Poor attitude they act like they are just want to grab Amazon returns. If they want to be a shipping point. Designate one clerk for that purpose. Call the store they never answer the phone. Change the printer ribbon once is a blue moon so you can read a tracking number to cheap to do that even. I ship Fed EX from now on read more

The UPS staff asks each client to photograph the labels the store prints for the client's package. A UPS Store staff member told me they do this because of multiple accusations of stolen packages at this location. The store is dirty, it's unorganized with no leadership to help with questions. There is no one to expedite or triage or protect the staff from an angry rude customers. My credit card has been charged twice on the same day for the same service. I stood in line for 30 minutes to correct their mistake, they did not apologize. read more

I went in today to inquire about a package I thought would be delivered to this store by UPS. (It was there). Upon my inquiry, the lady whom I believe is the manager/owner, was very snip-pity and discourteous with me. Almost to the point where I felt she was treating me as a common criminal. I called ups and, did find out it the package was at this location for pick up. When I came back in to tell her my package is here, she very rudely said "I need Id" which I produced. This is the last time I use them, In fact it will drive me to use Fed Ex or The Postal Service if they are the only choice. Music is so loud they couldn't hear my address, the lady was singing and talking with another gal working there and had to ask me several times to repeat my address and destinations. I am not the putting anyone down that cannot spell but this is ridiculous. She had 4-inch fingernails and couldn't type the address or numbers in correctly. I had to spell, East, Northwest, Avenue, etc... Believe me if I didn't need it sent, I would have left. I was there just short of 1 hour for 3 small packages and I had all my addresses written down and ready to go. I have had rude experiences there before but this one was over the top. There were several people waiting in line for me to spell out the correct address letter by letter and number by number while she was looking around either singing or asking another worker what they were doing. I've used The UPS Store for shipping and as a drop-off. Located centrally in St. Cloud, it's a better option than trekking out to the UPS facility with their limited hours. Unfortunately, most times I've been here, there's been a wait, and customer service can be a bit spotty/unfriendly depending upon who you get. One word: useless. These fools are now 0 for 2 with me. The first time was about a year ago. They wouldn't ship a package unless they knew what was in it. I was shipping 4-5 things for internet orders and wasn't EXACTLY sure what I had put in them before I sealed and labeled them. It took some tooth-pulling but they eventually "let me slide" after having me break the tape on one of them so they could verify that I wasn't shipping who knows what. I vowed to use fedex from then on. Today I was next door and had to ship a package so I figured I'd try again. This time I had a street address and city, but no zip (I have a hard time remembering zip codes). She asked for the zip, I told her I didn't have the zip but I had the street address and city, state. Apparently that's not enough. Apparently there's no way to ascertain the zip code from that information, even though every online mapping software does it no problem. I asked if she was serious; if an international shipping company whose primary focus is getting packages between zip codes is unable to look up the code of an address with their software (or with google maps on the computer sitting next to her for that matter). She said no. I went to FedEx and they had no problems finding the zip code. Thank you UPS, for reminding me of why I don't use your services. read more

The previous reviewer said it best. I have never met such a useless UPS store as this one. Honestly, I feel semi-guilty writing this review as a very close family member of mine owns a bunch of UPS Stores in another state, but this place is just plain useless. Firstly, their copy machines are the oldest I've seen. I think they were produced before I was born. I wasn't even sure how to use it (and only needed one copy!). The girl working the counter was not willing to leave the counter for a split second (even though we were the only customers in the place!) to show us how to tickle that friggin' dino to spit out our copy! I was at wits end with this girl at that point, but then when she charged us $3.00 to put a piece of tape on our UPS envelope but would not actually tape it up in front of us.... GRRRR! I mean seriously, WTH?! Never again. read more

You know, I think something's changed there since the last reviews, but I've had nothing but perfectly pleasant exchanges at this UPS Store. I have been collecting all my UPS packages here for the past few months (about 5-7 so far), and the people there have been courteous and helpful. I'm still not a fan of paying to pick a package (which I probably already paid shipping on), hence the 4 stars, but it's better than having 3 attempts to deliver to my impenetrable apartment building, then drive out to West Bumble**** to go get it. But can't there be some sort of "frequent flyer" plan or something? You know, points for every package I pick up or send from a UPS store? I know I'm going to have to do this in the future when I move to NYC, so I'd really like UPS to show their customers some love (since the MyUPS feature on the website is buggy and useless). Most probably the worst I have seen in shipping and packaging, in terms of customer service and all things UPS. I have had issues with the employees there in the past but just recently I was blown away by how rude they can be. I called in to see if they could alter some details on a delivery and they very rudely replied that they were just a UPS store and I had to call the main 1-800 number; and right after saying that they hung up on me. I absolutely hate dealing with the UPS Store in town but can't help it as most of my packages (from Amazon or other sources) come through them. read more

Well I read the reviews before I went there, was hoping they just had bad experiences with that store. Well I head up in there with a framed picture I need to send, not only do I get treated like crap, but the lady proceeds to tell me its $60 just for the packaging!! Well I remembered last time I did this, I went to Fed Ex and they charged me $12 bucks to package it... So I tell the lady thanks but no thanks, im not payin $60 to package this thing, that doesnt even include the shipping charge! So I bring the item over to Fed Ex not only do they only charge me $12 for packaging it up, but my entire total to ship the thing was $31.45 I honestly felt like going back to the UPS store and showing them my receipt and laughing in there face... Talk about a screw job, theyd screw over there own grandma if it meant the store would benefit from it. Thinkin about contacting corporate, these employees are sub par at best and they are extremely arrogant, almost cocky. With no sense of customer service whats so ever!!! read more

REDICULOUS!!! i needed a 2" piece of tape put on the end of a box i'm shipping & she tells me i have'ta buy a roll... i look at their retail wall to see it's $6.99 a roll... R U Kidding? then she tells me "for $2 we'll put a piece on for you"... GREAT! So either i give you $2 for a TINY piece of tape, OR i drive back home in hopes i have some! i can't NOT tape it - if it opens in transit, guess who's internet company will probably charge them $100+ for the modem not being delivered!?! Geesh - nothing i hate more than feeling ripped off... i realize it's just $2... but where the customer curtousy - just tape it for me, you JERKS! don't charge me cuz you know i NEED it... I have nothing but gratefulness to Paul and his staff for the service they provided in resolving my problem this week. I arrived in Minnesota for a short visit, and then on to Oregon, only to realize I had left my driver's license at the TSA checkpoint at the BWI airport the night before. After contacting TSA lost and found, I located the license, but needed a prepaid mailer to get the license back. Paul took the time to prepare the mailer, verify all the information and then fax the mailer info to TSA in Baltimore so that I received my license back the next day. It is impossible to get on a plane, rent a car and probably a lot of other things without a driver's license. Paul got me done what I needed, with quick service, great attention to detail and confidence in working with the government. The end of the story was a happy conclusion, and a UPS customer going forward. Brand X down the street was not interested in helping at all. read more
