. Since the new ownership in 2018/19 the service has went down substantially! This has been ongoing and continues to decline. This is our business mailing address and we have relied on the service provided. Since the new ownership the business has replaced all of the original staff with new employees. The new staff are overworked and understaffed. They are not really customer service orientated. To access packages sent to the address, mailbox customers can no longer go to the counter if other customers are in line for mailings, etc. Therefore, it is often days before I can get my packages as I am not able to wait for lengthy times to get my packages. Mail to the actual mailboxes to be deposited often and daily are not deposited in a timely manner. I am unable to get my mail because mail is not deposited regularly by mid to late afternoon. I have stated my dissatisfaction of these problems to employees on multiple occasions. I am reluctant to change my patronage to another business as I have had this address for business purposes only for more than 2 decades. I sincerely hope the owners will take steps to move back to a customer service based business. If you pay a monthly fee to recieve your mail at the location you should be able to get your mailings daily without waiting in a line. read more

Ive had a mailbox at this UPS store for 16 years and they were outstanding up until about a year or year and a half ago. I used to go in to get my packages and it would take 5 minutes or less. I was in there the other day and it took 25 minutes as they only have 1 person working at a time. Long lines are now the new normal here! There might only be 5 or 6 people ahead of you but one of them has a big order and we all just have to wait because of the lack of employees. I think there was a change of ownership over a year ago and thats when this place went to hell. They hiked prices. It's not that the new employees are bad, It's just that there are NEVER enough people working, usually only one. read more

We are one of the major antique clock dealers in the U.S. and have been a client of UPS Store No. 0960 on Mountain Ave in Upland for over twenty years. In that period of time we have shipped literally hundreds of higher-end antique clocks through this particular store (and with other UPS Stores spread across the country). That is until this store changed ownership and both their service and attitude went south. All of our clocks get double-boxed. These stores are trained in professional packing methods, at least they were under the prior ownership. The new owner managed to purchase the store and drive away the key employees (Michele, Paula) of the former franchisee... and now they are driving away their longtime customers with crummy packing and an absolutely absurd attitude. The last shipment we took to them was purportedly packed by the new manager. It should have arrived in PA unblemished given that the instructions were to double-box the clock. In street parlance that means to wrap the clock (and sub components) with bubble-wrap then put peanuts (now banned by UPS so replaced with air cushions) around the clock in the inner box; then that box gets air cushions around it in an outer box. No brainer. Well, it apparently was for them as the clock was damaged in transport and a claim filed by our PA buyer. We took another clock to them this week and they told our customer they would only ship it via ridiculously expensive second-day service. I guess they knew that their packing was so crummy it would not hold up for more than two days! SO... because of their inept packing they have a new "policy" that they won't ground ship and insure an item with a value of over $900. Oh, you can ship a $3,500 item with them but they will only insure it for $900. Stupid policy. Ignorant policy. Long-term client departure policy. Ugh! Don't try reasoning with either manager Deeisy or, heaven help you, with the owner who would not even speak to a client of twenty-plus years. Unbelievable! SOLUTION: We recommend that you use the UPS Store just down the road a bit at 154 W Foothill Blvd where we have moved our business. No need to deal with a store where you may have problems and an ownership attitude that sucks. AVOID THIS STORE ~ THERE IS ANOTHER ONE CLOSE BY! read more

So I go to this store today at 2 pm. Store is empty. I have a package which I need a little tape. I'm greeted by this lady, Hispanic I believe. She is very unfriendly. No greeting at all Just comes out of a back room. I tell her I need to ship this pkg. already has paid postage. But I ask her for a small piece of tape. She says cost is one dollar. I am fine with paying a dollar mind you. But have shipped many pkgs at different ups stores and never been aske for money. So I casually say o I didn't know there was a charge Is this new policy. And she answer in a real B----- attitude no its always been like this... I pay her the 1 dollar without comment. And say have a nice day.... she responds I will and will not let you ruin it... you would have to be there to appreciate her bitterness. I have been there on three occasions, spoke to three different associates to get a key made and nobody has known how to do it.

