While this store always seems to be hopping with its customers mailing packages, I use it for my printing needs. From fliers to stapled packets, they've managed to get me out the door fast. The question is never if they can do it, but can I wait a couple minutes. I think they do a great job for several reasons: the staff are smart and service oriented, they are well trained and well managed, and they clearly operate as a team. I went to this UPS Store yesterday, and this is now the second time I've witnessed a manager speaking to employees in a very rude and disrespectful way. Yesterday it was a man, and the first time it was a woman named Lisa (who I believe is the manager). As a paying customer, it's extremely unprofessional and uncomfortable to watch management belittle their staff in front of everyone. Employees deserve respect, and the way they are being spoken to is unacceptable. Management here clearly needs to set a better example. UPS DO BETTER!!! read more

I really gotta ship Besides the super convenient package drop off here, I've used this location for a variety of print jobs for my business. From postcards to flyers to signage they've done great work. It's easy to email them a doc for output and they get it done on time and at a reasonable cost. Staff is super friendly and responsive. I must give this UPS store praise. They were asked to print and bind my life's work for the past ten years. My trilogy, a three-part novel, was more than 1200 pages. It would be a cumbersome project. Their price beat all the printing websites online. The work came out beautifully, and I was not only proud of my accomplishment but I was proud of how my manuscript looked. I had to stop here recently when Amazon was mad at me and wouldn't let me return to my local Kohl's store. While I prefer UPS to FedEx, the former just doesn't have as conveniently located outlets. Yet this location isn't too far off my path home and I had a great experience here: Parking is plentiful on both the street and the parking lot, the store was clean and well-organized, there was no wait to receive service, and the service I received with friendly and efficient. I try not to use Amazon too much, but if I do in the future and have a return, I would not hesitate to hit up this location again on my way home some day. I have a favorite post office and I have a favorite UPS store. This is my favorite UPS store. I mainly go here to send make online returns. Typically here on a Saturday at various times and there never seems to be a much of a line. The staff is efficient and friendly which meets my needs for returns. I appreciate this UPS store's location in proximity to downtown MKE as it has earlier & longer hours then the Ogden Ave location. They will process Amazon returns and help with printing & shipping needs. Note: I attempted to upload and print pick up via the web to their location, but it said "needs quote", whereas the Ogden location lets you upload, select paperweight, print & then pick up in store. It was for 8.5x11" prints on card stock for reference. But since I needed this completed by 8am I was able to go into the store and have them print my files with no issues, the cost was slightly higher then the Ogden Ave proposed cost though. read more

First of all I just wanna say these people are quick. I have been coming to this UPS for over a year now and I have never waited more than a few minutes. The workers are always keeping busy and very kind. I love that I know I can just make a quick stop here super quick and go on with my day. Today's service was the best yet. I did not catch her name but she had long braids with the shape of a heart. She was very welcoming and helpful. She answered my concerns without rushing me which is so refreshing in today's fast-paced world. I have moved farther from this UPS location but I still continue coming here for my shipping needs. To the male clerk who always tries to help the next person in line while he still has a customer in front of him who isn't finished with their transaction yet - please stop. It's annoying and arrogant. This is the 3rd time you've done this to me specifically. I find myself standing next to someone else at the register (while the line behind us is moving along just fine) and you're still doing tasks for both of us while the next available clerk could be helping one of us like the system of standing in line for your turn is meant to work. It wastes everyone's time when you're trying to prove how speedy you are helping 2 women at once, when in reality, it's inefficient and the 2 people you're juggling in front of you are getting lousy service. Be a team player and let your coworkers do their jobs. Seriously, don't call "next" until you're fully available. This is the perfect location for me to return the stuff from Amazon that wasn't the size, color, or item I ordered. I supposed I will be here frequently. The over ebullient scripted dialogue from some of the workers here is more than a little annoying but the place is new, hopefully they will settle down shortly. The first time I came I made the mistake of parking my car where it looks like the front door on First Avenue. First is so busy I was trapped in my car waiting for a safe chance to get out for quite a while. When I finally got my chance, i realized I was at the back door and had another wait to get back into my car to drive around to their very convenient parking lot in the front (the east side) of the store. I've been regularly going to this UPS store for my Amazon returns since I moved to Milwaukee. Not only have they been taking precautions for social distancing, the staff is also super sweet! I had a bit of a wait to drop a package off today but I was greeted by multiple employees who thanked me multiple times for waiting. The new UPS Store in the Fresh Water Plaza building on South 1st Street is a much needed addition to the Walker's Point neighborhood. In an area with a long-standing mix of homes and businesses (the historic Allen Bradley headquarters is directly across the street), this new UPS Store fits well with the neighborhood's recent boom in small businesses and apartment dwellings. One of the strengths of the UPS Store is that each location is owned and operated by someone from that community. During a recent visit to this new store, one of the owners told us she has lived in Walker's Point her entire life. The two owners of the new Walker's Point location can almost always be found working in the store and clearly are committed to the store and the neighborhood. And like the best small business people, they are friendly and will do their best to ensure you're fully satisfied. We became familiar with the Walker's Point UPS store when we decided to rent one of their mailboxes. Previously (about 7-8 years ago) I had rented a mailbox in another UPS Store location and found it two be a valuable service, especially their ability to accept and hold packages at times when no one may be home. For me, this is a much preferred option to wondering whether the Amazon (or FedEx or UPS) package that some delivery person left on my doorstep will actually still be there when I get home. Comparing my experiences at that previous UPS Store to my current experiences at this new Walker's Point location, however, make it very clear how much of a difference it makes having dedicated and customer-focused owners. What could be a typical unmemorable retail encounter is instead a positive and even pleasant experience. Not only will you find what you were seeking, but you may actually leave the store feeling a little bit happier than when you arrived. The Walker's Point UPS Store is one of the locations that offers Notary Services and Passport Photos, in addition to the usual shipping, printing and small business services offered in nearly all UPS Stores. The bottom line is that this new UPS Store location is a great and much needed addition to the neighborhood. The location is very convenient. Too bad shipping is overpriced and not reliable. Have had several really bad experiences with packages not making it on time, and no follow up. Dropped piece of paper off on Tuesday around 5 pm...was supposed to get there by Friday (for a cost of $12) but it didn't get there until six days later (I could have chosen to pay $45 for next day..). My first notice that the piece of paper did not arrive came via phone call from the intended recipient. I had to track down a human at UPS to ask why my piece of paper was just sitting somewhere in the next state over. I had a very similar experience 18 months ago, trying to get a piece of paper delivered--same exact thing happened. It is very plausible that it is actually UPS at fault and not all the owners of this shop. However, I have also been treated in an unfriendly manner, and last time I was there, I witnessed another family being treated in an unfriendly manner -- they ended up walking out with their package. Too bad, because as I started out in this review, it is a really convenient option to ship an important item. read more

I've never gotten one printed on card stock before but he made it so easy and took care of all the technical stuff. He even helped me print something on the envelop for the card.
