It's another year under the new (mid-2023 ownership) and the store only seems to get better. Very friendly, efficient and a pleasure to work with! I definitely recommend them for your shipping needs. read more

Since I started to use the UPS location on a more regular basis, I had no idea how knoowledgeable, service oriented and kind these people are. They ggo above and beyond to help their customers; I happen to be one they have explained things to me so patientlly, sent out my USPS stuff when I was at UPS, gone into my phone to find a return I want to make but still don't understand the QR code thing, etc....... I really don't see any reason to use another UPS store or service because the people here have saved me on many occasions. Thanks to the staff at UPS North Oaks, MN. In addition, I don't think there is a service they haven't got. I went in last week with a FAX and the number on the other end was consistently busy and they kept trying to get it through until they closed, tried mulltiple times the next morning until we gave up on that particular number and I called the gov't agency and got a different number. They were very patient with me and followed through above and beyond. I felt like they were on my team. Their prices are very fair, they provide exceptional service and at a great price. read more

My wife had a package to return and we had to take it here. It was a quick and easy way to return. We were in and out in no time flat. It was part of the Easy Returns process. Worked out good. read more

Had a return of something I purchased and was required to go here. It was easy. Showed the clerk the email and she scanned it. Had to reopen the package, which I wish I knew ahead, but she needed to scan the items. They will wrap it back up and ship it back. Pretty easy read more

The younger female that works here isn't very friendly or willing to help. However, the rest of the workers I have interacted with here have been really great. read more

Anytime I come in here, they are always so friendly and efficient, always greeting people and there never seems to be a long line.

I am thankful for the helpful and friendly community support. Sharan was very kind. Appreciate this about a neighborhood business.

The owner is insufferable. If he was on fire he would tell you everything's fine. I wish I could understand people with this personality type but being around them is impossible. Also- SCAM ALERT! He told me I can't ship on my customer's account because "a couple years ago someone gave a fake account number." Bullsh1t, because you told me the SAME THING five years ago. When he blocks you from using your customers UPS account, it compels you to pay cash at the store rate. This price is super expensive and is how he affords his supercharged mustang cobra that he hides behind the store. Seriously f*ck this guy. read more

Still thinking about how bad this experience was years later. Hopefully this review spared some of you the trouble!

Under new ownership and customer service is way better! I noticed this and asked the worker and he confirmed it. The previous owner and workers were not always friendly. They seem to hate Amazon returns. A simple smile and friendliness goes a long way! I was reluctant to visit this UPS but will do more so under the new management. read more

My wife and I use the North Oaks location frequently and the customer service and efficiency of the store get an easy 5 stars. Kevin also recently helped me locate a lost receipt which wasn't an easy task, but he handled it within the hour that I requested his help. I will now go out of my way to make sure this location is my exclusive choice for shipping needs. Keep up the good work everyone! John W. read more

I took a package in that is postage paid by the supplier with specific instructions to download the shipping label and have the UPS print it......surprise $2.50 to print a sheet if paper. The loud mouth owner manager pipes up your not paying rent......other off key comments from the owner / manager and paid the $2.50.....just an excessive charge for something that should be included on a standard postage paid return. Crabby ass owner / manger with no customer service skills at all!!!!!! read more

Not safe during COVID, staff refuses to wear masks. Otherwise, typical UPS store, moderately helpful staff, expensive supplies and services, but if you have to mail a package and don't want to drive to Roseville or Blaine what are you going to do. Edit in response: Your health and my health are equally important. If you are not going to wear a mask that is fine, I'm just letting others know the situation before they walk in so they can make their own decision as to if they are going to risk it. read more

No masks. No attempt to socially distance or be respectful of their clientele. Excuse was no one could understand them. Funny how physicians, nurses and countless people in the world can be understood, but not the UPS store. Just be an informed consumer. Update: I appreciate that your medical condition may compromise mask use. However, there were multiple people working, none with masks. There are multiple ways to protect yourself and others (none occlusive face shields etc) and the person who assisted me scoffed at my concern and said to just stay home if sick. You're an essential business, so protecting yourselves and your customers is not new. It is reasonable for other patrons who may likewise have underlying medical conditions to know the status of infection control. read more

So glad to see this place in the neighborhood. It comes in handy for some of those Amazon returns. Stopped in the other day to drop off some returns and the gal helping me was pretty friendly. Once they scan it, Amazon issues the refund. They seem to know their regulars pretty well and address them by name which is nice. I didn't know they also sold stamps at this location. It's close, clean, friendly and efficient. Glad it's so close by. . read more

Talk about going above and beyond in customer service! With the pandemic wreaking havoc on people's holiday travel plans this has only added to the usual mad rush at the post offices and UPS centers. Postal shipping is up like 70% this year but when you walk into the UPS store in North Oaks it is still just Robin and Kevin busting their butts to get everything shipped and out for the holidays. No extra help but somehow these two shipping elves seem to make it happen every year. I know for a fact that these two amazing people are working crazy hours to get it all done for us customers. True story: I have been having Robin print my family calendars for over 10 years. I came in this last week with my family calendar to be printed and shipped (27 copies)! It was going to take a few days to get done and Robin talked about the need to get them in the mail sooner rather than later due to all the extra mail this year. With everything going on at that store and how busy they have been Robin stayed until 2:30 in the morning one night to ensure that I would have my calendars for Christmas and mailing ( they close at 6 pm). That is going all out and I hope others see how dedicated these two workers are to making sure WE all have a stress free time with our shipping and printing needs. There is a reason I still go back there for my UPS and printing needs even though I moved 25 miles away. Robin and Kevin ROCK! As for the negative reviews about service and not wearing masks, never seen either of these behaviors in that place and I have been there multiple times during the pandemic. They are so calm and helpful. I think these two people are absolutely amazing and super professional. read more

