I found myself at FedEx this morning, in which the man at the counter kindly directed me here. The UPS here is in a prime location- right near a Dollorama , Bosley's, Shopper's Drug Mart, an a skytrain station. The woman at the counter today had exceptional customer service skills. She had a large purple and pink button on her shirt that said something like "I'm happy, ask me how" and so I asked her. Although I am genuinely a happy person, I couldn't help but ask her about this large button! She was fairly vague about it. I then asked her if it had something to do with the cross around her neck (as I'm a Christian) and she said no. She said she no longer has that 2:00 lull in her day because of one specific thing she does that makes her happy and no longer tired. She said she can't explain it but that it works, and that if I want to know more about it, she can send me a video and I can decide to do whatever I want with it. I wrote my email address on a notepad for her and will be waiting to hear back. For all I know, she's going to send me some information about a cult hahaha. I will update to let you all know. I liked this conversation starter. Our world is more connected yet more lonely than ever and I liked the way she brought humanity and deeper human connection into an everyday errand for me. I also liked that UPS allows her to do this (assuming it's not actually a cult haha).

We were dealing…read morewith a client that finagled the system but wanted to return a package to us here in the U.S. This depot informed us that the customer was missing forms to ship to the US. We got her the proper forms only to be informed she needed a Waybill. We called asking could we either fax or email it over, the guy on the phone said sure. We then realized, the waybill was multiple pages but wanted to follow up because we wanted make sure it was ok to still send over. The man that answered the phone wouldn't let us get the question out and proceeded to hang up on us. In hopes of getting someone else on the line, we called back to only be told "just email it like I said, its that simple" then hung up.

    After 7 years of dealing with different owners at this location my experience with the new owner,…read moreOmar, was very bad and I was forced to move my busines somewhere else. I was forced to return my mailbox keys. All this happened because on February I wrote a review about the experience I had at this location . I mentioned in my review that he needs some customer service training as he was very rude and aggressive in his communication. I mentioned in my review that I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt as maybe he was having a bad day. Two months later, I received a letter telling me to return my mailbox key as I am not welcomed there anymore. Obviously I was shocked but I realized there is nothing I can do about it and the guy is looking for revenge because of my Google review. Found this ridiculous but whitout no choice I moved my business somewhere else. I went to the store to return the key, and to my greatest surprise, Omar told me that I shouldn't return the key, that I should continue with the mailbox. I declined respectfully. To Omar: I hope you're business will trhrive, but treating your clients with disrespect it's not the way to go. The competition is wild out there, and the ones that survive, are the ones that do it better than others. I sincerely hope that what happened here, is a lesson to you.
