Was here during the holidays, had no access to a laptop/computer since we were on the road. We had called up UPS for assistance for a Notary and they directed us to AAA. Thank goodness to the Yelp Community and sharing information about Mail Dock. We were running out of options of where to go as well as with limited office hours during the holidays. We called up Mail Dock for assistance. They had a Notary on staff, access to a computer and helped us through the whole process and made copies for us. Since we were on the road and not familiar with the area it took us a while to get here. More like the next day. They were great after we made numerous phone call regarding their hours, and their available services. Talk about exceptional customer service from point of contact via the phone to physically meeting them at this store. They showed me how to use their computer. Got item Notarized and copies too. Wow!!! No wonder this is a local favorite. So many of the neighborhood residents and local businesses come here too. Quick prompt service and everyone knows everybody. Just love this place. I have been buying and selling Stereo equipment for years. I won 3 stereos yesterday on an Auction. Cassette Player, Sony Amp, and an Oscilloscope. I would say in total they may weigh 65 Lbs They are putting all 3 Items in one box. They sent me an Invoice for $234.00 to ship these. This is without a doubt the worst shipping price I have ever seen before. I have shipped Stereos weighing 60+ pounds. Not one of them was even close to what they have charged me. Whatever you do, do NOT trust these unethical people with your fragile items. I've shipped items from two separate auction companies who use this place & BOTH orders arrived broken due to poor packing. The first item was reimbursed because it was inexpensive however, the second order of ceramic angels cost me $288.00 to ship and because 3-4 random items included in the lot were not broken, they refused to reimburse me for my investment. I spent over $300 on items + shipping & they offered me $50 as a courtesy so I'm negative $250+ dollars & have about $10 worth of random items to sell. I wish I could give 0 stars because these people are the devil . Karma comes full circle & as a business owner myself I am absolutely disgusted because I would never treat a customer this way if their order was shattered due to my own incompetence with packing. Please see the surviving items vs the items with actual value that I would obviously need to be able to sell in my shop to recoup the insane shipping cost. Your location MAILDOCK BUSINESS CENTER 1594 Cumberland St, Lebanon, I paid this company $400.00 to ship 30+ porcelain birds that I purchased through an auction house across the country. They have NO idea how to pack fragile items. I was told in my quote that my order would be shipped in 4 boxes. Instead it arrived in 2 small 10 inch tall boxes that were packed inside much larger boxes. Each box had about 18 birds in it and they had very little bubble wrap around the birds and nothing in between the birds or on the bottom or sides of the box. There were packing peanuts inside the bigger box but nothing in the much smaller box. Some of the birds had so little bubble wrap that they were poking through the single layer of bubble. The porcelain birds are over 30 years old and Of course several broke and now I have spent months trying to get my money back which should not be a problem because they were insured. I returned the birds that were broken to the mail dock and because all of the broken pieces were not included Jennifer refuses to proceed with an insurance claim or refund the birds. Initially she tried to talk me out of filing the insurance claim by claiming that they were unlikely to pay. We moved across the country and stored all of our household items while we look for a new home and I am now having to stop looking for a home and go the 8 hours to Lebanon, PA and file a small claims action in the local Magisterial District court. Jennifer the employee who gave me the quote doesn't care about the service she provides which is evident by her work and response. I spent over a thousand dollars on these birds with the shipping and it is really sad that this company feels it is ok to do business like this. Please view the photos below. The manager literally took my package from me while I was waiting in line and threw it like a frisby into a bin when it was a 1,000 dollar cell phone at the time. Luckily I had best packaging I could put together. I yelled at him and said "Don't throw my package!! It was expensive." he "said what? Bought items from local Auction house, if using this location expect to pay DOUBLE the actual cost

Auction house I won a few items from sent them to this place to have them shipped, I did not have a choice in the matter. I received a invoice from them a few days later and thought this had to be a mistake, the price was astronomical for what they were shipping. If I was across the globe I could understand but being in the state right next door was crazy, I called and questioned them about the price and they kept saying with insurance the price was correct, they were pushing that insurance word so I asked how much was insurance, figuring it had to be a lot since they kept bringing it up.......$5.00 was the insurance. What??? I asked only $5.00? They then said it weighed 20lbs. Now with them shipping it USPS I know they have boxes that will go up to 70lbs. Not sure why they thought 20lbs was a valid point. But if you have any choice I would look into other shipping options, you will find the same service with cheaper rates. I didn't have a choice, if I did I would definitely not have chosen this high priced shipping place. read more
