DO NOT GET A PMB HERE! Let me start by saying the women who work here are incredible and I love coming in and they are friendly and always grab any larger packages for me before I even have to ask, The man here is rude, and attempted to keep my packages that were delivered to my PMB, said he didn't know who's box they belonged to even though my packages said my box number on the shipping label. A woman who works here tried pointing out my packages behind the counter and he tried saying they weren't mine. Which they were and thankful to her otherwise I probably wouldn't have gotten my packages back. I would willingly show my ID if he asked which he didn't but they know me here and I come weekly so they've never asked. He pretended my name wasn't on them at first when I told him my name, he handed them over eventually but demanded I come back in later with multiple forms of ID with my home address on them or would not give me my packages from now on. We've had the box for years so not sure the sudden problem. He super creeped me out with wanting my personal address with providing no reason since they don't forward anything there and the bill isn't sent there either and there's no way I wanted to give him my address after that. So I am from out of town and Googled a UPS store because in San Diego we have great service. Not here. There was a gentleman sitting on a chair I thought he was a customer I continued to walk to the counter. There was a woman cashier. I knew the Stamps were going up on July 12th so I wanted to stock up. I asked if they had postcard stamps she then questioned the gentleman in the chair (maybe his day off) he said no. She then said we have regular stamps I asked if they had flowers she said no but then again asked the gentleman sitting there in the chair. Reluctantly I bought the regular flag stamps. As I paid, employee #287444, I had made the comment about stamps going up, she had no idea and was very rude about responding, as she said I don't know. Understandably it is a UPS store but something like that should have been told to employees. Time to pay it was $19.00 $.90 a stamp. Where at the post office it is dace value of $.78, until July 12th will be $.82. Ups offers the convenience but I would just go to the post office so much cheaper (just a few cents but does add up) and they are much nicer. read more

I went into this store to mail small package to Oregon. I was quoted the following: 1 day = $151.00 3-day = $77.00 5-day = $41.00. I told them the fees seems extremely high then drove to another store in Newbury Park CA. Their fees for the same package to the exact same location were: 1 day = 31.00 3-day = 12.10 5-day = 7.00 What a rip off UPS Gonzales / Oxnard was attempting. I tried to get some documents printed here since they offer online printing according to https://store0885.upsstoreprintshop.com and they are the closest place to me offering online printing. I've known this location has poor service but I figured whatever, it's just printinga few docs, simple, you can't mess that up right? I was wrong. I came in, waited forever while the lady at the counter took her sweet time and very clearly made the customer ahead of me feel dumb. Then I told her I was there to pick up my documents that were due to be printed by now according to the receipt I was emailed. She tried to pull the same thing on me and make me feel dumb. I showed her my online receipt for the service that shows very clearly that i ordered prints at this store, number 0885, at this address, and I had the order number available to check there system. Well this store definitely does not know how to work their POS system or update their info. Instead of trying to use the order number and get something done, the girl behind the counter just says "sorry that sent to our old email, I can't print that". So you're telling me I paid for your service, now I'm here standing in front of you with all the info, and you can't figure it out? You changed your email and never updated it online, you know the place where people would look for your email? You never setup email forwarding from the old email to the new one? I recently drove to this location to return items purchased through tik tok shop. The instructions were no box needed to return items and they would pack and ship it for me. I live pretty far from here and most ups stores. So imagine my annoyance when the clerk said it needed to be boxed. I told her it says right here in the instructions. She said no that's wrong and you need to box it. I had 3 items to return. She said the code you have isn't for that. I went to another usp store down the way and they took it. I had a package re-directed here for pick up. The shipping email clearly states .." If you are picking up the package and not the addressee, you will also be required to provide the tracking number." I sent a family member with the tracking number and he was turned away for no reason at all. I called to speak to someone who immediately became aggressive and spoke over me about why their store has adapted its own specific policies because they "didn't feel comfortable" releasing my package. I came in here to do my live scan for my sales license and the manager here completely gave me the wrong ATI number and now im having such a hard time fixing it with the DMV because of this managers mistake. When I called he wouldn't take my call, he pretty much told his employee to tell me its my own problem he can't do anything about it. Not an apology or anything, I understand people make mistakes but I clearly told him how important these numbers were and he didn't pay attention to what he was doing in the end. Use this location frequently & am always very happy, but today the service was so exceptional, I'm compelled to write a review. Arrived w 2 boxes, one easy for me to manage, the other not so much. Also, was having trouble with labels. They figured out the label issues and managed the difficult package with a dolly and teamwork. I stop by to drop off a package that was already labeled was literally just a drop off. I was told didn't you see the sign on the door? We are close for lunch. I placed the package on the counter and was told oh OK just the attitude is what bothered me. if your closed for lunch great then lock the door. I have been going to the Doris UPS store for about 4 years. I usually go about four times a week and have mailed hundreds of packages from there. Yesterday I went there and there was a young male outside the front door smoking weed it stunk so bad. To my surprise he went inside and went directly behind the counter.I couldn't believe he worked there.The store is tiny and stunk like weed, all the customers instantly smelled it. When my son brought the package to the desk it was already labeled and had security stickers on it also had fragial stickers.They then asked him what was in the box and he refused to tell them.So the pot head kid began shaking the box.I have never been asked what is in a box ever at any UPS or Fedex location. The box contained a very expensive computer. I felt the place was very shady.And extreamly unprofessional. This store has the WORST customer service! Save yourself the aggravation and go somewhere else. The girl who works the cash register must be related to the owner because he seems OK with her extremely poor attitude. Every single time I have been there to drop off packages she has been rude. Today was the last straw when she left the store, and locked the door to run an errand during business hours. I had hauled a heavy package and had to leave and return later. The worse customer service by the owner. I usually visit this store when I need to return something to Amazon. The email from amazon literally said not to repack the item to take it to UPS as is, so that is what I did. The owner scoffs at me and says he "can't take it like that, it needs to have a box". I tried to explain to him that the email said not to, and that I didn't have the box anymore. He proceeds to yell at me, "I don't care what the email says, everyone tells me the same thing." Literally thows a tantrum takes the item and then asks his employee to finish helping me. He was so annoyed with me and very aggressive, like seriously? I'm just trying to return the item and I'm following directions, why am I being yelled at for following directions? His attitude was disgusting. I should mention that I've had the biggest headache for the last two days and this interaction did not help. I feel kinda sad for him to be in such a mood every time I see him.
