As others have said this is a great shop filled with so many beachy things and staffed with wonderful and helpful employees - we stopped in to grab a souvenir more specifically a refrigerator magnet for our RV just a small memento documenting our trip. with so much inventory it was impossible not to walk the entire store, there were lots of families here who were likely on vacation stocking up on beach wear and and toys for the little ones, but there's plenty of things for mom and dad too. I don't remember seeing more quality items in this type of shop in a long time I guess it's name "department store" really separates it from so many beach stores scattered along the coast. It was a difficult choice but we finally decided on a piece that we both liked. Island Style describes itself as the beaches department store and while it is a pretty nifty advertising slogan, it also is not far from the truth. Island Style offers bodyboards, floats, swim attire oh, you know everything that would benefit a trip to the beach. Navarre Beach, as the name implies, survives due to its tourism because of the beach oh, so Island time is definitely a bonus to the community. The staff are friendly and the prices are actually pretty reasonable. Whether you need something or just want to look around, perhaps pick up a souvenir or two for the family and friends at home, this is a good place to visit. So we were on the hunt for some souvenirs during our stay at Navarre Beach and came up on this little store. They have a decent sized parking lot that they share with a couple other businesses. The store is huge and they have pretty much anything you'd ever hope to want. Shirts, sweatshirts of every shape size and color, bathing suits, shoes and sandals, home decor, beach and pool toys and of course the usual shot glasses, magnets and other inexpensive souvenirs items. We found a couple shirts along with our usual magnets and shot glasses and browsed the rest but didn't last long because it was difficult to navigate between the racks and shelves with my daughters wheelchair. Check out was a breeze and we were on our way. If you're looking for souvenirs I'd definitely give this place a shot! If you can't find something here you probably won't find it anywhere else either. read more

Pleasantly surprised when my family and I walked into the store after eating at the Cactus Flower Cafe which is in the same plaza. The store was clean and organized. Great selection of beachwear galore, from hats, swimsuits, shirts, dresses, etc. They also have a great variety of jewelry. This is a great place to get souvenirs too. Favorite store for beach clothing and accessories. You may pay more for some items that at ur basic Alvins or whatever, but you will pay much less then ur standard salt life stuff also. Worth the drive and Navarre is also a break from the Destin craziness. read more

This was a great gift shop! It had so much selection. We were looking for some shirts we could buy as a reminder of our trip there to Navarre Beach. We went to the gift shop right down the road from us (the boardwalk shop), but the guy there was watching TV and did not acknowledge us or offer any contact at all. The prices were not good either, so we left. We went to Island Style and it is a nice shop with a nice setup. The man who checked us out at the register was friendly and talkative. What a great local owned business. This place does it right. Ignore any reports from angry people who can't read return policies or just are ignorant in general. This store has been around for a while and does business right. If you have an issue with something, they will do what's right. Nice store- they carry Life Is Good, which is a big plus in my book. The staff was courteous and I was greeted not too long after walking in. My bad experience started at checkout. Please note, the staff wasn't rude- they did what they thought was best, and I do see their point. The problem started when I checked in on Yelp and opened a coupon for 50% off of one regularly priced item. I opened the Yelp deal and had 3 or so hours to complete the purchase. I did not read the fine print- my mistake- the coupon expired 3/31/13. My take on it was that the deal activated- it should be honored. I would have purchased about $60 more of merchandise, but I asked them not to ring it up. I'm disappointed,and I won't be back. It's a shame- it's a great store and I wanted to purchase more items. read more

Absolutely fell in love with this store. My family and I vacationed on Navarre Beach, and had been looking for souvenir shirts and etc to bring home for family. I talked with the staff a few minutes while I was waiting on my wife to try on swimwear. They were friendly, courteous and seemed proud of their store. I purchased a $40 swim shirt from your store yesterday. I wore it on the beach for about an hour, it was getting late so I went home. When i went to put the shirt back on today I noticed the material had stretched in a few spots very weird. My wife went in your store today to try and swap it out for a new one. The manager that was their said he has sold hundreds of those shirts and had never seen that happen before. If you have seen that never happen before after selling hundreds of those shirts, then that should tell you right there that particular shirt has some sort of defect. My wife asked if we could just swap it out and the manager said no. He was not going to take a dirty shirt back, and that if I only wore it for an hour, it must of been a rough hour???? What kind of business doesn't honor their products, and your telling me that their is a defect in it, he had never seen it before and had sold hundreds of them. I just bought the shirt yesterday, had the receipt to prove it, not like I wore the shirt for a week and tore it up. There is obviously something wrong with the shirt.
