I've been to this location several times, for different reasons. Amazon returns, package pickups & this time for a public notary. Each time has been pretty quick, easy & flawless. There isn't ever too much of a crowd or wait. I've visited during rush hour in the middle of the week & late afternoon on Saturdays- I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes for help. The return process is quick & easy if you have your ducks in a row & the barcodes ready to scan. I was in & out in less than 10 minutes. Package pickups take a little longer as they verify your identity & have you sign off- but that is much appreciated & never takes longer than 10 minutes, including the wait for help. And, the public notary took about 5 minutes total, with no wait. Extremely easy- verified my ID & gave me the option to have a disclaimer emailed or printed. DO NOT sign or date your document before hand- they will do their legal obligation in denying the service! (I didn't have this issue, but my sister did.) And, it makes me feel comfortable using this service here because of their diligence. The reason for 4 stars- the employees here are entirely unfriendly & mundane. 0 personality. They don't greet you, don't have very good communication & just seem entirely checked out. It was a little rude when I came here for package pickups, I had my arms stacked full of boxes twice my size. I didn't expect anyone to assist me, but simply opening the door so I didn't have to awkwardly maneuver or make multiple trips would have been nice! Especially when I was the only customer in the store at the time. And, I think the fee for notary services is ridiculous. $10 to stamp a piece of paper & signature a log book. I would have gone to my bank had they been open, so this was a last resort. But I don't really suggest it if you can get it done elsewhere for free. I could justify a $5 fee... but this just seems like robbery for the sheer convenience. It's a decent entity for the services provided. I just feel like the employees could use a little customer service pep talk & maybe reconsider the insane cost of a stamp/signature. It didn't cost them anything but a small amount of ink & 5 minutes of someone's wage- I guess they assume those who are preparing legal documents can afford the inflated service. read more

Ok, So whoever stopped overscenting this business is apparently back at it. The business is back to smelling like a mixture of artificial stink and sewage. Their service has always been perfect, so as long as I can avoid being in there for more than 30 to 45 seconds, I won't taste it in my mouth. 5-19-30 update. Again, I will say the staff at this place are friendly and helpful and we plan to continue using this location. Despite the message I got from Chris at the location saying the problem has been fixed, it still seems to be an issue in a big way. These folks are fantastic. Due to Covid 19, I had to file for unemployment. Of course, the forms are all date specific and have to be FAXED to AZDES. The UPS store is overwhelmed with people asking them to FAX in their forms, so they are queuing them up, and refilling until all go through. They are then calling to tell you when your form was faxed and they are saving the confirmation notice for you. In a time when we all need to work together. This UPS store is going above, and beyond. Not sure what went wrong for these other Yelpers but I've been here several times to mail packages and have never had a bad experience. There's never been a line so I'm in and out of the UPS Store very quickly. It's located on the SE corner of Dobson and Baseline, same plaza as the grocery store. Customer service has been satisfactory. I always ask about the cheapest mailing option and the second cheapest, and associated ship times (although I almost always go with the least expensive option). I've never received any attitude from the employees when asking these questions. Everyone has been helpful and quick to complete the transaction. If your package isn't sealed, it's an extra $1 for them to tape it up according to a sign on the cash register. I don't review my receipts but I'm not sure I'm always charged this extra fee. Either way, it's only $1 so I wouldn't really be upset if I had to pay for it. read more

Updating my review to say that if I could leave less than 1 star, I would because I received a reply to my review from the business owner that was rude and claimed UPS had actually made zero mistakes and the sender had actually made them. To reiterate, I received a package that UPS mislabeled and sent to me. I know that UPS mislabeled it because it had multiple labels. One label is from the actual sender addressed to a recipient in California. Then there is another label that is from a totally different sender, who I actually did order from and received that package earlier in the week, addressed to me. So tell me how the original sender (a record pressing company) put a label from a totally different sender (a cotton rope supplier) on a package and addressed it to someone they don't know (me)??? That simply doesn't make any sense. read more

