I have shipped hundreds of packages from hundreds of UPS locations across the country. Of all those packages, all have arrived intact and unmolested, except two. BOTH times I had the contents of my package stolen, I shipped from this location, and BOTH times my package was processed by that smug little prick, Brad. The box arrived as scheduled, but some of the valuable contents had been removed. DO NOT ship from this location. Brad cannot be trusted. read more

I didn't like my past experiences here so I was hesitant when I had a last minute Saturday print need. I took a chance and Kathy was excellent. Turns out she is the owner and had a manager "Brad" whom caused all the complaints. My visit this time was fantastic. Kathy explained that Brad no longer works there and she was very helpful and friendly. She printed off my flyers and took the time to make sure they looked correct on the page before printing them all. She did all this right before closing time! I noticed they fingerprint for clearances now and Kathy is a notary! I will definitely be back! Thanks again! read more

I work for a nation-wide financial firm & sometimes our clients don't have a fax machine so they need us to fax confidential, sensitive documents to their local UPS store so they can pick them up for a service fee. I called several times during normal business hours and kept getting an answering machine. I finally got through and asked for their fax #, to which the man said "why do you need that?" and "I need to know what you're faxing". I said it was for a mutual client and gave him her name. He then demanded to know my name and what I was sending. He was so unbelievably rude I asked who I was speaking with. At first he wouldn't tell me. I asked again and asked to speak with his supervisor. He said his name was Brad and he was the Manager/Owner. I then told him "No thank you I've changed my mind and I'll take my business elsewhere" and hung up. HE THEN PROCEEDED TO CALL ME BACK ON MY PHONE to argue with me some more and ask more questions about my company and who I was!!! UNBELIEVABLE! Is this how you treat all your customers? I've never in my life had such rude, nasty, and unspeakable customer service. 1st of all, I was going to give you my business but you're so rude that now I am not. 2nd of all, you have no right to call me and harass me when I have chosen not to be a customer of yours and who I am is none of your business! 3rd of all, the phone call was recorded as is all of my phone calls (just in case this guy is completely off his rocker). I called the location down the street at 1152 Mae Street in Hummelstown and spoke with Linda. She was super helpful right away no problem and said she'd be waiting for my client to show up. If I could give Brad 0 stars I would. If not for the UPS name behind him I'd imagine he'd be out of business in no time considering the way he treats potential customers. read more

My husband came in on a Saturday morning (10/6) to print off a few copies for a speech. An older gentlemen (Brad) with long grey hair greeted him quite crabby. When he was finished printing the total was $2. My husband didn't have cash and pulled out his debit card. The grey haired man preceded to swear at him and get extremely angry over this saying it would cost more I'm fees than it was worth. My husband apologized and told this gentleman he could just give it to him then since it was literally 2 pieces of paper. The man then yelled "sure I will do that and then I'm going to call the police on you!!!" My husband and his friend were speechless at this mans attitude and quickly finished the payment and left as they guy was swearing at them the entire time. If I could give zero stars I would. What a terrible representation for the UPS store in general. We will be calling UPS directly to make a formal complaint as well. read more

I took an important letter to this location. I mailed this Priority Mail letter on Saturday 1/07/12 that was GUARANTEED delivery for Wednesday 1/11/12; but tracking showed that it didn't enter the system until Tuesday 1/10/12, and not DELIVERED until 1/13/12. I paid $9.92; and was no better off than if I would have mailed it regular snail mail! It took 5 business days!!! read more

Not good customer service. The person at the register was short with his words. He answered my questions with a 1 word answer. when I said thank you and walked away there was no you're welcome. will say that the females who answered the phone was very kind and had great information. I don't know if it was the fact that he wasn't making money off of me. I was returning something that had a free label. I will try this facility again. better luck next time. read more

The end of March we took a package, which contained a photograph, to the UPS store in Palmyra to be shipped. The photo arrived at its destination damaged and unusable. We followed all of their procedures to file a claim but they denied the claim. First they tried to say the person who received the package damaged it, then they said we didn't package it correctly. In the past we have sent and received photographs packaged in the same manner with no problem. When the package was shipped we told them what was in the package, the package was marked, "Do not Bend", and packages are insured up to $100. After the package was damaged the employee kept saying that they are not UPS they are UPS Store as if that made everything OK. Supposedly the denial was appealed and denied a second time. UPS knew nothing of an appeal. We took a replacement photo which was packaged the same way to the US Post Office. Upon our inquiry they said they saw nothing wrong with the packaging. It was insured it for $200, the recipient had to sign for it and for less money then UPS it arrived safely! In my last telephone conversation with the manager of this UPS Store he hung up on me. Be careful, you are probably not being insured for what you think you are being insured when you ship through a UPS Store. read more

I stopped in this UPS location to ship out mom's Christmas gift but was not greeted with any Christmas spirit, that's for sure. I was "greeted" by a smart-ass little troll who was obviously angry at the world and decided to take it out on me. He boxed my presents as roughly and bitchily as he possibly could being sure to squish the bows in a box that was twice the size it needed to be, then told me my package, (which weighed less than a pound and a half) that it would cost me $30 for packaging and shipping! Because I was running short on time and had no boxes on hand at home, I decided to let him go ahead and ship them. After reading a previous review about things missing in boxes shipped form this locatoin, I will be sure to make sure everything arrives intact - and if not I will be paying this annoying person a visit. I wish I would've gotten a name, but I have a feeling it was the same "Brad" that was spoke of in other reviews. read more
