Great friendly service, every time I go there to either return something or ship something out. One time I didn't have a box and they offered to box it up and tape it all up for me. This might not seem like a big deal, but I've been to USPS where they refused to even give me tape, from the tape dispenser sitting next to them, to help tape up my package, but instead, required me to get out of line, to grab a roll of tape to purchase, from another line. Store was supposed to be open at 8:30 when I got there. Did not open until 9:00. Sign on the door and Google both say 8:30

They will charge you $1 to print out a call tag. I've never had to do this at any other location before and wanted to up charge me for a simple return. They are not kind and very rude. read more

This store needs better customer service. The staff must be more helpful and seem annoyed when customers come in. Rude service and I have seen them throw customer packages. I will not go here again. It is close to me, but I will drive further, and I took my package to FedEx, rather than go here and pay my money to ship something through UPS and pay my money for poor customer service. The worst! A week ago I dropped off an item to be returned to Amazon and got a tracking number receipt. After checking the tracking number today, it showed that the item hadn't even been shipped. When calling the Riverwoods UPS Store, they had no information on where the package was and said once they gave me the receipt, they had done their job. I reminded them their job was to ship the item, not just to hand out a receipt. No manager available to speak with. Avoid this location like the plague. read more

I had an antique piece of furniture "shipped" last March it came ruined. Worst service ever! I flew in to get this sent to Georgia and was assured they would take care of it. All glass when received only one thin layer of bubble wrap and one layer cardboard box. I have pictures to prove this. They lied and never made good on the insured value. I disputed the 500 charge and thankfully received that from Amex! Which only covered the ship price not the value or 1200 travel expense I used them because of Yelp reviews so needed to let everyone know DO NOT Trust this store! Do not go to this store - they have little to no experience on printing needs. I wanted to print something on a 9x12 trace paper, but they refused to print since they "have never printed on such a paper before" which was odd because The UPS Store in Schaumburg had no issues printing on such paper; both stores have identical set ups and printers. Again, I wouldn't trust this store with your printing needs and would instead go to a different printing store. read more

DO NOT TRUST THIS STORE! They mishandled my girlfriends package which then caused it to be lost. It took over a month for her to find someone helpful in the search for the package, and EJ, the manager, was condescending and rude. The service at this store is abysmal and they will most likely lose your items. You will be much better off with FedEx. read more

I really needed to send a package today. It's a Saturday and this store location is open until 3pm. I walk to the door and it's locked. The two store employees see me trying to open the door and one of the employees points to his watch. It was exactly 2:59pm and they wouldn't open the door to let me in. What jerks?! Literal morons that work here. They've messed up my orders, shipped to the wrong place, broke several packages, and I was given barely half of the insurance amount on the broken packages. They always measure an extra inch on LxWxD on the packages so you're forced to always pay a little more than normal stores. I bought a box directly from them and they added 3 inches to the whole dimension which ended up to be an extra 30 bucks on a large package. I argued these points but they just do not care at all. I have no idea how these idiots are allowed to work here. I wish I could say I'm exaggerating but I'm being as honest as possible. The store needs to completely get rid of their current employees and get new staff. I'm now willing to drive an extra 15 minutes out of my way to go to Fedex just to avoid this craphole. I needed last minute prints of my sons birthday invitations and thought I was too late to get them. As stressful as it was, EJ made the process so much easier than I thought it would be. I sent my information to the store email and within 24 hours, EJ had all the invitations printed, cut and ready for me to pick up. I highly recommend this store for all your printing needs. I just left this location. Some punk that hates his life was on duty. This guy was all attitude. He took my return label and handed me the receipt. He then walks away without saying a word and I hear him rummaging around in the back. I figure he went to get a box for my return. Nope! Another person comes in and he comes back to take care of that person. I am still at the counter as he proceeds to completely ignore me and take care of the other person. After several minutes he finally says something like "are you done?" I said I was waiting for the box and so I could put the return slip in it and pay for the box. He says "whatever you want" and charges me $7 for the box and STILL doesn't get it. I ask him a question to make sure the return slip will make it onto the box because at this point the return label was somewhere else, nowhere near the return item and the return slip. He says "that's what we do here." I finally leave the store. After I go I can see him talking to the other person about me. Most UPS stores have excellent customer service. Not the Riverwoods location. Stay away! read more

Attention!! Don't go to this ups store it's under new management, the old owner phil was a great person who really cared for his customers him and Josh they both have been beyond amazing with their service and knowledge of shipping. I have been coming to this store for many years now and I have never been treated with so little professionalism until the new guy helped me out. Young Indian guy from what it looked like to me he didn't seem to know what he was talking about I brought my package in to ship and he quoted me on an outrageous price for a box that was only 8 pounds going with in the state. I took my business to the actual ups hub where they gave me the right price. I explain to them what happen at this ups store.