The ladies here are always friendly. I've never had any issues coming here to drop off my returned Amazon purchases. This location is clean and I've never run into times where this place had a waiting line. read more

Been going here for years. So this isn't based on just one experience. It's just ok. Only two stars because of the larger older lady (not the notary lady). This lady always has a grumpy face. She's not very nice. Her tone is impatient and a bit haughty. But the worst thing is she speaks low and garbled. It's like she doesn't move her lips. "That will be five dollars." Comes out like, "thwefahdos". I still go there, but can't wait for another store to open up nearer to me. By the way, there's a young Latino lady who started working there about a year ago. We've had a box there for approx 1 year. When we signed up, they told us the mail is normally out by 11am every day. That has never actually been the case though. We have to call on a daily basis. We are lucky if they mail is out by 3pm. We have our business mail sent there and we are not satisfied with the service they provide. Most of the employees are kind but they are always "too busy" to have the mail put out at a decent hour. The only person that needs to put a smile on her face and be more polite to the customers is Paula. Once they actually lost one of our packages and we told them we never picked it up. They ended up hey found it the next day and we didn't even get a "sorry for the mix up." On a positive note, they provide the service that emails you when you have a package that was delivered for your box number. That is very helpful. Also, their location is very convienent and there's never a problem with parking. We would not recommend other people to this UPS store. read more

This is a relatively nondescript UPS Store. I really like the fact that they have affordable Notary Public services in-house, and this is why I go here. The NP's are not always super fast, but they are always pleasant and professional to work with. They also offer packaging services, post office boxes, mail drop, and UPS pickup. read more

Horrible. Overpriced, price gouging. I went to send a small letter, bought the mailer from them , and they wanted to charge me $7.00 to mail it 30 miles away. I left in disgust, drove up the street to the post office on mountain and baseline and they put a stamp on it and mailed it for 71 cents!!! This place is run by a greedy person that makes sure to gouge you at every step, the employees are great but the management and policies are really out of whack with being a valuable service to the community. The employees told me themselves that they are trained to send at the highest cost and hide the cheaper option at every turn. I used to give them my business but for shipping large items (anything larger than an envelope) I go to FedEx/Kinkos across the street and they are always consistently 40% cheaper on everything. I never read the reviews on this store until I applied to work there....I have been there before and the service is not friendly, and now it makes more sense, its the new owner! So I applied for an opening position, and I never got a response. So I moved on with other applications to other jobs, and the owner of the store contacted me via email today, asking if I was still interested, and he asked me what availability i had, how many hours I wanted to work (part-time btw), and what pay I was looking to get. So I responded to all his questions (Scott), but apparently he didn't like my answers and he rudely told me that I didn't have experience in the field, that 32 hours was a full time, and that he needed availability on weekends. At the end he wrote "Good luck"! If the owner is rude and unprofessional, what can we expect from the employees? I would advice anyone to try the store in Euclid and Foothill for your packing and shipping needs. Its only two lights away on Foothill and the service is awesome. No one should experience rudeness when the service is not for free. After all, customers like us is what pays their salaries. As for me, I am so glad he was rude, because now I know not to work for such a jerk!! read more

I've worked with numerous USPS, fedex, and UPS stores and this particular UPS has the best customer service of all which, truly, makes my job 200% easier. I've come in here twice. The first time they helped me choose a box (from a whole lot of size options) and then patiently found the most cost effective way to help me ship. Today, Brianna was helpful and kind - I haven't had customer service like this in years!! Who goes out of their way to help a customer AFTER they are closed? These people. I went into the store to have an oath completed by notary. This is one of the few places close to me that keeps a notary on staff everyday so I really had no choice because I urgently needed a notary. This happened on 11-4-2020 in the AM hours. I went to notary training as well and have been a notary for the past 4 years so I do know how to notarize documents. I asked for a very specific notary act called an oath. Meaning I read the oath that is prewritten on the face of the document, the notary would hear me say it, check my ID, watch me sign, and then add seal and record in notary book. This girl forcefully wanted to give me a jurat which is not what I asked for. I asked for an oath but she would not budge saying that the verbiage was not there, but OMG this oath document is directly from the state of California recorders office, why in the world would this not be correct?? So she fills out the jurat and I told her I don't want a jurat I asked for an oath. She says ohh well I'll give you the oath after ‍ at this point I am frustrated to the limit of my patience. Then she stamps my official state document with a see attached stamp!! Jesus H Christ!! You just defaced my official document. I had to call the recorders office to let them know what happen and the representative I spoke to told me in the 10 years he has been working there he has never heard of a notary not signing an oath directly. I should have gone with my instincts and knowledge and left the ups store as soon this notary gave me indication that she didn't know what she was doing. I had to send in my docs as is but if they are not accepted I will be filing and errors and omissions claim against this UPS store and it's notary. Be very cautious about having important documents notarized at this location. read more

I called this location today about a missing piece of mail at my corporate mailbox. Apparently I called the wrong location and the employee started yelling at me for wasting her time and hung up in my face!!! Ironically, I live in the neighborhood and do use their mailing services from time to time. Going forward I certainly won't give them my money. I was so annoyed by the service of this store that I felt compelled to sign up for Yelp just to leave a review. Here it is: Clearly, these people have no idea what they are doing. It would be in their best interests to use their down time, which is 90% of the time, to learn the system, maybe some geography, and how to ship packages overseas , instead of dawdling about the shop.
