I came by here to drop off an Amazon return. It was around 5pm on a weekday and it was slow. There were a few printers available for use as well as good quality office supplies for purchase. I would not recommend this location based on my experience. After shipment, the package weight was adjusted and I was charged additional fees that did not match the original receipt weight. I retained photographs of the package and documentation of the original shipment details for reference. I encourage others to carefully review their receipts and any post-shipment billing adjustments. read more

Worst UPS store I've ever been to. I went to drop off a package and already had the label on there and asked if I could just have a piece of tape to tape the box shut. He told me that would be $1.09. $1.09 for one piece of tape?!?! Are you kidding me?!? I had to go back out to the car to get my purse to pay for a piece of tape. Absolutely ridiculous.. We brought in computer equipment that my husband needed to return to his previous place of employment. The information needed to complete the return is in his cellphone. The two clerks at the store insisted that additional information was needed. They refused to complete the transaction. They were extremely rude and uncaring. We went the UPS Store on Frank Lloyd Wright and Via Linda. They helped bring equipment into the store and processed the return in 5 minutes. read more

I use this UPS store quite often, Ivan is usually the employee who helps me. I am always greeted with a big hello, with an even bigger smile. My elderly parents use this location as well, and Ivan goes above and beyond to help them with whatever shipping assistance they need. I highly recommend this location! read more

I am in complete shock at how rudely a UPS employee at this store named Katherine just treated me. I walked in the door to complete some Amazon returns at 6:28, and they close at 6:30. She flatly says, "We're closed." I say, "I thought you close at 6:30?" She says, "Yeah." I say, "It's 6:29." She rolls her eyes with no verbal response. So I say ".........so can I complete these returns?" She huffs and says, "Yeah." Then she proceeds to huff and puff and mutter to her co-worker as I pull up each QR code on my phone. A couple times it wouldn't scan so I offered to turn up the brightness, and she just wouldn't even speak to me. Finally I just turned it up, and it of course fixed the problem right away. This employee threw a full-on tantrum for having to stay at work for an extra 4 minutes. I've never felt so uncomfortable in my life as a patron of a business. We've all been there when a customer walks in at the last minute and you're ready to go home after a long day, but Katherine failed to show even slightest amount of patience or customer service skills. read more

I ordered near 200 copies for printing and, not only were they not ready when the website said they would be, the store never printed them at all. On top of this, when I went in to pick them up at the promised time, one of the associates was very rude. I do feel it's important to mention that one of them was kind as well but still couldn't help with my problem of not getting the copies. I emailed the store the files again but they were still never printed. I called the main customer service line for UPS online to get a refund but they dropped my call twice while I was on hold. Then I emailed them and they never responded. So now I am out almost 200 copies and over $100 and I had to find another place to print my papers for my event last weekend. Will never print through UPS again and would never recommend. read more

I called ahead of time to see if they had a notary and if so, what time they stay till. I was told 5:30 pm. I arrived at the store at 4:07 PM and said hi I was told you have a notary on duty. There was three people in there and one gentleman said no we don't. Then said, I'm leaving now and I'll be back tomorrow. It literally takes five minutes to notarize something. I stay late at the hospital as a nurse all the time for people to give that extra five minutes of care (more in most cases) and he couldn't wait around five minutes. No wonder the store only has three stars versus some of the others. Bad customer service. read more

