Here's the thing about old documents,like maybe some of you out there, I still had a lot left going back some 16 to 17 years. Now like a lot of people out there I have a shredder. This is where neighborhood parcel comes into the picture. They are quick and efficient. If you take the drive up there my advice is to look for parking space 999( no not even making this up) as that is right in front of the building. They remembered me from a few years ago (hey I had a ton of old papers then). They are friendly as well and weigh each loose bag by the pound. Ironically I filled out and had them mail out the notarized certificate of document destruction. They will also email it to you only if you prefer. I can't tell you how much time they saved me (as I am getting to that stage in life of weighing time vs. money vs. the fact I won't do it all myself in this case). The relief of knowing that these old documents I was never going to look at again were all gone is priceless. He's the owner. He listened to my situation, calmed me down, and stated "I will help you." Word that NO ONE said at the airline nor DDD. I provided him with information, he promised me he would take care of me. I went to bed. At 11:00am, my son received his luggage. All I can say is LISTEN.RESPOND.DELIVER that is the slogan for this company. I am extremely grateful that Greg took my call and was willing to help a parent like me at 12:30am and do as he promised. A month earlier I had taken my machine to the actual Formax world headquarters up in Dover NH. Formax begrudgingly fixed one gear for about $250 total and then tried to sell me a new machine -- giving me an inflated estimate to fix the one I have to make buying one from them look better. Then I found the DeBourke Company a couple of weeks later. They were able to schedule an on location service call for a day or two after my call. DeBourkes technician came out and did a great job -- in fact he has it running like new. If you own one of these machines I am sure you know - you'll either get ransomed to have it fixed or sold a new one.
