I brought in several items including a bomber style leather jacket. They couldn't give me an exact price on the jacket as they send it out, but I was told it would be a maximum of about $65. When I came back to pick it up, the bill was close to $100. I said that's not what I was told. The woman behind the counter said that's what we charge. I pointed to the sign that said "Leather coats $41.50 - $65.50 (depending on length, pile lined)". I asked to speak to a manager and she handed me the phone. The manager / owner said he didn't have the price list in front of him and I said that I did. He adjusted the price, but still charged me the base price of $65.50. This is not a full length leather coat, but that's what I paid for. With tax and "environmental fee" the total was $72.18. That will be my last visit. read more

I told the woman I wanted both items (a wool and silk shirt and a pair of wool slacks) dry cleaned. I failed to read the receipt she gave me until yesterday and it says launder the shirt. This is the best dry cleaning shop I've encountered in the few short years I've had a need for dry cleaning. The Buffalo St. location is clean, spacious, and lovely, with a visitor's temporary parking spot right out front. I have never had to contend with a line; service is immediate. The young woman behind the counter (same one every time I've been there) is exceedingly friendly and pleasant. In comparison with most dry cleaners--characterized by heat, discomfort, and poor service--this is a great place to have to go from time to time. The one and only downside: it's expensive. I use to work at this place years ago. I left because there was a lot of sketchy bs going on. The Hispanic lady that worked there use to steal clothes from the customers and the Asian owner was just as sneaky as they come, over charging customers and he would be very horrible to the Hispanic employees that worked there. Ever since he bought this dry cleaning business from the previous owner (Marilyn, who was amazing btw) the name has become a joke. I had two winter coats cleaned here, one down, one wool. The cleaning services were good and both coat came back fine. My lower rating comes from my repair experience. Repairs are sent off premise and they are unable to quote how much a repair will cost or how long it will take. I asked if they could call when both items were ready, she said sure. I never got a call, so I just stopped in a few weeks later. The lining and the pocket of the wool coat were needing to be restitched. The back lining was repaired and the pocket was not. The attendant said I didn't tell her about it. I remember differently. She said that they could send it out for repairs again but it would be another $12.00. I passed and will probably not bother here again. Final bill was $45 for two winter coats cleaned and one partially repaired. read more

This cleaner is terrible and untrustworthy, constantly missing deadlines. I've used them 3 times...given them 3 chances and this was the last. I've had late orders from them every time, but this time it's two days late and I'm headed out of town with nothing to wear! The part that gets me is that the workers don't care at all. No apology, no discount, not promise to do better next time...they have no idea how to deal with customers or how to run a professional dry cleaning service. Avoid them at all costs. read more

My boyfriend introduced me to this dry cleaner, and I am hooked! Very friendly staff who recognize my boyfriend and makes him/us feel special and like we are getting the VIP treatment. I'm a fan of this place. I spent a lot of time searching for a place to have my wife's wedding gown dry cleaned and preserved, and the price was right with Natural Cleaners, at least $100 cheaper than the price quote from Martinizing. The dress looks beautiful. We couldn't find any of the grass stains, so we knew they got it right the first time. They called when the dress was ready for be looked at, and then offered to box/preserve it for $30 more, and then called again when we could pick it up. The staff was very courteous on the phone and answered all of our questions. I think they did a fantastic job. read more

This business deserves 0 stars because when I was picking up my cleaners I was overcharged by 66%. I did not think anything of it initially as I was in a rush. When I looked up the price list on their website later at home, the math did not add up. I called the cleaners and left a message about wanting to resolve this issue, not to my surprise, I did not receive a call back. Whatever the reason (making a mistake or increasing prices) a good business would have called back and explained the reason behind it. ARROGANT, CONDESCENDING and DOWNRIGHT RUDE. A new pair of my wife's slacks that I'd dropped off at the Thiensville outlet came back stained. I told the clerk - (who is polite but not committal) that I was pretty sure the stain wasn't there when I dropped them off. The clerk said it was improbable, but admitted not impossible, that they had stained the slacks. She also said she did not recall seeing the stain when I'd given her the slacks. ( I assume she would have mentioned it had she noticed it.) The clerk agreed to send the slacks back to try to remove the stain at no cost. A few days later my wife received a call from a man identifying himself only as someone from Natural Cleaners and telling her "YOU ARE UNREASONABLE!" Apparently he wanted her to admit she'd stained the slacks. I could believe this if they were my slacks. But the fact is my wife could get into a food fight and not get anything on her. I also believe her. These were brand new slacks. My wife reminded him that she was the customer, in an effort to defuse his anger. He would not be moved. "YOU ARE UNREASONABLE AND YOU SHOULD NEVER COME BACK TO MY STORE." And he hung up. So have we. read more

This place is the worst!!! I accidentally left two credit cards and two ID's in the pants pocket of a suit brought in on Thursday. The employee who took the suit was supposed to clear out the pockets. When I went in on Saturday (after thoroughly looking for them and confirming they were in the suit) to see if they were found, the owner, Chad, happened to be working and claimed he couldn't find them. He never bothered to call the employee or tell me that he had JUST FIRED HER!! I came in on Monday and he still simply shrugged and said that they couldn't find them and he refused to give me the fired employees name. So i had to spend not only the time and aggravation of replacing the credit cards but had to get the police involved to get some investigation as to this theft. I have used this cleaner for a number of years because I like the idea that they are not destroying the earth with the chemicals they use. I always ask for steam, no iron, as the irons they use are too hot and leave my primarily black clothes with lines on the seams. They recently ruined a Theory skirt that had barely been worn and cost several hundred dollars even on sale by ironing it. It came back with a very noticeable line down the middle of the back of the skirt on the seam, leading me to believe they did not follow my instructions to use only steam. They would not pay for the skirt. This is the first time I've ever had a drycleaner ruin an article of clothing and not pay for it. The clerk even admitted that she would be as upset as I was if her clothes came back looking like that. read more

