The contract is full of penalties for the customer if we are not at home when they deliver. They promised delivery on the 11th. It's now the 24th, and no one has called us, no updates, no explanation. It seems they can delay as long as they want and break their commitments, while we are expected to sit at home and wait for weeks. On top of that, if we leave and miss their random delivery attempt, we risk getting fined - even though they already missed their promised date by two weeks. This is unacceptable. Payment should only be collected upon delivery, not in advance for this "great" furniture shop ! Never again with this store, and I would not recommend it to anyone !!!

Unfortunately, Lisa had no time to help me. The next day I contacted the store but again, Lisa had no time to help me. I did leave a message for the store manager to call me. However, "Taylor" did not return my call. I then stopped by their location in Skokie. They had the chair. The sign said $1650 was the price. But when the salesman rang it up, the price had jumped to $1730. A supervisor I called at the corporate level could not explain the difference. Then a customer service woman called me to say they quoted a chair with lumbar support. I did not ask for this extra feature. I was not told the sale was being rung up with the add on. I could not get the store to see what the problem was here. So I will not be buying from Penny Mustard. If you are buying there, double-check the posted price versus what is rung up. Something is definitely off with their selling practices In my opinion.

Once they die I will go to Lowe's and buy off the shelf. Don't waste your time or money on Calico's products. I am very unhappy with the outcome.

I like that and I keep that person in mind as I walk around the entire store. They have nice credenzas (I haven't used this word, in like 8 years), dining room tables, chairs, beds, lamps, rugs, etc. I used to assemble furniture part-time, while I was in college, so assembling furniture is a breeze for me. However, some of the furniture comes preassembled, like my credenza. Whether you're trying to furnish an entire house or wanting something in particular - I suggest visiting here. We received the couch today and the delivery guys put it all together and left no mess / damage. It probably helped that we took our doors off prior while we moved our old couch earlier in the week. The one annoying part was how pushy they are about their warranty. I do not care for it. I realized while he as putting our quote together, it included the protection plan.
