Horrible experience at this location. All I wanted to do was mall 3 small packages but as I am waiting in line they continued to assist the people behind me because they had amazon returns. 5 employees behind the counter and apparently only 1 for person there for those mailing packages. After the 5 people in line behind were seen I finally got called to the counter. Then after all that the lady was incredibly rude to me. The first question she asked me was whats inside the packages. I told her a gift for my sister and she said what type of gift like it made me feel super uncomfortable. I told her a shirt, a card, and shes says what else. Like she wanted details on each item. Then she asked for an ID which I thought was weird. I just left at this point with packages in hand. Will never return. Please don't waste your time or money. read more

While they do their jobs, they pretty much come across as hating what they do. I gave a "good morning" to one guy and he didn't acknowledge my greeting until I left with an, "enjoy your day". I get the feeling he isn't enjoying his. On the service side, nothing was said when I brought my cable box in. I put it on the table, he scanned it and gave me a receipt, and I left. Zero stars should be a choice. Dropped off items to be packed. Instructed the man behind the counter on how packaging needed to be done. Talked to the person who would be packing about how it needed to be done. I paid for "fragile packaging" and shipping and left store. Felt very uneasy and that feeling continued. Had a friend go rescue the package and when opened up, was packed completely opposite of what was requested. These were hand and foot molds of my 10 year old son that recently passed away. And I did explain this to both persons I spoke to. They would have been ruined had they stayed the way they were packaged. And they are irreplaceable. Very disappointed. If you need to return an Amazon package, they seem capable to handle that but I would not trust them with anything of value. read more

I HATE that this is the location closest to me. I feel trapped and suckered everytime. This is a PRINT SERVICE company, literally says it on their uniform shirts but everytime I come to get something printing I'm faced with inadequately trained staff members who simply do not know how to work computer or printers. Useless. Despite the UPS website stating they do fingerprint cards, after standing in line for 15 minutes the employee behind the counter informs me they don't. No "sorry," no reasonable explanation, zero. Nothing. Just a goldfish look with the accompanying mouth gaping! Honestly, do they bother to teach customer service anymore? So rude. I got there 5 minutes before 4 (they apparently were closing early) and the door was locked and I knocked. He came to the door to let a customer out and said they were closed. I told him I was there before 4 and you ignored me. The rude employee wouldn't let me in for a 2 minute transaction to return an item to Amazon. My package was ready and it would have taken less than 2 minutes. I was the only one at the door and they couldn't spend an extra 2 minutes! I was there before 4! BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. They look like they would rather chew glass than take care of customers. I don't understand why they charge $1 to accept a return USPS package and inform you in a rude nasty, tone that they won't give you a receipt. Maybe your employees should consider giving a receipt considering all your staff does is drop the package into a bin for the USPS employee to take them to the post office. This is the only UPS I trust with my business. I'm here almost every other day and the manager Tony is amazing with fragile wrapping and handling multiple shipment orders. Some post offices get annoyed with constant multiple fragile packing orders but not this one. They welcome you. I've been able to grow my business faster due the comments that include "very well packed" and "wrapped well for protection". For a small business, all the comments matter in order to build trust with customers and secure purchase. None of this is possible without the help of this store! I'm so grateful for this shop which is starting to be my second home since I'm such a frequent flyer! Ha! I've attached some of my customer comments about the quality of packing from this facility. Edit: owners response is meaningless. If there were actual COVID guidelines in place, you would only have room for two customers in the store. There were 8 when i was there...because most of your employees were in the back and not helping customers. As for UPS guidelines, this is the only UPS store out of close to a hundred that has told me that I need to wait in line to drop off a labeled package. I guess the Yelpers can decide from your plummeting reviews if they want to give your store their business. Give your business to companies that treat you well. There's a FedEx across the street, another UPS an exit down at the college, and several companies like Michael's and CVS that can quickly take your prelabeled packages. This time I used Michael's across the street and it took me less time to drop it off and get an emailed receipt than it took to be ignored by the staff at this store. I use a ton of UPS stores on the road, and this one surpasses the worst of the worst by a far margin. Lazy staff that work at a snails pace, long wait times, 5 minute transactions for customers that should take 30 seconds. This last time that I visited, I was told that I had to wait in the 15 minute line to drop off a package that was prelabeled. Ridiculous. read more