1 star because it's the lowest score I can give this store. The guy who runs this store is the rudest person I have ever had the displeasure to interact with, and I've interacted with him on at least 5 different occasions. I'm now happily driving the extra 3 miles to the next closest UPS store where the service is great. read more

Last week I had to ship a whitetail deer shoulder mount from Andy's Antler Co. to a customer in Arizona. The box was too big for the US Postal Service to handle, so I had to find an alternative shipping service. I decided to go to The UPS Store 2111 in North Oaks, as I have purchased custom boxes from them a few times before. Upon weighing and dimensioning the package, the shipping charge came to over $350. This was completely unacceptable to me. The owner of the store then asked me what I had in the box and the approximate dimensions of the item. After a little quick brainstorming, and calculating on his part, we came to a solution: I would buy a smaller and more form-fitting box from him, which would significantly reduce the cost of shipping. The owner himself took the time and repacked the mount for me in the smaller box, which reduced the shipping charge to less than half, including the purchased box. It arrived to the customer in Arizona safely and quickly with no issues whatsoever. This is one of the best customer service experiences I've ever had. I would totally recommend the services and support of this establishment to anyone looking to ship larger or awkward-sized items. read more

What an incredible act of going above and beyond. Our family was moving to Japan and our dog, Lobster, was moving to London to be with my sister. We sent our dog's things to her but they got sent back. As you can see from the note, they sent the package to him again at their own cost and my sister sent me this picture. Thank you UPS! read more

The UPS Store - Shipping Centers Near Me - North Oaks, Minnesota

The folks that run this UPS store are as nice and efficient as can be. Have been a happy customer for many years, look forward to many more! 5 out of 5! Only criticisms here are from the virtue signalling mask nazis... Hope you kids never face a real crisis... read more

The services are great but the man that works there is abrasive, bordering on rude every single time. I have used this store at least ten times, today I decided I won't be returning. read more

I went there to return a Amazon product so I didn't have the box and the owner would not take it. Reason was because it would not fit in the box. Again it was a Amazon return. Poor service. He charges for everything. Even to drop of a prepaid package. read more

I needed to quickly make copies of a document I had received early that morning to be used for an appointment. I arrived right when the UPS store opened. I highly recommend this store. Robin and Kevin have always been very attentive and responsive. I have been using their services for over a year. They are able to pick up items locally for my business, pack, and ship them across the country to me. read more

Always friendly staff. Very helpful. The bad reviews are not warranted from my experience especially the ones regarding wearing masks. Stay at home if you need to wear a mask all the time or think everyone else needs to. read more

The owners of this place are super rude. I was sending computers to my work and I asked if he would pack them so I could see how they were planning and he got really huffy with me. I was spending $50 on 2 boxes no shipping, the last he could do was be nice! Everytime I have been here they are rude! I will go out of my way to ship in the future and will not go back again! read more

I was a long time business customer. Kevin, the owner, and Robin really lacks customer service skills. I've never seen him go out of his way to assist beyond the minimum required and on a few occasions well below the minimum. I've taken my business to the Arden Hills location even though it's 4 miles out of my way. They are far better with customer service. read more

I have known and done business with the ownership of the UPS Store in North Oaks Minnesota for close to 20 years. Our experience with Robin and Kevin has been remarkable. Not only is the store organized and efficient but their customer service is without reproach. Our packages get where they are going timely and in excellent condition. The other store offerings are always up-to-date and available. We can't speak more highly of the service they offer read more

I am at a UPS store almost on a daily basis. This is by far my favorite one! The owners are always there and the service is friendly, quick, and easy--no long lines. The store is clean and organized and most of the time I simply drop and go as they will take care of everything for me. This is especially appreciated during these times of COVID-19. Even if I have to go out of my way a little bit, I prefer this store! read more

This store is by far the best UPS store! It is very clean and organized. The staff are very knowledgeable about my concerns and needs. Some say the service there is expensive, though it it is worth every penny spent to have my product shipped through and right. As everything's shipped promptly and efficient. Went to the UPS store in Canyon Crest Town Center in Riverside, Ca this morning. I'm a long time customer but will never go back. Staff and customers were not wearing masks in this tiny space. No social distancing. Callous attitude by staff. I told the clerk I wouldn't come back because store is unsafe. Her reply? "Next". read more

Many thanks to the Vadnais Heights UPS Store and specifically to Kevin who went to great lengths to reconnect me with my work laptop. Kevin thoroughly packed and protected the laptop and clearly communicated by phone and email with me regarding location and delivery to where I was in NY. Since it was Christmas, I am sure this store was dealing with a very large number of customers and urgent shipments. Despite how busy they were, Kevin definitely made me feel like I was his most important customer and that he was committed to helping me. Thank you! read more

Returned an Amazon purchase at this store. I showed them the label on my phone and the staff asked me to email it to him. i did and he charged me 2.45 at the end.
