This store never gets better. They refused to accept a package claiming a symbol on the box was "hazardous". It was a reused soda stream box which never had cartridges shipped in it and was previously transported by ups. The box was being reused to ship Ziply equipment. I asked if I could just cover the symbol with a label since it's not hazardous. They refused and of course they wanted to sell me a new box. Which is the exact grift they did on my last visit here when trying to return items to Amazon. Paid $36 for two boxes! For this item, I went down the road to Staples and they accepted it with no issues and were super friendly. This UPS store GRIFTS- no other store like this one in the NW since they like to claim all UPS stores operate like this. It's only them. read more

Wanted 1 page printed from a usb stick. Costs 27 cents. I wanted to use my debit card. $1 fee for debit card, and minimum $1 purchase to be able to pay using debit card.... I was fine with that. I needed to ship a small box. I asked for a small 6-inch piece of tape to close my box. They had to charge me a dollar. I had no cash, but they would be willing to put a dollar on my card. I can confirm the tape fee thing. I know the locations are franchised, so understand that they may shell out some for tape (and maybe more than most being so close to a University)... but it's still a jarring fee for tape. I suppose it's to get you to use your own, but it's almost like it should just be what it actually costs. I actually just wanted to add my two cents that I loathe going into this store because it always makes me feel like I've done something wrong. I don't feel this way at FedEx or USPS and attribute it to the owners. They seem overly cheerful at first, but then always seem to have a comment about how I should have done something different. And if you make any remark back to them (oh, sorry, I didn't have a sharpie handy to totally cross that out), they are a bit argumentative about it. Maybe I should make sure to completely 100% block out everything. But most recently I brought in an Amazon return - one of the new ones with a QR scan code and instructions on what I needed to do to drop it off. Amazon told me to just bring my return to UPS and that UPS would take care of packaging it up. I had already stuck my item back in the shipping envelope so it was actually packaged when I brought it back. When I got there and they scanned the code, the owner started telling me it was the wrong kind of code and it wasn't one of their bulk returns. I have no clue what he's talking about - I'm just the customer. He repeats himself a few times, adding that they've had this problem a few times today and people need to be contacting amazon. I'm still rather confused - I have no idea what is going on as I've followed my instructions, but I think it's that the return needed to be packaged by me (not that UPS would package it). So I look down at my packaged item and then look at him. He does the same and then says, well, I'll ship it this time because it's packaged but if it wasn't I would have to make you pay to package it or bring it back. Um. Ok. Then he repeats that I need to call Amazon and tell them that they've "gotten too big too fast"... um. Ok. Right. Amazon has gotten too big too fast... This seems more like a problem between UPS and Amazon, NOT THE CUSTOMER (because you have the shipping info, which Amazon can connect to shipments and figure out what went wrong). So, in the end, the guy did ship my item back; it just took 10 min more than it should have and I, again, felt like I did something wrong. And, when I did call Amazon, they apologized and gave me a credit for the inconvenience. Took 3 minutes. Way better customer service there. I also don't like how the owners treat their employees. They seem to micromanage because they don't trust them, which just makes everything move more slowly. And, actually, when I've been there when an employee was there without the owners, it was a quick and pleasant experience. I wish I'd made note of the time and day so I could go back at that particular time and avoid the owners. Basically, I do everything in my power to avoid this franchise. I use the drop box near Safeway if I can. Or drop it off on campus. But I have no problem at FedEx or USPS or other UPS locations. read more

This particular UPS store takes customer service seriously. They do their best to help you unlike most UPS stores. I walked in the store in the first thing that happened was an employee telling me hello. Next I wanted the mail a package and found that they are very easy to deal with. They are quick and professional. They don't have long lines at this particular facility. Parking is easy to come by outside the store. The selection is a bit small, but the customer service makes up for that. The store is clean, well lit, and organized. The manager at this store cares enough about the customer to make it a pleasurable experience for everyone. read more

We have received our mail at this location for many years! Customer service is always a priority! The store has many services besides sending and receiving mail. Their printing services are excellent and the quality is exceptional - and very affordable. Packaging products are available and they also offer shredding! This UPS Store underwent major renovations and a change of ownership in 2016. Since then, professionalism and customer service have been excellent. The current owners care about their customers and have built a resourceful store with numerous shipping/printing services. I have used this store for many shipments and each time they have been extremely helpful and courteous. I highly recommend this store to anyone in the Moscow/Pullman area. read more

The ladies that were in the store today were neither helpful or knowledgeable about their services. They told me they were unable to send my package and that I must go to the Hub in Pullman. It was closed! So, when I got there I called the 1-800 number only to find out I could have saved a trip and accomplished everything at the store. Also, neither one of them was happy to be there. ONE DOLLAR TAPE FEE! That's right -- seriously, they charged me $1 buck for putting tape on a box before shipping it out. This was a return to Amazon -- I'm a prime member, and so I have free return shipping on things that don't fit me (in this case a pair of shoes). I walked in with my prepaid label, my return merchandise label, my own box, and everything else just like Amazon instructed. The guy says, "From now on, we are charging people $1 dollar who come in without their boxes taped closed." I thought he was joking, so I laughed. Then he got mad: "You don't have to laugh, sir, In case you don't know, all the UPS Stores are doing this now." Well, for his information, I've been to many, MANY UPS stores and returned plenty of packages via prepaid labels, and NEVER ONCE has anybody charged me $1 for half a penny's worth of tape. What's worse, he took it personally. HE ACTUALLY ARGUED with me about whether stores have been charging me a buck for tape in the past (they have not). I found him to be rude, condescending, and generally annoying. Not a nice guy. One dollar "tape fee" my ass. I'll go someplace else next time -- probably FedEx, or maybe even USPS. Or maybe I'll drive to Pullman instead. Anything to avoid dealing with that kind of passive aggressive attitude. That one dollar will cost them quite a bit of my business in the future, I'm sorry to say. read more

The UPS man tried to charge me for packages for which the mailing company had already paid . When I persisted, the UPS man was finally forced to make a call to figure it out (over 15 minutes lost). If that wasn't bad enough, I was only given part of the shipment ( 3 items total). Once again I had to persist that there should be another item. Finally, after denials and another extended and conversation, the 3rd package was found. It took lots of time persistence on my part to pick up 3 packages.