I have been going here for a few years now. The staff here is absolutely AMAZING. They put my packages in my trunk when I was working with COVID patients and couldn't get them. They send me Christmas cards and say hi to me by name every time I walk in the door. They are also upfront and honest with costs. In one short day I needed so many things mailed out and faxed - and this place really accommodated me and my list. All smiles, no complaints... Best thing? Everything was done perfectly! I went into this UPS to ship my package and the service was great when they were getting my money. However, I had a situation where the package had to be shipped back a few days later so the UPS store out of town had to ship it back to the store it came from. When I went to pick up the package the owner was RUDE and treated me like I was a child. She insisted that I was crazy and that the package could not be delivered there. I was in shock when she started to talk to me slowly like a child explaining how "shipping" works! The funny part, sure enough, my package was delivered there and I had to keep calling to make sure it was not sent back. The issue wasn't really the package situation but the customer service....don't be rude and uppity. Plus she charged me $5 to pick up the package from her store saying it was a "private location". WTH?? its UPS..the least private place in the world. Anyway, I would have gladly paid for any error on my part if the customer service was good. She threw the package on the counter when it was picked up...there was a laptop in there! This UPS store has turned me into a FedEx customer. I am sooo fed up with bad customer service!! read more

The good: Friendly, fast, clean, competent, ships UPS or USPS whether you have paid already or not, packs, and sells packing supplies and copies, gets the job done. The bad: When quoting UPS and USPS prices, they add additional profit without ever telling you how much the base carrier postage is. They also tend to overcharge for supplies and packing services. Overall evaluation: Totally unacceptable. 1 star. They can charge any price they want, but I cannot accept them keeping the base price a secret. They should tell you the base price as a service, and then add their $1-$3 convenience fee for each package, then their service fees and their supplies prices and taxes, and show it all on your receipt. read more

Paid for shipping label paid shipping was told package will arrive to destination on Tuesday I said great thanks and I got a call the Tuesday my shipment was supposed to arrive to destination and was told now my shipment went to wrong address and is being returned and that it will take couple days for it to come back to this ups store then I will be in charge of the cost of shipping again and new label when it was the lady at the register that put the wrong adress‍The owner of this store is also rude and disrespectful she didn't let me talk the whole time she kept interrupting and refused to listen. Have used their services a handful of times because it's conveniently located. Unfortunately, I feel the need to post this low star review. It depends on who is in the store if you get a friendly person. Billy (a previous reviewer) is right - it does often smell like sewer and artificial scent in there! I thought it was my imagination, or maybe someone had used the restroom. Lastly, they overcharge - A LOT! I went in today to mail something to Hawaii. The package was about 2 lbs. They wanted $38 and change to mail it! When I asked why it was so high, the lady reacted to me like I was being unreasonable and accusing her aggressively. I simply asked why it was so high because I mail to Hawaii often. Sometimes I do to Office Depot, sometimes the post office, etc. Even at other UPS stores, it's never been that high. She said she couldn't "change what the computer what processing." I took my box, went to the post office and it was $19 INCLUDING the insurance for it. I asked UPS for the most basic, least expensive cost. That woman was either trying to send my mail with the most expensive rate or up-charging...OR she had poor listening and customer service skills. Either way, I will not be using this location any more. It's conveniently located but not worth it. read more

Everyone at the store is incredibly friendly - I couldn't pick out just anyone because of it. Despite it being the holiday season, everyone is still polite, friendly and giving prompt service. I rarely have to wait long in line because of it. Most of the year, trips to the store are even quicker - often times they'll have my things ready before I'm through the door, I usually just have to grab the slips from my mailbox and sign them. I just got my fingerprints taken at this location. The service I received from Emma was outstanding. She was knowledgeable and friendly. The reason im giving this location 2 stars is because Emma and 1 other employee out of 6 were the only ones wearing masks. This included the manager and im guessing the owner who were working on re-measuring the social distancing grid on the floor. She was very rude the whole time, she threw my license across the counter and did not even have the courtesy to say "you're welcome" after being thanked.
