Still no reply from owner regarding my refund for my $50 2 day shipment guarantee that arrived in FOUR days! Pathetic owner; support "worthy" local owners; this is not one of them! read more

I would never use this UPS again. I usually take my Amazon returns to Whole Foods, but while leaving Kroger I noticed this UPS and decided to change my returns to UPS instead. HUGE mistake. I went to the self service kiosk, but one of my five boxes top came open and all the contents fell out. So I walked up to the counter and asked a 40's Hispanic woman with just below shoulder length black hair, and THICK winged eye liner if I could have some tape for the box. She replied that she couldn't give me the tape gun but that I could bring the box to her and she would put a piece of tape on it. Now, before you start replying that "it's not UPS's responsibility to tape your box for you", the piece of tape I was asking for was just enough to cover the little flap that keeps a cardboard insert into a hole on a cardboard box, that then keeps the box closed. AND she replied that she would tape it. However, when I brought the box over, she just put it into a plastic bag. I asked her politely if she wouldn't mind just putting a little piece of tape over the insert so the contents didn't spill out into the bag. (Amazon has gotten crazy about not giving refunds when "every piece was not returned" even if literally every piece is in the bag). She replied that the bag would keep all the contents together. As I handed her the next box I repeated the request for her to please put a small piece of tape on the insert. She sighed very audibly and threw her head back slightly. She put a small piece of tape on the box, dropped it into the plastic bag and sat it to the side. I handed her the next box and she didn't even bother to look at me as she snatched it and dropped it into a plastic bag. I told her that I appreciated her taping the box to which she gave a non-verbal answer....I wasn't rude, I didn't make a ridiculous request and I didn't get angry, yell at or be little her, or demand that she tape the inserts. Yet, I was still left with a bad taste in my mouth after the interaction and found myself just wishing that I had instead gone to the clean, fresh aired Whole Foods with workers who greet me kindly and treat my returns with care. I can already tell I'll be on the phone with Amazon returns for these products to "fight" about how I should receive my refund. I will not be coming back to this UPS for anything, and I suggest that you don't either. I will drive the 6.2 miles out of my way, past this UPS, to take my Amazon returns to Whole Foods. Oh well, guess Bezo's wins anyway. read more

I went in today to get documents notarized. The attendant made a copy of the signature file along with my driver's.. I don't get things notarized often, but I do not remember ever the notary making nor keeping a copy of the document... I called another UPS location and I was informed that NO, the notary does not keep a copy. That is not acceptable... I had to drive all the way back and retrieve that document. And it wasn't even stored in a secure way, it was just in a unlocked drawer with a lot of other papers, maybe other customer's official documents as well! THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. There is a lot of personal information on these types od documents that need to be notarized! Shame on you!! Your location cannot be trusted! Note: I talked to Christian, at the Livernois location to confirm this. He said he has been a notary for 10 years and there is no reason to make nor keep a copy of the notary page.... PLEASE, if you have allowed this location to provide you with notary services, your documents may also have been kept.. With personal information being sold to the highest bidder, this stores business practices should be put under scrutiny.. I will be filing a formal complaint. read more

I would like to take a few minutes and let the owner/manager of the store know how much I appreciate his employee named Alex.. today it was 93° and I had a very large heavy box to return to Amazon through UPS.. I got it out of the back of my car and took about three steps and there was Alex to take the box from me. I so much appreciate her kindness and willingness to help me. Bless you, Alex for caring enough!! read more

The redhead girl with glasses doesn't seem like her job, always give attitude when I asked to make a return package. I know I have to pay for the label, but she didn't give me the change back, even if it's a small amount, with her attitude I don't want to consider it's a tip. I was waiting for my change and she said that's it, you're all done. Where is my change girl? read more

I went the iOS store to get a package shipped out. there was an issue with the order and address. now this wasn't their fault. however the owners / manager gave me an 800 # to call. she was not very helpful and i found her tone and demeanor to be in acceptable. I would not return to this business unless absolutely necessary. read more

Seems like every time I go to the UPS store in Rochester, Michigan, I am met with unfriendly associates, who often make snarky comments about other customers after they leave the store. Makes me wonder if they're making snarky comments about me too. It's just poor customer service. read more

The absolute worst UPS store I've ever gone to. Such rude staff. They wanted to charge me for asking for a piece of tape. I said never mind I'd take my packages elsewhere and she said I couldn't because she already checked them in. I'll be going to the UPS store in troy from now on- they are very friendly and helpful! read more

Michelle did a fabulous job. Made it a one stop shop for notary, copies, mail... Thanks read more

I went to this store to ship a package and when I told them that I wanted it insured for $1,000.00 the drama started. They asked if I had a problem with them opening the package and looking at the content (parachute harnesses) and I said no but be careful if you use a knife so as not to damage them. I was told by the team member that I would have to use one of their "UPS approved" boxes (for additional fees) even though my box was brand new and used to ship the equipment in our industry. Then comes the manager who says that each harness (four) would have to be individually wrapped with bubble wrap and re-packaged by them at my expense. Now the total is over $100.00. At that point I was tired of the add-ons and asked for my box and items back. I went home put the items back in the box, taped it up, and drove to a regular UPS facility that accepted it and insured it for $1,000.00 with a smile and a chuckle when I told them what happened at The UPS Store. My final bill was $41.00 and while I don't mind paying a little extra for the convenience 300% + is a little excessive. I'm not sure that people realize that stores aren't owned by UPS and that you can sometimes be paying a HUGE price for convenience! read more

Counter folks were nice. Management at this location was rude and unhelpful. I had a prepaid return that I dropped off. No big deal. Went in with no issues. The next day, I came home in the package is sitting on my front porch. Somehow the manager said the UPS guy must've skanned the wrong label. Imagine it could happen. My complaint is the managers attitude. I don't know if she was the owner or the manager but she claims she is only at that location once a month and basically my inconvenience is my problem, even though I have been that her store. No solution, no sympathy. No nothing. So now I have to be inconvenienced and re-drop it off again. I know there are mistakes, but once again, this is the bedside manner of the manager. That's why I hate going into these little stores. Next time, I will do everything that I can to use FedEx. Go FedEx! read more

Returning a package to Amazon and they wanted to CHARGE me $1.04 to tape it closed, I bought my own roll of packing tape for $1.88 and closed it myself using $.08 cents worth of tape! Poor customer service. I'll stick to the UPS store in BLOOFMIELD much better customer service!! read more

I had to ship something to my son in Europe. It was a special neck pillow. The manager helped me fill out the paperwork properly because the Italian post is very particular about what you are shipping and where the product was made. I had no idea it would be as complicated and she helped this package get through with ease. Every time I have brought packages in, the service has been friendly, quick and efficient. read more

Went to the UPS Store, need to send some of my thing back to my other needing help to get the boxes out of my car trunk, Mark came running with a store cart. Great Service, Fast, and Courteous. The people here have always treated me well. They have no control beyond their store - so don't blame them for what happens elsewhere. Yes it costs a lot to have things boxed up instead of doing it yourself. They have always offered to help me get things to my car that were too difficult to carry. At least they don't steal your stuff like the Post Office. read more

The employees here are do not treat people right at all. Impudent, unprofessional, insulting and immature. They need to be careful what they say otherwise they will be held accountable for their actions. Very juvenile. Be smart and take your business elsewhere. They do not value you as a customer. Shameful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

So the staff is fairly friendly but the speed of service or at least acknowledging my presence could be better.

UPS is getting as bad as the airlines when it comes to nickel and diming you to death. The customer service at this store is poor and the workers are disorganized. Recommend you go somewhere else. read more
