I have been a customer of The UPS Store #2927 since December 2020 until yesterday. To caveat the reason for terminating my PMB, it was because the use of the mailbox became an inconvenience due to my work not being close by the store, not for any decline of service or other reason. If it was still convenient to stop into the store, I would likely have continued to renew my PMB because the cost averaged ~$20/month and there were discounts on services that I used. The value of the small PMB was definitely worth it for the reasons that we got it in the first place. For the first 3 years, the service was great. Jenny was a great employee and very friendly every time I walked in; she has been missed. Most days I would stop in to pick up a package, she would see me and have the package ready for pickup by the time I got to the counter. However, through 2023, the service began to decline as new employees were hired; they just did not have the same level of customer service or seeming work ether that Jenny had. Also, over the past 6-8 months, anytime that I would stop in, the service was fine, but it became more of a transaction-only experience and less of a personal feeling. Overall, the staff has still met my needs (which over the past 12-18 months has primarily been drop off Amazon returns or picking up a package), it just has been a different level of service than I had been used to. I never had an issue with the cost of the services I needed (packing, shipping, printing), but printing a single page from email I sent was pricier than I had hoped (charged for email and for printing). When I needed to ship anything, I have always been presented the "best" option as well as other options at a higher (faster) or lower (slower) costs. One upgrade that I would have loved to see would have been adding the ability to access the mailbox outside of business hours. There is a card reader on the front door which could have possibly allowed access (with a security gate blocking access to the rest of the store). read more

Usually my go to place to ship out returns, my last experience was horrible. Associate was very disgruntled to everyone who came in throwing f bomb frequently. When I asked him what his problem was and why he was being so rude he told me he had already put in his notice and was sick of all of us mfers. read more

SCAM ALERT!! They will STEAL your money! I went to this store after comparing quotes with FedEx online to send a package to my brother via 2-day shipping. The quotes I ran online were "detailed quotes" accounting for the measurements instead of a quick quote, which is just based on weight and shipping origin and destination. The measurements of my box were 11"×9"×8" and a guesstimate on it weighing between 3 and 4 pounds was going to cost less than $50 with UPS. I arrived shortly after 5PM coming straight from work not wanting to miss the 5:30PM cut-off. The cashier took the shipping information including the weight (3.21lbs) and measurements using a measuring tape. She rang me up to a shocking $83.47. I told her that I ran quotes prior to coming and the quote showed I could expect to pay less than $50 and she explained that the significant price difference could be due to the measurements, which I responded 11"×9"×8". I proceeded to pay the $83.47 knowing I did not have enough time to run my package to FedEx. Once I got home, I noticed the discrepancy when I read the receipt. The cashier entered 12"×12"×10" as the measurements of my box, which is surprising when I saw her measure the box with measuring tape behind the counter. I called corporate and they were able to get a response from this UPS store quickly, which stood by their employee and measurements and calculation of rates. It was also insinuated by UPS that I (the customer) did not know how to measure a box and that perhaps I measured only the interior space of the box. Even if I was dumb enough to do that, cardboard is thin so I would've only been off not even a quarter of an inch. I asked the representative at corporate if I could email her photos of the box along with measurements once my brother receives the package to prove that I was scammed and she happily gave me her email address. The photos have been emailed to said representative who will be in contact with the store again, this time with the photos. I'm hoping corporate will be able to get a refund to me quickly and that they make "personnel changes" at UPS store 2927. Photos of my receipt and of the package are attached so y'all can see for yourself. TL;DR Avoid this UPS. They enter false measurements to scam you out of more money. read more

Terrible customer service! I went out of town and left an important item behind so my husband went to our neighborhood UPS store to ship to me overnight (Saturday delivery). I knew it would be ugly, but the first quote was over $200. He asked if there was anything cheaper with a delivery later in the day. The clerk found something for $95, which hubby said "go ahead" to do. He told me Sat delivery by noon. Sat afternoon came and no delivery so I asked him to check the receipt. Turns out the clerk booked delivery for Monday by noon but never mentioned that to my husband at the time. To make matters more insulting, there was a $15 fuel surcharge on top of the $95 shipping charge, gulp! My husband went back to the store to see if we could get some sort of refund (or even a store credit) and was told absolutely not. They accepted no responsibility for the miscommunication. One would think that they could meet us halfway... but nope, not one penny. We will never, ever use this location again. read more

After 2 years, I finally received the insurance payment of $100.00. The time I spent was worth way more than that but it's obviously the principle. I did everything I was supposed to in regard to the process and procedure that UPS Store/UPS requested of me to process my claim. I also provided proof over and over when the ball was dropped. To this day up till payment was finally given, The store did nothing and proved nothing on their behalf. Just lied. read more

Went in there to mail two letter and get one paper print out and they want to charge me 5 dollars. So I told them I didn't want to mail it out instead want to print out the paper the guy told me he didn't want to give me services. Whatever buddy went to post office paid a dollars two mail it out and print my paper at library for 15 cents. Worst service ever read more

The manager and the vast majority of the employees are very friendly and professional with the HUGE exception of two very old and extremely rude female employees. These women are unbelievably lazy and incompetent when it comes to basic tasks and customer service. They hate military service members so if you are active duty, I would go elsewhere if possible. I was never told that UPS should pack nor was it ever suggested to have UPS package my items when I purchased the $5000.00 insurance. Go somewhere else. I went to this store to send my daughter heirlooms from me, it was my first jewelry box from my husband and her father and a lot of expensive jewelry. This was in Nov 2018 I insured every thing for $5000.00 and was told that it would be air shipped and handled with extra care. Yea sure, It arrived at my daughter house box smashed and the jewelry box was totally mashed, a fresh water pearl necklace was completely destroyed and missing some very valuable rings. The folks are friendly and professional, but honestly, the pricing, when the dust settles on packing and shipping is TOTALLY OUT OF WHACK!! I paid as agreed, but realistically, for the $80.00 I paid to ship a small, framed poster and two books---I could have driven the 3 hours, hand delivered and returned with gas covered and enough left for a nice lunch...........I blame myself at this point, but will never happen again!!! read more
