Do Not Patronize this store! I was treated so rudely here. I was returning an Amazon package and the label on a return was not covered by tape. I asked if they could just tape over the label (4"x6") and I was told it would cost a dollar. I said I thought out of courtesy they would tape it, and he responded, "Why, you didn't buy it from us". Rude, arrogant, and such poor customer service. The previous staff was so professional and friendly. I felt like I was dealing with a bratty child and he was a grown man. I'll drive to Staples before I set foot in that place again. I wish everyone in town would boycott this place. read more

Dropped off a large box with a pre-paid label. I received a receipt. When I confirmed weight with agent he said he had just estimated it. I asked if he could please weigh it for me so I would know. He went off on a rant saying I should not use corporate labeling and should get my label through them. If I didn't then I should buy a scale. His issue is with UPS not me. A very ugly personality affecting his business. Think he might have been the owner. Don't worry I'll be back with a corporate label. Again and again. Don't like it, take it up with UPS. That's THEIR policy. And oh look, I had given this company a 5 rating in 2021. Now a 1. Treat customers well or you won't be in business forever. read more

Horrible not once but twice this has happened! Be very cautious. For years I have enjoyed the smiling, customer focused staff at the UPS Rowley, MA store for all my shipping and other needs. Also been a frequent Amazon customer and have enjoyed this local UPS store as a business alliance provider when I have an Amazon return. I dod not have many of these thank goodness. Twice this month it happened and both returns have been totally messed up and I have worked with Amazon to make it right. I tried to engage the staff and it was fruitless. I cannot ever trust a transaction there. I will drive a little further to a different UPS store to receive the UPS service I used to enjoy. read more

I had a package to ship with prepaid printed label, needed just a small piece of tape. I've never had an issue with ups applying that to tape the label. They were rude, and the entire store was disorganized. Went down the street to another ups and they packaged it no problem. read more

shipped 8 golf clubs from rowley mass ups store. asked for slowest/ cheapest rate. $143.00 ! clerk said prices have gone way up and that usps would charge me $176.00 (lie). once in florida i took my unopened package to the local ups store - $35.00 to ship to my front door in mass. i then took package to usps and quote was about $43.00 for 48 hour service ! used ups online calculator and got $35.00 quote. called ups customer service (1st time) for rate quote..."about $35.00 sir". finally called ups for rounded off refund of $100.00....no way. these store casn set their own rates... careful...check other ups store and don't rule out usps. i'm done with ups and will gladley pay an extra 10 bucks for better service and treatment. read more

I went in there to make a return and the guy said I had to provide my own back so I did and then when I went back in the store, I asked for two small pieces of tape for the side and he said we don't have free tape I said really? And I said well could I use your stapler and he said no I said are you guys really that cheap and he said next time don't come and I said great customer service. First of all they told me that they were open until 4. Not true. Yes the store is open until 4 but the computers are automatically turned off by 3:55. I went in on Saturday at 3:50 and they told me "sorry the computers are down already". Then I was told by an angry female employee that I should've arrived earlier in the day and that I would be able to come back on Monday and pay $100's of dollars to get my package where I was sending it to for Tuesday for overnight delivery. I have never in all my 59 years of living ever been so rudely treated.!! I will NEVER do business with this store again! read more

I went in there to mail a small package 8x8 inches in a bubble envelope. They wanted to charge me $13 and told me it would get to its destination by Tuesday. I went to the post office and mailed it for less than$6 and was told it would get there by Monday. I had some 8x10 photos I wanted laminated. UPS cost is $19 each. I went to Staples where the cost was less than $3 each. Draw your own conclusions! read more

What an extremely rude manager (Hannah). Absolutely unhelpful when I walked in to send a package. I had a second day air UPS shipping document and a small box and asked her to fill out a label for me to attach it to the box and she refused. She made it clear to me that they are not part of UPS and they need to get paid for doing these services. Even when I told her I was happy to pay, she refused to do it for me. I'm not sure what it is with these franchise owned UPS stores but everybody that works in them seems to be disgruntled and upset. Unwilling to help people and an absolute lack of customer service skills. Fortunately there was another gentleman in there who worked for this rude and abrasive assistant manager. He was willing to help but the loud mouth came out of the back telling me to leave the store. Not that I go there a lot but I can guarantee you I will never go there again and I will make sure everybody I know in the Georgetown, Rowley, Ipswich, Newburyport area knows how people get treated at this UPS store. Maybe if Gayle the franchise owner cares enough to put this Hannah manager through some training and communicate it, maybe people will change their mind. I'm off to the US post office. Why give money to a franchise small business they could care less about the customers they're supposed to support. I can get that from a US post office any day of the week for pennies on the dollar! read more

Worst customer service ever. I brought a Return package to this store with a prepaid label and they wouldn't take it because it was too large (30"x30"x18"). It fit in the back seat of my car - no problem. They said that I had to bring it to a "corporate store" in Danvers. When I asked them to give me the address and call ahead to make sure that the store would be open (it was Thanksgiving weekend) the guy literally said "That's not my job". I know all these stores are independently owned and operated. Do yourself a favor, and don't use this one. read more

I have used this particular UPS Store in the past but was never really happy with the service, but since this is the only one around - I continued going there. The last two times I went, a young man by the name of Kyle helped me and he is just awesome. Kyle exemplifies what good customer service is all about. If i could give them zero stars I would. If you put yourself out as a UPS Store then you should be able to bill a shipment to a UPS account number. It's that simple. Plus, their customer service was pathetic. No help at all in resolving the issue at hand. The people at this store are useless. I had the address of another UPS store that I wanted to ship to. They could not find it in their system so I asked them to look it up. The answer was "our machine does not have internet but you can look it up on our other machine but we will charge you a dollar." Customer Service at it's best. It turns out I had the correct address and I confirmed it by calling the store I wanted to send it to. Again Something this UPS Store could have done as courtesy and part of the UPS Family of Stores.