Went in just to buy stamps. They charge $1 per stamp or $20 for a book of 20. The current price at the post office is 73 cents. I understand needing to make a profit and marking things up, but not for stamps. Seems cheesy. Other stores I've been to charge face value for stamps. WOW. I went to do some Amazon returns, and never have I had any issues until I went to this UPS store. I politely asked him to please not cover the Amazon label of the item being returned with the label he affixed. Josh kept socializing and ignoring me, and despite me being ready with a return code to be scanned, he scanned when he was done socializing. He then again puts the printer label on top of the Amazon item label, and I removed it and asked him to please not cover the label, again. He said his boss said he doesn't have to listen to me and he can do whatever the fuck he wants. Excuse me?! Wow. Never had I ever had anyone speak with me so unprofessionally and rude! I'm having a hard time believing the bad reviews and truly think they have either been planted or the customers had unrealistic expectations for this store. I have never been to a UPS store where I didn't have to wait, that is just how it is, they are busy. Also, tape is not free. I stopped by this UPS store to return a package using a postage paid return label. I left the package open as I normally do in order to ensure the shipper that my package contains legal contents. They insisted on charging $1.00 as a "prep fee" for taping the box and label. I have never experienced this at any other UPS store. I drove up the street to another UPS store at Scottsdale and Pinnacle Peak. They closed up the box for shipping without any issues. I'd avoid this particular UPS store. One dollar isn't much in the overall picture, but it's ridiculous to charge for a minute of time and a piece of packing tape! read more

I have used this store for a long time, despite the fact that they are overpriced and have long wait times. Today I brought in an item with a ups tracking receipt. I thought they closed at 7, but they closed at 630. When I arrived, the door was still unlocked and I walked in while other customers were leaving. I was told to leave because they were closed. The store is always clean and hand sanitizer on the counter is within easy reach for customers. Wow, I used to live in the area 3 years ago and this was my go to for every shipment I needed, and was awesome, accommodating, and made every effort to get my last min things out. Well, I was just in area today, went in to find new employees and a grossly opposite standard of service, poor employee attitude, and attempts to screw me it seemed instead of try to be helpful or accommodating. Im sincerely blown away at how horrible my experience was, the man behind counter who (didn't) helped me obviously hates his job and other ppl and shouldn't be working anywhere that deals with ppl. Totally unacceptable and absolutely will never go back, in fact wish I could rewind time and not have gone in at all; it left me with such bad taste in my mouth that I now am in a bad mood. This particular UPS Store location at 10632 N. Scottsdale Road is conveniently located at Scottsdale Road/Shea Blvd. Carrying packages just a few feet to the door is a breeze. I'm always met with a kind "May I help you, a smile and/or with we'll be right with you." I conveniently drop of Amazon returns (if Amazon states "no box, no label needed free of charge), and I'm asked if I'd like a receipt (some UPS locations don't offer this courtesy). Another great service provided is a small fee for packages I didn't have time to package, as required from a company by me for a return. The owners are very nice and easy to communicate with . I visit this area often and when I need UPS service I would never think of using another location as this one has always been great with me . I've always had a great experience coming here whether it's for shipping or key cutting needs, yes, you read that correctly, I get keys made here as well. There are always 2 employees working at the counter whenever I come here which is nice because it keeps the line moving and by line I mean the three customers in there, including myself. But hey, at the post office there might be three employees present, but only one at a register despite a line of 3-8 people so bravo UPS Store, I like your style of getting the customers in and out in a timely manner. To boot, the employees here are friendly, professional, and informative. I've brought items I have needed packaged and shipped and just hand it over for guidance and I'm always given options depending on how much I want to spend or how fast I need it to reach the destination. The employees are also really good at spotting packages that just need to be dropped off and will have you walk to the front of the "line" to do so - again, not to waste anyone's time. Despite it saying the UPS Store out front, I will come here to simply get my keys made. Why? Well, of the 7 or so keys that I have had made here there success rate is at 100% which is a number that I cannot give to the two other hardware stores that I've tried for my key cutting needs - there is nothing worse than testing the new key and it not working, ugh. A plain ol' key will cost $1.99 and there is a (small) selection of the decorated ones. This location also offers post office boxes, office supplies, and printing services. I'm a fan. read more

This place seemed average for service. The location on Indian Bend and Hayden is a ton more friendly. I would consider FedEx for overnight letters or very small packages. They are around $30 cheaper. It cost me $64 here to send an overnight letter to Miami. Compared to the post office or even fedex this is ridiculously overboard. At those rates, your not looking for that business and I don't think UPS is competitive in that market. It's a convenient location, a little dark and creepy but it's still in Scottsdale so I wasn't fearing for my safety. read more
