I've been a small business owner in the community for 34 years, and even though I've moved away, I…read morehave still brought business to this Minuteman location in Deerfield. Most recently I have asked for business cards to be printed back in August (or possibly July) and after at least 2 weeks without any contact, I called them and was told that their graphic designer has been on vacation (or sick . . . I don't remember the excuse). They apologized and offered me the cards without the cost of designing a proof. Would have been a nice jester except another week went by without any contact again. When I called them this time, I was told that the designer only works on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Well, at least 2 more weeks have gone by without any design proofs, and I have emailed them twice as well. I am extremely disappointed in their lack of professionalism and business ethics. I want to see the proof they promised, and my business cards printed and delivered for the agreed quote.

The owner, Alex, is a nice dude, but a poor communicator. My laptop was having crashes, and I…read moredropped it off in early June for troubleshooting/diagnosis. I called after several weeks and he promised he'd have the problem diagnosed within the next couple days and call me back. Several additional weeks went by and I called again with the same response, and then once more a few weeks later- a total of 2 months of wait time without any progress or evidence that anything was done at all. I eventually gave up and got my laptop back myself to look at. Googling my error messages indicated that my RAM was faulty, and after replacing the RAM (a 15-minute procedure), my laptop works fine. It took me ~30 minutes of total active time to troubleshoot and solve this problem that I had previously waited 2 months for the owner to fix. I'd guess that Alex was overcommitted with fixing other machines to focus on mine, which is fine if he told me a realistic estimate (i.e. "I'm really busy right now, but check back in a month and I'll give you an update). Instead I got drip-fed inaccurate timeline estimates. Overall, I find it difficult to reccomend going to this business to get your problem fixed unless you have a really easy software issue to diagnose/fix on the spot.