I cane here because my son needed his phone next day delivered but found out that due to the holiday they did not deliver next day they could fly it down but wouldn't get there till Thursday and I would have to pay $112.00. I decided to go to post office so I asked do you wrap and how much because I'm going to post office instead the young lady said we can mail it out for you and she said it will get there Monday. I didn't think it would get there since it was a holiday but it would be $100.00 cheaper. The only thing I didn't like is the fact that they don't offer you other devices that they have such as the post office because they were quick to give me the price for airfare. This store is located in a strip of shops right in front of the very crowded Culebra HEB. Service is very quick and the only bad part is that parking is very tight in this area. Keep your head on a swivel as many people pull out with no situational awareness that other cars are near them. This UPS store shares the strip of stores with a variety of other stores to include liquor, food, and nail salons. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable and I never knew that UPS offered a 10% military discount. Thanks UPS as I did not even ask for it but they let me know about it. read more

I have done business with this location for over TEN years and after occasionally using different locations due to geographical reasons or a customer-specific issue, I can say that I am grateful THIS location is the one my business uses most frequently day-to-day. The service is always fast and professional and in the event some issue or question must be "kicked up the chain" (I ship internationally and often have oversized or valuable shipments) the owner is always accessible and helpful. Most importantly, the packing is ALWAYS above standard...I often am complimented by my customers how well-packed their order is. I ship hundreds of items annually that require UPS or professional packing and the VERY FEW times I have ever had a concern the manager has easily resolved it or the owner contacted me directly....personal service like this is a RARITY these days. read more

So I go into this UPS store to send a package to Ohio. The counter guy asks me when did I need it delivered by and I told him Tuesday the 3rd of April. He tells me it will be delivered by that date and then charges me $32 for two day delivery. Well today is the 3rd and come to find out the package didn't leave San Antonio until the 2nd of April at 9:35 pm and won't be delivered until April 5th. I call the store and talked with someone who said he was the manager but don't know if that's true because he wouldn't give me his name. I ask him why the delay; I was guaranteed 2 day delivery. He tells me; once it leaves our store it's out of our hands. So I'm like do I get a refund because you didn't meet the deadline and he says no we don't refund shipping. They have a larger selection of envelopes and boxes compared to the one on Bandera/1604. I try to ship small things from here due to how pricy it can be. Shipping is fast though. read more

THE. WORST. SERVICE! I have been coming here for years for my mail and the service has continued to decline, the store manager Tony Jacobo lets his employees right in front of him treat patrons as if they are worthless, and like me as a customer should be thankful for their help, it really should be the other way around. The employee Marisol is out of control most days, I hate that this has to be said but I hope that for my sake the the sanity of others this issue WILL be addressed. Additionally I put a one star because it wouldn't let me continue with no rating, but really this location deserves a 0-. If it's a requirement how come none of the other stores do it? You're the only one I've been to that does. So either it's your requirement for your store or every other store is wrong. You could always just have a sign that says we can't send blank blank blank and ask the customer, are you shipping any of these items? USPS does that and they're a government bureaucracy. And several attempts?? You called me one time over two weeks after I filed a complaint on the website. Once! No email, no follow up call, once! Talk about speedy customer service. And lastly, you have an excuse/reason for everything I pointed out except the terrible customer service from the employees which in my opinion is the only point that truly matters. I am in town on business and needed to ship a few things back home. I drove by this UPS store so I decided to stop in and ship the items back. I have used UPs stores all over and they are typically wide open but as soon as you walk in you you are hit with signs and arrows. I was working my way through the maze reading signs, looking a copier that reminded me I needed to make some copies as well. Before I could finish looking at the other services they offer and continue through the maze one of the guys behind the counter that was already working with another customer hollers at me to "Follow the arrows, they will tell you where you need to be." My husband occasionally sells something online and needs to know the shipping cost before sending. He has been quoted a price one day and then it doubles when he goes in the next to actually ship.
