Since I started to use the UPS location on a more regular basis, I had no idea how knoowledgeable, service oriented and kind these people are. They ggo above and beyond to help their customers; I happen to be one they have explained things to me so patientlly, sent out my USPS stuff when I was at UPS, gone into my phone to find a return I want to make but still don't understand the QR code thing, etc....... I really don't see any reason to use another UPS store or service because the people here have saved me on many occasions. Thanks to the staff at UPS North Oaks, MN. In addition, I don't think there is a service they haven't got. I went in last week with a FAX and the number on the other end was consistently busy and they kept trying to get it through until they closed, tried mulltiple times the next morning until we gave up on that particular number and I called the gov't agency and got a different number. Had a return of something I purchased and was required to go here. It was easy. Showed the clerk the email and she scanned it. Had to reopen the package, which I wish I knew ahead, but she needed to scan the items. They will wrap it back up and ship it back. Pretty easy read more

The owner is insufferable. If he was on fire he would tell you everything's fine. I wish I could understand people with this personality type but being around them is impossible. Also- SCAM ALERT! He told me I can't ship on my customer's account because "a couple years ago someone gave a fake account number." Bullsh1t, because you told me the SAME THING five years ago. When he blocks you from using your customers UPS account, it compels you to pay cash at the store rate. Kevin also recently helped me locate a lost receipt which wasn't an easy task, but he handled it within the hour that I requested his help. I took a package in that is postage paid by the supplier with specific instructions to download the shipping label and have the UPS print it......surprise $2.50 to print a sheet if paper. The loud mouth owner manager pipes up your not paying rent......other off key comments from the owner / manager and paid the $2.50.....just an excessive charge for something that should be included on a standard postage paid return. Not safe during COVID, staff refuses to wear masks. Otherwise, typical UPS store, moderately helpful staff, expensive supplies and services, but if you have to mail a package and don't want to drive to Roseville or Blaine what are you going to do. Funny how physicians, nurses and countless people in the world can be understood, but not the UPS store. Just be an informed consumer. Update: I appreciate that your medical condition may compromise mask use. However, there were multiple people working, none with masks. There are multiple ways to protect yourself and others (none occlusive face shields etc) and the person who assisted me scoffed at my concern and said to just stay home if sick. You're an essential business, so protecting yourselves and your customers is not new. Talk about going above and beyond in customer service! With the pandemic wreaking havoc on people's holiday travel plans this has only added to the usual mad rush at the post offices and UPS centers. Postal shipping is up like 70% this year but when you walk into the UPS store in North Oaks it is still just Robin and Kevin busting their butts to get everything shipped and out for the holidays. No extra help but somehow these two shipping elves seem to make it happen every year. I know for a fact that these two amazing people are working crazy hours to get it all done for us customers. True story: I have been having Robin print my family calendars for over 10 years. I came in this last week with my family calendar to be printed and shipped (27 copies)! It was going to take a few days to get done and Robin talked about the need to get them in the mail sooner rather than later due to all the extra mail this year. With everything going on at that store and how busy they have been Robin stayed until 2:30 in the morning one night to ensure that I would have my calendars for Christmas and mailing ( they close at 6 pm). That is going all out and I hope others see how dedicated these two workers are to making sure WE all have a stress free time with our shipping and printing needs. There is a reason I still go back there for my UPS and printing needs even though I moved 25 miles away. Robin and Kevin ROCK! As for the negative reviews about service and not wearing masks, never seen either of these behaviors in that place and I have been there multiple times during the pandemic. The guy who runs this store is the rudest person I have ever had the displeasure to interact with, and I've interacted with him on at least 5 different occasions. Last week I had to ship a whitetail deer shoulder mount from Andy's Antler Co. to a customer in Arizona. The box was too big for the US Postal Service to handle, so I had to find an alternative shipping service. I decided to go to The UPS Store 2111 in North Oaks, as I have purchased custom boxes from them a few times before. Upon weighing and dimensioning the package, the shipping charge came to over $350. This was completely unacceptable to me. The owner of the store then asked me what I had in the box and the approximate dimensions of the item. After a little quick brainstorming, and calculating on his part, we came to a solution: I would buy a smaller and more form-fitting box from him, which would significantly reduce the cost of shipping. The owner himself took the time and repacked the mount for me in the smaller box, which reduced the shipping charge to less than half, including the purchased box. It arrived to the customer in Arizona safely and quickly with no issues whatsoever. This is one of the best customer service experiences I've ever had. I would totally recommend the services and support of this establishment to anyone looking to ship larger or awkward-sized items. read more

They understood my urgency and immediately went into speed mode to help me get in and out in a hurry, with quality copies. Returned an Amazon purchase at this store. I showed them the label on my phone and the staff asked me to email it to him. i did and he charged me 2.45 at the end. I asked whats the cost for and he said, 2 dollars for scanning your email for virus and 0.45 for printing the label for return. What a scam. i have never had to paid to return an Amazon product. I could have gone home and print the label for him if he had told me it will cost me money to email the label to him. read more

I had only used this UPS store a handful of times, but I have always appreciated their positive, friendly environment. Little did I know that this type of service would be tested to its fullest with a Christmastime shipment that appeared to have been stolen from my nephew's front step. Tragically, it included photographs from his childhood and sentimental items that my mother wanted sent to him upon her passing, items that were obviously irreplaceable. My nephew attempted to assist from his end and stated that the UPS office responsible for its delivery was, unfortunately, not very interested in helping him locate the missing package. At this point, I went back to the originating store, this one, and received professional and caring follow through. Even though the package never turned up, I was grateful for their very responsive communication, the timely processing of the insurance check and for their genuine concern through it all.
