I went here for Annie Sloan paint and I thought maybe the other reviewers were just locals who were expecting a lot but I unfortunately the reviews are correct. They are not friendly and I did feel as if they were doing me a favor. Oh well; I won't go back and I doubt they'll change based on this review. Went in today to send a package via fed ex. The lady behind the counter checked my package in, hardly said a word and as I was looking around I hear my package hit the ground. She threw my package on the ground!!! I said to her. There is a brand new all in computer in that box. She said. Hmmm ok! Like she didn't care at all. Will never go back in there and everyone I know will hear about this. So disappointed. Get another job if it's that hard to be civil. Filed a complaint with fed ex. The woman behind the counter seemed so cold and rude, almost like it was an inconvenience that we were even in there; god forbid you have to ask her a question! The way she answers leaves you feeling dumb and like you should have known all along. She was rude and snappy to us and to the people behind us. We will never go back and don't recommend. Would rather WALK twenty miles than go in that cold dark place again. read more

I went to pac and fax last Wednesday to mail a envelope, I asked the guy working how much it would cost,he told me and I assumed he weighed the envelope he told me what I owed and he put the postage on envelope. Well today I got envelope returned to me saying there was .47 cents postage due now I have to take to a real post office and pay again just to get this mailed. I will never go there again they don't know what they are doing. read more

I was skeptical about the nearly half dozen reviews that stated no one helped them for a long time when they went in. I was skeptical when they said the customer service was horrendous. But I'm here to tell you: believe the reviews. Never in my life have I been treated like this as a "customer" at any business..particularly a smaller business in a beach town....which you'd think would have great customer service and would be willing to help. I'm going to admit, I went in just to send a Fedex package. I called ahead, let them know I was coming. I get there 5 minutes later. I walk in, the door chimes. When I walked in the door, it was 8:33 a.m. By the time someone acknowledged me (after having not one, not two, but three people literally walk past me, look up and keep walking), it was 8:51 a.m. I had an older lady, later identified as Sharon, walk right past me, look up, not say anything and walk into one of their rooms with two dogs. She walked back out of the room and looked away as if she was purposely ignoring me after I asked if I could get some help. Then there was an older gentleman who was walking down the hallway to the front who saw me and then quickly bolted into one of their rooms. There was no bell to ring, so I was sitting there looking like a complete idiot for almost 20 minutes. By the way, the store was empty. Doesn't surprise me with the reviews they get. I then go and open the front door (which, again, makes a chime, so they had to have heard me the first time I entered). Opened it a total of two times. Still, no help. Unlike the workers here, I was raised up north where you take care of your customers and don't straight ignore them. That is, after all why your business is still in existence. Because of CUSTOMERS. And if the owner doesn't understand that, I'm willing to run her business and turn it around the right way, which I've done before for many other people. First thing I'd do is get rid of her lazy staff. I'm assuming they get paid to work, not ignore their customers. The only reason this place is probably still open is because they do truck rentals, Fedex, and rent spaces out including a space outside for a food vendor, all of which they get commission for. Their "gift shop" is a joke. So obviously they're in debt and digging themselves in even a bigger hole since they're not even attempting to turn the business around by offering customer service. If this is the way they run a business and feel they can keep doing it, they won't be around much longer. And I'm confident Navarre won't miss it. I've run two businesses and have never ignored a customer. Especially never made them wait 5, 10, or even 15 minutes. And it's obvious that the owner knows about this because she replies to every single complaint on these other bad reviews saying she'll "make it better". Wake up. It ain't getting any better. Apologizing isn't going to make your business prosper. Acting on it will. That's common sense in the business world. And if you can't understand that, you shouldn't be running a business. By the way, this is the first review in my entire life I've written. So the fact that I took the time to do this should tell you how horrendous my experience was. To finish my in-store experience, I was met by "Sharon" who walked past me twice in that 15-plus minute span where I was sitting at the counter. She was rude, cold, didn't ask me how I was doing. All she said was "hi", scanned my package and left me to walk away. And to the "owner" of this establishment, wake up and start running a business. Just because you're the only Fedex location in town doesn't mean you can give crappy customer service. And if your employees don't want to work, send them home. Simple as that. Good prices on packing and shipping, but lack of internal communication led to comedy of errors and two day delay with my package.

How could you rate a business in any other way when the following occurs. I run a legal support business working with attorneys, state and federal agencies as well as other legal support businesses and receive work from all over Florida and across the country. I rented a box from Pak'n'Fax for the purpose of receiving UPS, FEDEX and mail which are all time sensitive and confidential. That box was rented on the understood condition that I would be notified immediately of any and all deliveries. I stopped using them around January when important mail coming from one my client attorneys sat their store for over 4 days before I was called. I was told by the owner (without even checking into it) that my office was called and left a message left, however my office phone rolls over to my cell after 2 rings. I had to check my past cell and land line bills to verify no call had ever been received from them. I'm sorry, I just don't beleive in making up excuses when it's clear where the fault lays. It's unprofessional. You accept responsibility and do what is nessasary to correct the issue not the opposite. Yesterday, 3/20/2014, I received a call from Pak'n'Fax stating that a UPS package had just arrived and was ready to pick up. Turns out my clients even though I notified them of the address change failed to change it. When I got there I was handed 3 (THREE) packages delivery dated 3/20/2014, 3/10/2015 and 2/27/2014...CLOSE TO A MONTH PREVIOUS!. Is there really any excuse for this? To top this off the owner had the gall to ask for box rent again! I had to remind her I stopped using them months ago....and filed all the postal change of address and notifications ...and all for the very same reason of incompetency that had just happened only much worse of a situation this time. I had to immediately get on the phone to my clients and smooth this over plus send a email expressing my apolizes to the owner in Tampa. In my business time is of the essence and all the documents are court related in some way. By the way, I accepted full responsibility to my client for what had happened. It was ultimately my responsibilty when I choose to do business at Pak'n'Fax and it cost me. If your a professional who business relies on the transfer of time sentitive documents I'd think twice before using these guys. read more