I love this cleaner! First thing you notice is it doesn't smell like a dry cleaner's! It smells clean and the air doesn't burn my eyes. I took my daughters wedding dress there, which had a pink frosting stain on it. I didn't have great expectations but the clerk said as long as they knew what it was, they could treat it with the correct cleaner. The dress came back great, pink stain gone. I did not get it in the fancy sealed box but it came back on a formed hanger and in a zippered bag. Very happy with the service and the work. I will go back, just not often as I don't do a lot of dry cleaning. Price wise, I had gone to the website and got a discount coupon for 1st time customers. They let me use it on this higher priced cleaning. I had shopped around and for cleaning wedding dresses they were reasonably priced. read more

Not only did this place LAUNDER my clothes for almost an entire year without my knowledge, the ownership is shady. Literally I have been taking my clothes for DRY CLEANING and the women most recently said, "oh no, we have never dry cleaned a single piece you have brought here." What? Wondering why my designer clothes were essentially shredding and buttons were falling off consistently, I inquired and sure enough. Laundered. If I wanted to wash my clothes, I would do it myself. Apparently "new" ownership is on board, though I was told they live in "Florida", however, when I sent pictures of my ruined garments they offered to meet me. Huh? Miraculously they live close to the store. I understand a mix up, here and there, though when greeted with a stare, communicated with like a child, and simply charged "rush" fees for no apparent reason. It seems they aren't all that interested in really making their customers happy. They wouldn't redeem my $40 Groupon just because it wasn't presented at the time of drop-off. The biggest problem I have with the experience is that they just didn't seem to care and weren't willing to negotiate at all. Perhaps my customer service expectations are too high but for $60 in cleaning I expect better. I love this dry cleaner! I went here because of a Groupon and found the place has everything you could want in a downtown dry cleaners: friendly, clean, and doesn't wreck your clothes. They also have short-term parking right out front, which has never been full any of the times I have dropped off/picked up clothes (although I imagine parking could be a pain if you went during peak Third Ward time.) It is pricier than other dry cleaners, but they state their prices on the website so this shouldn't a surprise and if you are reading a Yelp review on a dry cleaners, it sounds like you're doing your research. Either way, I have always been happy with the service and quality of Natural Cleaners and recommend it to anyone looking for a Milwaukee great dry cleaner. read more

I just had the most annoying experience with this dry cleaners. Two and a half weeks ago I brought my jacket in for the zipper to be fixed. I picked it up the following week, paid for it, and left. I realized later that the zipper wasn't fixed. So, I brought it back and the young girl working there was very nice about it and offered to fix it again, at no charge. (Obviously... who would pay twice for something that wasn't fixed once?) I picked the jacket up again today, but there was a different woman working there. I got home, realized the zipper wasn't fixed again, called the woman and told her I'd like my money refunded on my credit card, which began a series of ridiculous phone calls and lies. She told me to call the "owner" but really gave me the number to the Brookfield store where they didn't answer. I called this woman back and she said she just spoke to the owner and that all they could do was offer me store credit. So, I called the "customer service" number listed on their website, and I actually did speak to Sam, the owner, who hadn't spoken to the woman at the store at all! He told me they'd be happy to refund me and he was so sorry for the inconvenience. So, I drove back to the dry cleaners and the bitter woman said she "just talked to the owner" and I could only have cash back - no refund on my credit card. She was unpleasant, bitter, and probably lying about that too, though who knows why. I asked her her name and she refused to give it to me. Eventually she said her name was "Tina." Bottom line: 2.5 weeks later my jacket is not fixed, my credit card still has the charge on it, I have cash back instead, and I will never go there again because they are dishonest. read more

I just had an experience with "Tina" too. I am a customer that brings in approximately 50 items per month. When I dropped my order off today and told her I would like to pick it up Wednesday evening if possible she didn't say a word. And, the entire time she just sat there looking at me counting the shirts, pants, sweaters, etc,, that I brought in because for some reason, this dry cleaner will NOT count the items. Then they ask me if any of the shirts have snaps, etc....I don't know because they are my husbands's shirts. I have never been to a dry cleaner that didn't count the items themselves. When I said this to her she said she watches me and "counts with me"....WHAT?????? When she handed me the ticket, she told me if I didn't pick up the order Wednesday evening I would be charged $5 more because this was considered a rush order. I didn't ask for a rush order and when I expressed my disbelief at such poor customer service she said it's because too many people want a rush and then don't pick up the items when they asked for them. Huh? Wouldn't a dry cleaner just be happy people are bringing their clothes to them. I took an issue with this - it isn't posted anywhere and it isn't on their receipt. I asked for the owners name and she did NOT want to give it to me. She also told me to call the Brookfield store and they "might be able to locate him". She did not want to give me her name and wanted to argue with me. She finally said "Tina" and she is grouchy and doesn't want to work. She did NOT want me to call the owner and kept asking me what the problem was. I wonder if that's an actual new policy or her way of getting $5 extra dollars in her pocket.
